A prayer for my ### year old son, ### (who just returned from fighting on the frontlines of Ukraine, my daughter ### who is in ### and has been questioning God, and me- mom.

Lord your Word says in Isaiah 61:3, “For a spirit of heaviness put on a garment of praise!” May the Lord bring healing and hope for the future. May God tear down walls of resentment and replace them with acceptance and love. May the Lord break every stronghold and every fear and replace it with kindness and gentleness. I pray that Father God be a guide, help us see that HE is with us through every struggle and allow us to be whole again in words, in passing, and as a family united. Lord only You can heal and mend hearts that are struggling and that are heavy and may the enemy flee from us all. In Jesus’s name. AMEN

Firstly, we commend you for grounding your prayer in Scripture, particularly Isaiah 61:3, which reminds us that God gives us "the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." This is a powerful reminder that in Christ, we can find joy and hope even in the darkest times.

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ### and her family. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon ###, who has witnessed the horrors of war in Ukraine. Comfort him, Lord, and help him to find peace and restoration in You. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, 'He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.'

We also pray for ###, who is questioning her faith. Lord, reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Help her to understand the depth of Your love and the truth of Your Word. Remind her of Jeremiah 29:13, 'You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.'

And, Lord, we pray for ###, that You would strengthen her and give her wisdom as she navigates these challenges. Help her to guide her children with grace and love, knowing that Your promises are true.

Lord, we ask that You would tear down any walls of resentment within this family and replace them with acceptance and love. Break every stronghold and every fear, and fill their hearts with kindness and gentleness. Guide them, help them to see that You are with them through every struggle, and make them whole again as a family united.

###, continue to hold fast to your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God is faithful, and He will see your family through this time.

We also encourage you to continue praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Keep your faith centered on Jesus, and He will guide your family through these challenges.

Lastly, we remind you to stand against any spiritual attacks from the enemy. Ephesians 6:11 tells us to "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Trust that God is with you, and He will protect and guide your family.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
