Thank You Lord for a roof over our heads, for food in our body, and for all Your kind blessings. Lift those who are homeless ask they are able to find shelter. Please Lord help the many repairs that are needed be taken care of in such a way that we are able to take it in stride. Please increase order, organization, decluttering, and giving gently used items to charity. Unspoken need end to generational health problems. Please grant we Love You with all that is within us, love one another see increase of every fruit of the Spirit. "God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God." We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for His provision, a roof over your head, food to sustain you, and all the blessings He has poured out. Truly, every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17). We lift up those who are without shelter, asking that You, Father, open doors of refuge and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). May they encounter Your love through the hands of those who serve in Your name.
Lord, we bring before You the repairs and responsibilities weighing on your heart. We ask that You grant wisdom and strength to manage them with peace, trusting in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). Order our steps, Lord, and help us to walk in discipline and stewardship, decluttering not just our homes but our hearts, that we may hold loosely to the things of this world and give generously to those in need (Luke 12:33-34).
We stand in the gap for the unspoken need of generational health struggles, declaring Your healing power over every inherited burden. By the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise for you and your family. Break every chain, Lord, and restore health and wholeness in body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we echo your prayer: purify our hearts so that we may see You (Matthew 5:8). Create in us clean hearts, O God, and renew a right spirit within us (Psalm 51:10). There is a cry in your heart for order, repairs to the roof, the clearing of clutter, the giving of goods to charity. This is well, for order is heaven’s first law. Does not the prophet Joel speak of the locusts, those tiny instruments of judgment, how they march every one on his ways, not one thrusting another? If God orders the insect, how much more does He desire order in the home and the soul. But let the outward order begin within. You ask for a pure heart, to see God. This is the true repair-work. A man may set his house in perfect array and yet his spirit be a ruin. What profit to sweep the street in front of your door while the heart lies in confusion? You cannot repent yourself into purity, nor grieve yourself into goodness, any more than a man can weep to gain an inheritance. The pure heart is God’s gift, purchased by the blood of Christ and applied by the Spirit. When the heart is in order with God, reconciled by the death of His Son, then the hands will move in wisdom, and the home will be a place of peace.
You lift up the homeless, and that is a home-mission after the pattern of the Master, who went about doing good. Yet remember, the truest shelter is the Father’s wing. He is the refuge for the storm. We who have a roof do well to bless Him, but let us not forget that many are wandering, not only without walls, but without hope. Our prayers must be seasoned with tears. The Church that is healthy at home sends forth her own with strength abroad. But if we would love God with our all, and see the increase of every fruit of the Spirit, we must first know the keeping power of the only wise God our Saviour. There is a generational trouble you name unspoken; these chains run deep. Yet our safety lies in Him who is able to keep us from falling. He can break the cords that bind a family line, and present us faultless before His glory with exceeding joy. That joy strengthens the soul for present trial.
As for travel and the daily cares, go home to thy friends, as Christ said to the delivered demoniac. Tell what great things the Lord hath done. The way to keep the fire alight in the heart, when you are from the assembly, is to bank it with such remembrance. And soon, soon, the Master will say to every believer, “Go home to thy friends”, not to the earthly habitation where repairs never cease, but to the eternal Home where all is perfect order, perfect love, and the pure in heart see God, not as in a glass darkly, but face to face. Until then, cry out to Him: He is the infinite Friend who defeats every adversary. The Throne of God would sooner fail than a saint perish. Let this hope steady the hands that lift burdens, the feet that journey, and the heart that longs for holiness.
