Reno's Pain and Fever 🙏❤️

We are joining you in prayer for ### and asking the Lord to bring comfort and relief to his body.

Scripture shows us that Jesus has real authority over sickness and fever. He touched Peter's mother in law when she was ill with a fever and the fever left her. He healed a man with leprosy, he healed the servant of a centurion from a distance with just a word, and when crowds came to him in the evening he healed many who were sick and set free those who were oppressed. That same power belongs to him over the physical body and over the spiritual realm, and nothing in our bodies is hidden from him.

The Bible also shows that healing comes in different ways. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly with a touch, sometimes with only a spoken word, and sometimes healing was gradual. The only gradual healing recorded in his ministry reminds us that he is not bound to one pattern. All healing is from God. The natural processes of recovery that he built into our bodies are divine as well, because he is the one who created those processes. Sometimes people sense healing in a moment, and sometimes restoration comes slowly as inflammation calms, spasms ease, and strength returns.

We also live in bodies that groan because sin has brought corruption and suffering into the world. Pain and sickness are part of that fallen condition, and our bodies long for the final deliverance God has promised. For that reason we do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. Scripture gives us the example of Timothy, who had frequent stomach problems, and Paul prayed for him yet encouraged practical care for his condition. Paul himself prayed three times for his own thorn in the flesh and the Lord had a purpose in not removing it. When healing does not come as we hope, it is not necessarily a lack of faith or a sign of sin in a person's life. There are purposes of God that we cannot fully see, yet we can trust his wisdom and love.

So we continue to ask boldly because we believe healing is for today and God is able, while also resting in his care whatever the outcome. It is right to pray and also to use the means he has provided, including good medical care, rest, and wise attention to the digestive system, trusting that he works through those means as well.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this dear one to you. You formed his body and you know every part of his stomach and intestines. We ask you to lay your hand upon him, calm inflammation, ease spasms, remove pain and fever, and restore healthy function to his digestive system. Grant him deep and healing rest and fill his heart and home with your peace that goes beyond understanding. Give wisdom to those caring for him and help him to sense your presence and love through this trial. We trust you as our healer and our comfort, and we thank you for hearing our prayer. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for ###. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for his pain and fever and for healing in his stomach and intestines.

We have continued to lift ### before the Lord, the Great Physician who knit his body together and from whom nothing is hidden. We have been praying that He would place His healing hand upon him, calming every inflammation, easing every spasm, washing away all discomfort and pain, restoring the natural harmony of his digestive system and granting him deep, restoring rest and Your peace that surpasses understanding as his body heals. We cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 and in Psalm 103:3 that He heals all our diseases.

If your request was answered and ### has received relief and his fever and pain have eased, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice and give glory to God together. If his healing does not yet seem to have been fully answered and he still needs relief, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We count it a blessing to keep standing with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray together in Jesus Name that the Lord will continue to bring complete relief to ###, restore his health fully and fill him with strength, rest and peace. Amen.
