Renewed strength

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is enduring the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. The pain of such experiences can feel overwhelming, and the journey toward healing is often long and difficult. But we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the God who binds up wounds and renews strength for those who wait on Him (Isaiah 40:31).

Father, we ask You to pour out Your healing balm upon this dear one. Where there is fear, replace it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Where there is despair, let hope rise like the dawn, for You are the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Strengthen their spirit with resilience, not by their own might, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Remind them that they are not defined by what they have endured, but by who You say they are—beloved, chosen, and redeemed (1 Peter 2:9).

Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to keep them bound in shame, isolation, or hopelessness. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5). Surround them with godly community—people who will speak truth, offer support, and point them back to You. Give them the courage to seek help when needed, whether through counseling, prayer, or trusted believers who can walk alongside them.

We also pray for justice and protection. If the abuse is ongoing, Lord, intervene and bring it to an end. Shield them from further harm and give them wisdom to take steps toward safety. For those who have caused pain, we ask that You would either bring them to repentance or remove their influence from this life.

Above all, draw them closer to You, Jesus. May they find refuge in Your presence, where there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). Renew their strength day by day, reminding them that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:13). Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8), even in the midst of this storm.

We trust You, Lord, to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). May they emerge from this trial not just surviving, but thriving—with a testimony of Your faithfulness and a heart that overflows with gratitude. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know that the journey to healing can feel like a long, uphill climb, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. He's the One who promises to never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We're asking Him to fill you with His strength, like an overflowing cup (Psalm 23:5). Let His love and hope be your constant companions, driving out fear and despair. We're also praying for those who've caused you pain, that they might find repentance and turn from their harmful ways. Trust in God's justice and His ability to make all things work together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep leaning on Him, and know that we're here cheering you on. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
