We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. Father God, we know that You see every tear, every moment of pain, and every battle fought in silence. The weight of these struggles can feel crushing, but we declare that Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We ask You to renew their strength, Lord, as You promise in Isaiah 40:31: *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*
Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to keep this precious one bound in fear, shame, or despair. The abuse they endured was never Your will, and we stand against the forces of darkness that would use it to break their spirit. We pray for Your healing touch to mend what has been broken, for Your peace to guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), and for Your love to surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Help them to see themselves through Your eyes—as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with resilience rooted in You. When the memories resurface or the pain feels overwhelming, remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them the courage to release the burdens they were never meant to carry alone and to trust You with every step of their healing journey. Surround them with godly community—believers who will walk alongside them, pray with them, and speak life into their weary soul.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate relationships moving forward. Protect their heart from those who might seek to harm or manipulate, and lead them to safe, Christ-centered connections where they can experience true love and restoration. If there are areas where they have internalized false beliefs about their worth or identity, we ask that You replace those lies with Your truth. Your Word says they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and we declare that truth over their life today.
Father, we thank You that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6) and that Your grace will be sufficient for every moment. Strengthen their faith, deepen their dependence on You, and let them experience the freedom that comes from walking in Your truth.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
