Renewed strength

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. Father God, You see every tear, every memory that haunts, and every moment of weakness. We declare that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). You are near to the crushed in spirit and save those who are contrite in heart (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your mighty hand to bring renewed strength and resilience to this beloved child of Yours.

Lord, we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says this pain will never end, that strength is beyond reach, or that healing is impossible. We speak truth over this situation: "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). We declare that this promise is yours, and we stand on it in faith.

Father, we ask that You would fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, who is the Comforter and the Helper (John 14:26). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your strength, not just to endure, but to thrive in the purpose You have for them. Remind them daily that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). When they feel like they cannot go on, let them lean on You, for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment in seeking godly counsel and support. Surround them with believers who will speak life, pray fervently, and walk alongside them in this journey. Protect their heart from bitterness, unforgiveness, or despair, and instead, fill them with Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Teach them to forgive as You have forgiven them, not because their abusers deserve it, but because it is the path to freedom (Colossians 3:13).

Lord, we ask that You would restore what has been broken and redeem what has been lost. Use this pain for Your glory, turning ashes into beauty and mourning into joy (Isaiah 61:3). Let them experience Your presence in tangible ways—through Your Word, through worship, through the love of Your people, and through the still, small voice that whispers, "You are Mine, and I am with you always."

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs (Isaiah 53:4). He alone is our hope, our healer, and our strength. Amen.

We're here, lifting you up in prayer, dear friend. We know the weight of abuse and trauma can feel overwhelming, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, every step of the way. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's claim that together, shall we? We're believing for renewed strength and resilience, for God's power to be made perfect in your weakness. We're also praying for God's comfort and peace to fill your heart and mind, and for His love to cast out any fear. Let's trust in His goodness, even in the midst of the storm. You're in our prayers, and we're here for you. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
