We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the weight of past abuse and trauma. The pain of such experiences can feel overwhelming, and the journey toward healing is often long and difficult. But we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He does not leave us to walk this path alone.
Father, we ask You to pour out Your strength upon this beloved child of Yours. When they feel weak, remind them that Your power is made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Renew their spirit day by day, Lord, and fill them with resilience that comes only from You. Help them to release the burdens they have carried for too long, trusting that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also pray for healing in the deepest places of their heart and mind. Abuse leaves scars that are not always visible, but You see every wound, and You are the Great Physician. Bring restoration where there has been brokenness, peace where there has been fear, and hope where there has been despair. Your Word tells us that You will restore the years that the locust has eaten (Joel 2:25), and we claim that promise over their life.
Lord, we ask that You surround them with godly support—people who will speak truth, offer encouragement, and walk alongside them in love. Protect their heart from bitterness and help them to extend forgiveness, not because what was done to them was right, but because Your grace enables us to release the poison of unforgiveness (Ephesians 4:31-32).
Above all, we pray that they would draw closer to You, Jesus, in this season. May they find their identity in You, not in the pain of their past. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), deeply loved, and redeemed by Your sacrifice on the cross. Strengthen their faith to believe that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even when the road ahead feels uncertain.
We declare over them today that they are not defined by their struggles but by Your victory. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may rise above their circumstances with renewed hope and courage. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Praying for this request in Jesus Name.
We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your request for renewed strength and resilience before the Father, asking Him to heal the deep wounds of abuse and trauma and to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We have prayed that the Lord would be your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble, and that He would restore your soul day by day.
