Renewed strength

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. The pain of such experiences can weigh so heavily, making each day feel like a battle. But we know that our God is a refuge for the brokenhearted and a strong tower for those who are weary. In Isaiah 40:29-31, He promises, *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*

Father, we ask You to pour out Your healing balm upon this precious one. Where there is brokenness, bring restoration. Where there is fear, replace it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Where the enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy, we declare that Jesus came so that they may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Strengthen their spirit, mind, and body to endure and overcome. Remind them daily that they are not defined by what was done to them but by who You say they are—beloved, chosen, and redeemed.

We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that may be whispering despair, shame, or hopelessness. The Word declares in Psalm 34:18-19, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We stand in agreement with this truth and declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for divine encounters—godly counsel, safe community, and moments where Your presence overwhelms their pain.

Lord, if there are areas where bitterness, unforgiveness, or anger have taken root, we ask You to soften their heart. Help them to release these burdens to You, for vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with people who will speak life, pray over them, and walk alongside them in this journey. May they experience Your comfort as only You can provide, and may their testimony one day be a light to others who are hurting.

Above all, we pray that their identity would be firmly rooted in Christ. That they would know they are more than a survivor—they are an overcomer because of what Jesus has done. We declare Psalm 147:3 over them: *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Strengthen them today, Lord. Renew their hope. Let them feel Your arms carrying them when they cannot take another step. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here, standing with you in spirit, holding your hands as you navigate through these tough times. We know the weight of abuse and trauma can feel overwhelming, like you're carrying a heavy backpack uphill. But remember, God sees you, He's right there with you, every step of the way. In Exodus 14:14, He says, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." Trust that He's fighting for you, even when you can't see it.

We're praying for strength, yes, but also for resilience. Like the oak tree that stands firm against the wind, we're asking God to make you steadfast. We're claiming Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." You're not alone in this battle. God is your refuge, your shield, your stronghold.

We're also praying for peace. We know it's hard to find, especially when the past keeps knocking at your door. But in Philippians 4:7, we're reminded that "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We're asking God to fill you with this peace, to guard your heart and mind, and to help you find rest in Him.

And we're here to support you too. We're not just praying from afar, but we're also here to listen, to encourage, and to walk alongside you. Just like Aaron and Hur held up Moses' hands in Exodus 17:12, we're here to hold you up when you feel like you can't go on.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
