Beloved
🙇🏻 Blessing, Honor, GRACE for Patriarchal and Matriarchal Figures... Father, thank You for grace to share The Word with these figures as they've been enabled to hear, Mk 4:33, for grace to honor our parents, Eph 6:1-3, the command with promises, it will go well with us and we'll live long in the land. Powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3, emotional & bodily health and prosperity, even as their souls prosper, 3 Jn 1:2. We ask they GROW in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 2 Pet 3:18. Help them be established in the elementary principles of the Word of God, Heb 5:12, the foundational doctrines of the faith, Heb 6:1-3, and grow up into maturity, Eph 4:15, Col 1:10, culminating in love for You, others and fullness of the Holy Spirit's fruit, Phil 1:9-11; Gal 5:22-23.

Open the eyes of our understanding with The Holy Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, Eph 1:17-18, strengthen us by rooting and grounding us in love, that Christ dwells in our hearts by faith, Eph 3:16-19, and open our minds to not only understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, but to crave the sincere milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that we may grow thereby. Help us all to move from milk to solid food, 1 Cor 3:2. And help let the Word spread rapidly and be glorified, 2 Thes 3:1, let it become flesh, help us receive FRESH TRUTHS and retain the Word, being effectual doers, not merely hearers, James 1:21-22. May this result in abiding communion with YOU, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1-3, bear fruit of true discipleship by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, making disciples, Matt 28:19-20, as Paul aspired to bear fruit among those beyond his sphere, Rom 1:13. Let us all taste the goodness of answered prayer by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7-8 and make our joy complete, John 15:24. Ultimately let them and us be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what the will of God is, Rom 12:2, being renewed in the spirit of our minds, Eph 4:23, having our minds prepared for action, 1 Peter 1:13.

Keep them and us from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin and satan, Matt 6:13, and rebuke and restrain evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, especially their neighbor they pray for and endeavor to love, Lk 6:27. Grant peace to be within their walls, Ps 122:7, even as we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, take us not out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, as You sanctify us in the truth of Your Word, John 17:17, wash us with the Water of The Word, Eph 5:26.

🙌 Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the opportunity to lift up our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, those who have been pillars of faith, wisdom, and love in our lives. Father, we thank You for the grace You have given them to hear Your Word and to walk in the light of Your truth. We recognize that honoring our fathers and mothers is not just a command but a blessing, as Your Word declares, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise: that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth" (Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB). We ask that You pour out Your favor upon them, that they may experience the fullness of this promise in every area of their lives.

Lord, we pray that You would powerfully provide everything they need for life and godliness, as Your Word assures us, "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue" (2 Peter 1:3 WEB). We ask for emotional and bodily health, prosperity, and soul prosperity, just as it is written, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2 WEB). May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, deepening their roots in Your truth and bearing the fruit of the Spirit in abundance (2 Peter 3:18, Galatians 5:22-23 WEB).

Father, we ask that You open the eyes of their understanding with the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation, that they may know You more intimately and walk in the fullness of Your calling (Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB). Strengthen them by rooting and grounding them in love, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith, and that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB). Let their minds be renewed by Your Word, that they may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2 WEB). May they crave the sincere milk of Your Word and grow into maturity, moving from milk to solid food, as they are nourished by Your truth (1 Peter 2:2, 1 Corinthians 3:2 WEB).

We pray that the Word of God would spread rapidly and be glorified in their lives, becoming flesh in their actions and words (2 Thessalonians 3:1 WEB). May they not only hear Your Word but be effectual doers of it, retaining it in their hearts and living it out in their daily lives (James 1:21-22 WEB). Let this result in abiding communion with You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, bearing the fruit of true discipleship as they continue in Your Word (John 8:31-32, 15:7-8 WEB). May their joy be made complete as they walk in obedience and intimacy with You (John 15:24 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You keep them and us from hurt, harm, injury, sickness, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Deliver us from evil, as we pray in the Lord’s Prayer, and rebuke and restrain the evil one and those who would seek to harm us (Matthew 6:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 WEB). Grant peace within their walls and protect them from all forms of spiritual and physical attack (Psalm 122:7 WEB). Sanctify them in Your truth, for Your Word is truth, and wash them with the water of Your Word (John 17:17, Ephesians 5:26 WEB).

We also lift up the neighbors and loved ones they pray for, asking that You would soften hearts and open doors for the Gospel to be shared in love and truth. May they endeavor to love as You have commanded, even those who may oppose them (Luke 6:27 WEB). Let Your peace reign in their homes and communities, and may they be a light in this world while being kept from its corruption (John 17:15 WEB).

Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, trusting that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives and ours, now and forevermore. Amen.

We join you in thanking God for giving these patriarchs and matriarchs ears to hear His Word and for the grace to honor them. Your desire to see them move from milk to solid food and be transformed by the renewing of their minds is a beautiful echo of the Spirit’s own work in your heart.

As you continue praying, we want to offer a bit of steady encouragement: spiritual growth in those we love rarely follows a straight, predictable line. It more often moves in cycles, deepening even when it looks like nothing is happening, or even when there are setbacks. The seed of the Word that’s been planted is living and active; the Lord who began a good work in them will be faithful to complete it. Your faithful prayers, and even the simple acts of sharing what you’re learning, are part of the watering and tending that God uses.

A concrete next step that often helps is, along with praying, to look for the small signs of growth you can point out and encourage in them. A gentle word like, “I saw you handle that with patience; I can see the Lord growing you,” can breathe courage into their journey. You don’t need to manufacture something grand; just seeing and naming the little things reinforces that God is at work.

Now, let’s carry these burdens together before the Lord.

Father, we lift up these patriarchs and matriarchs You’ve placed in this family. Quietly and steadily open the eyes of their understanding and give them a genuine craving for Your Word. Protect them from harm and evil, grant peace within their walls, and provide everything they need for life and godliness. Root and ground them in love, and make them effectual doers of Your truth, not forgetful hearers. Renew their minds day by day, and let them prove what Your good and perfect will is. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You speak of a renewed mind, of transformation, and of honor toward those set in authority over you. Yet know this: the mind is never truly renewed by its own straining after what it calls fresh truths, as if the Word were a field for the intellect to plow. The true renewing is this, Christ in you. Whatever Christ is, His people are in Him. They were crucified in Him; they were dead in Him; they were buried in Him; they are risen in Him. The mind that is stayed on self-improvement remains in fetters, but the mind that grasps its perfection in Christ Jesus lies down in green pastures. Because he is perfect in Christ, he will long to be more like Christ, and that longing is itself the Spirit’s fruit, not the product of a disciplined brow.

You pile up petitions for patriarchs and matriarchs as if by many words you might twist the arm of grace. But Christ is in the covenant to comfort every coming sinner. Can you lay hold on Christ? Can you say, “Nothing in my hand I bring, simply to Thy cross I cling”? That is the honey of the honeycomb. That is the medicine drawn from the vial and swallowed. A man may clamor for growth, for solid food, for the profound mysteries, but if he has never learned to drop into the arms of Jesus, he is a child crying for meat when he has not yet taken the sincere milk. The very essence of faith lies there, the consciousness of being lost in ourselves and found in Christ, and the leaving of one’s soul in Jesus’ hands.

You pray against the evil one, and you do well. Yet remember that other men bind the hands of Christ by seeking pleasure in sin. The devil is not so much to be rebuked with loud cries as he is expelled by the quiet indwelling of the Son of God. Get Christ in you curing your sin, Christ in you filling your soul with love to virtue and holiness, bathing your heart in comfort and refining it with heavenly inspirations, then will you know the Lord. That is the bond that snaps every chain, for Christ has set us free. Do not sit still as though you were still in prison; rejoice in your liberty this very hour.

You plead for honor given to those who are older, for blessing upon them. This honor is best given not by outward gestures alone but by showing them, by your very life, that you are in Christ and they in Christ. Never mind about a thousand differences if you are in Christ and I am in Christ. We cannot be two; we must be one. Let us help each other’s spiritual growth. The aged saint, trembling toward the celestial city, may need no elaborate exposition of the elementary principles. Instead, he needs the consolation that Christ in His varied positions gives. In trial, Christ shines out as the consolation of His people. You rode in that triumphal chariot with Him; you are risen in Him, exalted in Him. This is the balm to pour into any weary heart, be it patriarch or youngest convert.

You ask to be kept from the evil one, to have peace within your walls, to bear fruit. Here is the root: my brethren, it is in proportion as you get near to God that you enter into the full enjoyment of life, that life which Jesus Christ gives and preserves. The principle which delivers from pride and self-conceit, which is in itself no small salvation, is that of faith in Christ. Grow in faith, and enlarge your receiving power till you take in Christ into your inmost soul by the Holy Spirit, for it is Christ in you by faith that becomes the hope of glory. Then shall you prove what is that good and acceptable will of God, not by mental gymnastics, but by the quiet fruitfulness of a branch that abides in the Vine.

Let this be your understanding: the Word made flesh is not a concept to be dissected but a Person to be possessed. Christ believed in, Christ possessed, Christ experienced, Christ in you, this is worth a world. If distresses afflict you, you are perfect in Christ. If Satan assaults, you are perfect in Christ Jesus. Cease from the endless fretting after fresh truths as if they were novelties, and feed on Him who is the ancient Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The Lamb of God in the morning, the Lamb at midday, the Lamb at the eventide, He is your perpetual resort. He is your surety, under bonds and pledges to bring you safely home. Let that truth wash you with the water of the Word, and you will find your mind not merely prepared for action but resting in the finished work.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for renewal of mind, for honor to patriarchal and matriarchal figures, for growth in the Word. Good things, if sought with a right spirit. But examine the soil of your heart first. You pile up Scriptures, yet do you thirst for the living water Christ cries out to give? He stood on the great day of the feast and cried, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink." That is no idle call. The one who truly believes, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Grace, unfailing and abundant, springs up when the heart is desperate for Him and not for the appearance of piety.

Why this elaborate catalog of verses? I seek those tears shed not for display but in compunction, tears that trickle down secretly, in closets, with no man to see only God. Hannah's lips moved; her voice was not heard, yet her tears cried louder than a trumpet, and God opened her womb. The hardness of your own soul, the rock within, becomes fruitful not by stringing together petitions about honor and health, but by the watering of such secret sorrow over sin. Do you mourn what you are apart from grace?

You speak of honoring patriarchs and matriarchs. This is the command with promise. But be careful: do not honor any man, even John the Baptizer, above Christ. The multitudes had a wrong reverence because they measured by outward signs. Christ corrected this. Honor your parents, yes, but if any authority, any figure, teaches or lives in a way that departs from the faith though he be an angel from heaven flee. If the matter is only of life, you are not harmed; their character does not make wicked the truth they hold. But where the faith is corrupted, the evil is not manifest to all, and the wicked one will not shrink from teaching it. The dignity of office or family position is one thing; the purity of the doctrine of Christ is another. Do not confuse the two. Your first duty is to cling to the Savior and His Word.

You ask for renewed minds. To be renewed is when the same thing grown old is changed. The subject remains, but the accidental is stripped away. This renewal happens in the spirit of your mind. Whosoever has the Spirit will perform no old deed; the Spirit will not endure the rotten habits of the old man. You must turn out the whole, sweep your mind clear, and like an ignorant child yield yourself entirely to the faith. All the wisdom from without contributes nothing to comprehending the faith.

Stop looking so much at the outward support and temporal fruitfulness. When anything takes place above nature, exceedingly above it, on the side of rectitude, it is plain these things are done by divine power. You want to prove God's will? Then become a fool to the world. In two ways we are His: by creation and by faith. You are not your own; you were bought with a price. Let that truth break up the fallow ground of your soul. Only then will the rivers flow, and only then will your joy be truly full.

Your prayer reflects a deep hunger for what truly matters: hearts renewed, minds opened, and a life that bears lasting fruit. So often we ask for outward change, but you have put your finger on the very core, the renewing of the mind. That is where the real battle lies. The real you is not merely your body with its appetites and drives; you are a spirit dwelling in a body, and your mind sets the course. When the mind is governed by the Spirit, the result is life and peace. When it is set on the flesh, it tends toward death. That is why the command to be transformed by the renewing of your mind is not a mere suggestion; it is the pathway to proving the will of God.

You pray for grace upon those older figures in your life, and you tie that to the command with a promise: honor your father and mother, that it may go well with you. That connection is profound. Honoring parents is a foundational structure, and when it breaks down, so much else crumbles. Yet the command is always "in the Lord." There are times when parents demand what is contrary to God's own character or commands, and in those painful places, honor does not mean blind participation in sin. It means a posture of humility, respect, and prayerful love, while cleaving to the Lord's higher authority. Grace never gives us a pass to violate His law, but it does empower us to love the undeserving, even as we ourselves have been loved.

Grace is the key to everything you are asking for. You cannot have true peace until you have tasted the grace of God. Peace and grace are always linked in that order because peace is the fruit of grace. To know that His favor rests on you not because you earned it but because He gives beautifully to the undeserving, that is what sets a soul free. And that same grace, the dispensation of grace given to us Gentiles, is what equips us to share the Word with those who have ears to hear. You pray for the simple milk of the Word to build up those you love, and then for a move into solid food. That is exactly the pattern: we must first be established in the elementary principles, and then press on to maturity, craving understanding.

Understanding is not a mere intellectual exercise. To perceive the words of understanding is to allow them to fasten themselves upon your memory, often by vivid contrast or picture, so they lodge deep in your heart. Seek understanding like a hidden treasure, and you will find the knowledge of the Lord. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and He gives grace to the humble. When you pray for the eyes of your understanding to be opened, you are asking for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to do what only He can do, to compare spiritual things with spiritual, to give you the mind of Christ.

What is that mind? It is the mind that was willing to step down. It does not exalt its own wisdom. It submits to the Father's purpose and empties itself of self-glory. This is the direct opposite of the world's clamor. So when you pray for a renewed mind, you are really asking for that humble, self-emptying posture that says, "Not my will, but Yours be done." It means being quick to hear, slow to speak, and effectual in doing, not merely a hearer who quickly forgets. That is how the Word becomes flesh in our daily lives and how we bear the fruit of true discipleship.

I am grateful for your heart to see those you pray for not only hear the Word but retain it and be washed by it. You have asked the Lord to open their minds to understand the Scriptures, as He did for the disciples on the road to Emmaus. Sometimes a child will come to faith and then go home to parents who cannot yet understand the things of the Spirit. Communication seems lost for a time. But do not be discouraged. The same Spirit who reveals the deep things of God can bridge every gap. Continue abiding in Him, and let His words abide in you. As you do, answered prayer becomes not just a random occurrence but the natural outflow of a life intertwined with Christ, making your joy complete.

You also wisely plead for protection from hurt, harm, sin, and the evil one. We remember that the prayers of a righteous person avail much, and we entrust them to the One who keeps us in the world but guards us from the evil one. Peace within your walls and a quiet heart come from that trust.

So continue to pursue wisdom. Get understanding with all your getting. As you honor those whom God has placed in your life, do so with the grace that looks like Christ. Let your mind be renewed day by day, for the Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens. His counsel stands forever, and His grace is sufficient for every need you have lifted before Him. Grace, grace that is greater than all our sin, grace that will pardon and cleanse within, is yours. Stand in that grace, and may the Word of the Lord spread rapidly and be glorified in you and through you.
