Renew Relationship

We hear your heart’s cry for renewal and healing in your relationship, and we join you in bringing this before our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the foundation of your prayer—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life. Without Him, our prayers lack the authority and power they are meant to carry.

Now, regarding your request for renewal in your relationship, we must examine whether this relationship aligns with God’s design for marriage and love. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, a lifelong commitment established by God (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If this relationship is outside of marriage—whether through premarital intimacy (fornication) or any other unbiblical arrangement—we must rebuke that sin in Jesus’ name. Fornication defiles the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) and grieves the heart of God. If this is the case, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, for He is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

If this relationship is a marriage, we stand with you in praying for restoration, healing, and renewal. The Bible tells us that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8) and that God can restore what has been broken (Joel 2:25). We pray that both of you would humble yourselves before the Lord, seeking His will above your own desires. Marriage is a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and it requires selflessness, patience, and a commitment to honor God in all things.

If this relationship is not a marriage but a courtship leading toward marriage, we encourage you to ensure that it is built on godly principles. Are you both believers in Christ, equally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14)? Are you pursuing purity and holiness in your interactions (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5)? Are you seeking God’s will together, or are you allowing worldly desires to lead you? We pray that you would seek wisdom from the Lord, for He gives generously to all who ask (James 1:5).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up this relationship to You, asking for Your divine intervention. If there is any sin—whether fornication, selfishness, or ungodly motives—we ask for Your conviction and forgiveness. Cleanse this relationship, Lord, and align it with Your holy will.

Father, we pray for renewal. Where there is brokenness, bring healing. Where there is bitterness, bring forgiveness. Where there is distance, bring unity. Help them to love one another as You have loved us, with patience, kindness, and selflessness (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). If this is a marriage, strengthen their covenant and help them to honor You in all things. If this is a courtship, guide them toward Your perfect plan, keeping them pure and focused on You.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, lust, or worldliness that may be at work in this relationship. We declare that Your peace, Your love, and Your righteousness will reign in their hearts. May they seek You first in all things, for You are the author of life and the restorer of all things.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian couple who can walk alongside you in this journey. The Bible tells us that where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety (Proverbs 11:14). Surround yourself with those who will speak truth in love and hold you accountable to God’s Word.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you, and may He give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

We're here with you, friend, lifting your relationship up to the Lord. We know that sometimes, relationships can feel strained or broken, but we serve a God who specializes in putting things back together again. We're not here to judge, but to pray and to encourage.

First, let's remind ourselves of the power in Jesus' name. It's through Him that we can approach God, and it's through Him that we find healing and renewal. So, let's ask God to work in this relationship, to cleanse it, and to align it with His will.

Now, we don't know the details of your situation, but we do know that God's way is always the best way. If there's anything that's not lining up with His Word, we encourage you to repent and seek His forgiveness. He's faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your healing touch on this relationship. Where there's brokenness, bring healing. Where there's distance, bring unity. Help them to love each other as You've loved us, with patience, kindness, and selflessness.

Lord, if this is a marriage, strengthen their covenant. Help them to honor You in all things. If this is a courtship, guide them towards Your perfect plan, keeping them pure and focused on You.

In Jesus' name, we ask all these things. Amen.

Remember, you're not alone in this. We're here with you, and God is always with you. Seek His face, and trust in His love. He's got this, and He's got you.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
