Remove them

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can approach the Father and find true freedom. Your request is not taken lightly, for Scripture is clear: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

We rebuke every demonic presence, oppression, and influence in your life and personal space in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB). We command every unclean spirit to leave you now, for Jesus has already disarmed the powers and authorities, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). You are not alone in this battle, and the victory is already won through Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the One who has conquered sin, death, and the grave. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection and deliverance. Lord, we declare that ### is Your child, bought with the precious blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their body, and their personal space. We break every chain, every assignment of the enemy, and every demonic stronghold in the name of Jesus.

Father, fill ### with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them. We ask that You reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold, whether through unforgiveness, sin, or ungodly influences, and lead them to repentance and restoration. Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, that they may be strengthened and empowered to stand firm in their faith.

Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that ### is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the fullness of Your love, joy, and peace, knowing that You are with them always. We trust in Your promise that "He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24 WEB). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and continue to resist the enemy through prayer, the Word of God, and fellowship with other believers. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:13-18), and do not give the devil any opportunity to regain a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:27). Surround yourself with godly counsel and support, and immerse yourself in Scripture, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105 WEB).

If there are areas in your life where you may have unknowingly opened doors to the enemy, such as through occult practices, unforgiveness, bitterness, or habitual sin, we encourage you to repent and turn away from these things. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse you, but we must also do our part to walk in holiness and obedience. "Therefore, since we have these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God" (2 Corinthians 7:1 WEB).

Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. You are not fighting for victory but from victory. Stand firm, dear one, and trust in the power of Jesus' name.

We hear the distress behind such a direct plea, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord right now. When spiritual oppression feels this real and present, it can be frightening and exhausting. We are not left without help, and we are not left to fight alone.

One thing we have learned walking alongside others in similar struggles is that the enemy often amplifies our fear, trying to make us feel surrounded and overwhelmed. But the name of Jesus, which you’re already calling on, is infinitely stronger. God’s Spirit in you is greater than any force that would come against you. You don’t need to muster a perfect prayer or a lengthy ritual, the simple, faith-filled cry you’ve already offered is powerful and heard.

As a practical way to anchor yourself when the sense of oppression crowds in, try focusing not first on commanding things to leave, but on quieting your heart before the presence of Jesus Himself. After you’ve sincerely asked Him to cleanse you and your space, turn toward filling that space with what is of Him. You might put on worship music you love, read a psalm out loud slowly, or simply sit and speak the name of Jesus gently in your mind until the internal noise grows quieter. Often, as we fix our eyes on Christ, His goodness, His finished victory, the darkness loses its grip, not because we fought it with our own strength, but because light simply displaces it.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this one who belongs to You. They have called on Your mighty name, and we stand with them now. By Your authority, we pray for their body and their home, quiet every voice that is not of You, break every chain of fear, and fill this entire space and every part of their being with Your perfect peace that surpasses understanding. Let them sense Your nearness, Your protection, and the safety that only You provide. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The request you bring is one that touches the very heart of the Gospel deliverance. You cry to be rid of unclean spirits, but let your faith lay hold upon this: the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses from all sin and breaks every fetter of darkness. There is a Fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and its streams are sufficient to purge both body and spirit. The Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, and He has already triumphed over them in His cross. Come, then, with no other plea, and trust that word which cannot fail: “He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.” The Lamb slain upon the tree is your ransom and your shield; look wholly to Him, and in His name you shall be free indeed.

The body of our humiliation, this frail vessel now subject to pain and decay, is promised a share in the body of His glory. Consider what glory is set before you: to be conformed to the likeness of Christ, who sits at the right hand of the Father, worshiped by the incorporeal Powers. If your whole frame were given over to demons yet you clung fast to this hope, what could they truly harm? The greater terror is not their presence but the souls departure from this calling. You pray for removal, but far more pray that your will be fixed on Him who subjects all things to Himself, for making the body incorruptible is a greater work than casting out a legion.

You speak of your body and your space. But what is the body? An instrument. It is not the body that lusts against the Spirit, but the earthly mind, the slothful soul that yields to careless desires. The demons cannot lodge where the will is firmly set on God. If you have received from God all His good things, do not then, like one who sings to the lyre at a feast, give place to them by an unsettled mind. Come before your King, not with bodily presence only, but with the mind. Fall at His knees with all gentleness and let the inner chamber be cleansed, for what is gained here must be preserved against the filth of the outer world.

Those Jewish exorcists took the name of Jesus upon their lips, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth, and the evil spirits answered, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? The name is not a charm, nor are these matters a trade. If you would be freed, let there be no secret truce with what you ask to be expelled. The way that leads to the kingdom is not found by those whose hearts are divided. Make your soul strong by work, not enfeebled by care for this life alone. The body that is ruined by luxury or anxiety produces low spirits, and low spirits open the door to a thousand pains.

Strive therefore to be a member of His body in deed and truth. The foot cannot say to the hand, I have no need of you, and the ear cannot deny the eye; how much less can a member of Christ cleave to what is contrary to Him? Let the assembly of the faithful be your pattern. Within these walls are hymns and psalms to the Lord of all; outside, the demons are exalted. Would you have your personal space cleared? Fill it with what belongs to heaven. Let your daily school be the word of God, as Paul argued in the hall of Tyrannus, and separate yourself from every hardening influence. The disease departs not chiefly by the laying on of a cloth but by the repentance that makes the soul a fit dwelling for the Spirit. Look to the hope of a better resurrection. Consider that if the saints refused deliverance from torture to obtain a better resurrection, you can refuse whatever dark companionship has crept in, not by terror, but by desire for the glory that surpasses it. Let this hope raise you up from whatever sluggishness has settled upon you, and the demons will find no place where the members of Christ are wholly His.

There is power in the name of Jesus to set the captive free, and the Scriptures are clear that He demonstrated absolute authority over unclean spirits. Mark repeatedly emphasizes that Jesus cast out many demons, and that same authority belongs to Him still. So pray with confidence that He can remove anything that does not belong and that He has not planted in your life.

At the same time, step back and recognize the deeper reality of who you are if you belong to Christ. The real you is not simply this body. The real you is spirit, and this body is an instrument, a vessel that God has given you to express yourself. When you were born again, the order changed. Before, the body ruled and the spirit was buried, driven by every appetite and need. Now, your spirit has been made alive, and your body must be brought under the discipline of the Spirit within you. Paul spoke about keeping his body under subjection, and that is the ongoing work of every believer. Your body enjoyed its old tyranny, and it does not like being displaced from the throne. So there is a fight to keep it from rising up to dominate again.

This fight involves what you do with the members of your body right now. The body is not for uncleanness. It is for the Lord. You have been bought with a price, and your body is now a temple of the Holy Spirit. Because of that, you cannot treat it as if it belongs to you to do whatever you please. The proper response is not just a prayer for removal, but a deliberate presentation. Offer your body to God as a living sacrifice. Yield your physical eyes, your hands, your mind, and every part of you as instruments of righteousness. Where you once yielded to what defiled, now choose consciously to yield to holiness. Sin will not have dominion over you as you actively place yourself under a new rule.

Remember too that you are not designed to fight this battle in isolation. You are a member of a larger body, the body of Christ. A lone member cut off from the rest of the body becomes an open target, without the strength, support, and interdependent life that God created for our protection. The ear cannot say to the eye that it has no need of it. We need one another. If a poison enters a physical body, the body must be strong enough to purge it, or death follows. In the same way, stay connected to the whole body of believers. Let others stand with you in prayer, lend you their faith when yours feels weak, and help you remain accountable. There is strength in that holy fellowship that helps purge out what would otherwise remain and spread.

So yes, resist the enemy with the authority given to you in Christ, but do not place every physical or mental struggle onto a demon. Our bodies live in a fallen world with real weaknesses, pressures, and limitations, and they groan under that weight. Your aim, whether in deliverance or in daily discipline, remains the same: that Christ would be glorified in your body. Live moment by moment with that as your consuming desire. Let all bondage go, walk in the newness of life He has given you, and lean on the body of Christ around you to see you through.
