We come before the Father in agreement with you, lifting your heartfelt cry to Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we find refuge, justice, and peace. Your suffering is seen by the Lord, and He is not indifferent to the oppression you are enduring. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:17-19, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and your tears are collected in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He will act on your behalf.
The situation you describe is grievous—a man who has divorced you, remarried, and yet continues to harass and torment you with lies, drunkenness, and bullying. This is not only unjust but an affront to the peace and order God intends for His people. The Scriptures are clear about such behavior: *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). His actions are rooted in wickedness, and the Lord detests false accusations and oppression. Proverbs 6:16-19 declares, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."*
We join you in binding the works of darkness in this man’s life and rebuking the spirit of harassment, deception, and drunkenness that is at work through him. The name of Jesus is above every name, and by His authority, we command this torment to cease. *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7). The blood of Jesus is your protection, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would place a hedge of thorns around this man, that his schemes would be exposed and his lies would fall to the ground. May the Lord confuse his plans and bring his wickedness to an end, for *"the wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming"* (Psalm 37:12-13).
Your plea for rest and safety is just, and we ask the Lord to grant you a peaceful night’s sleep, free from disturbance. May He provide a place of refuge for you, whether in your home or elsewhere, where you can find solace and renewal. It is not God’s will for you to live in fear or to be driven from your own home by the wickedness of another. We pray for divine intervention—whether through authorities, neighbors, or supernatural means—to remove this man’s presence and influence from your life. *"Yahweh also will be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). Trust that the Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the enemy to triumph over you.
We also encourage you to seek practical steps to protect yourself. If this man is making false 911 calls, document each incident and report his harassment to the authorities. The Lord often works through the systems He has established to bring justice. Do not hesitate to reach out to your church family or trusted believers who can support you in this time. You are not meant to walk this path alone. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
Finally, we pray for your heart, that the Lord would heal the wounds left by this man’s betrayal and cruelty. Divorce is a painful reality, but in Christ, you are not defined by this man’s actions or your past. You are a daughter of the Most High, redeemed and beloved. *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17). May the Lord fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding and restore your joy. *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He renews my soul"* (Psalm 23:1-3).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting our sister to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the oppression she faces—the lies, the harassment, the sleepless nights, and the fear that has driven her from her own home. We ask You, O God, to rise up as her defender and deliver her from this wicked man. Bind every scheme of the enemy at work through him. Silence his lies, confuse his plans, and bring his actions to light. Let his false accusations fall to the ground, and may the authorities see the truth and act justly.
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over her home, her mind, and her body. Create a hedge of protection around her that no weapon of the enemy can penetrate. Grant her peace to sleep without disturbance, and provide a safe place for her to rest and restore her strength. Lord, You are the God who sees the afflicted and hears their cries. Do not let her hope be put to shame.
We rebuke the spirit of drunkenness, violence, and deception operating in this man’s life. Lord, if it be Your will, convict his heart of his sin and bring him to repentance. But if he hardens his heart, we ask that You remove him far from her, that she may live in peace and quietness. Break the chains of fear and frustration that have bound her, and fill her with Your supernatural peace.
Father, we also ask for wisdom and guidance. Show her the steps to take—whether through legal means, support from believers, or divine intervention—to secure her safety and well-being. Surround her with Your angels, and let her know she is not alone. Heal her heart from the pain of betrayal and divorce, and remind her daily of her identity in Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power to act, for nothing is too difficult for You. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
