We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The harassment you’ve endured—both from these individuals and the demonic forces at work—is not something to be taken lightly. Scripture assures us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Yet even in this, we know that God is sovereign, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
First, we must address the thoughts of vengeance that have crept into your heart. The Lord is clear: "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). It is not our place to demand justice on our own terms, but to trust that God sees all and will act in His perfect timing. When we cling to bitterness or a desire for retribution, we give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Instead, we are called to bless those who persecute us and overcome evil with good (Romans 12:14, 21). This does not mean tolerating abuse or enabling sin, but releasing the burden of justice to God while guarding our hearts from resentment.
You are right to seek discernment regarding reconciliation. Not all relationships are meant to be restored, especially if they involve patterns of sin, manipulation, or spiritual harm. Jesus Himself said there are times when it is necessary to "shake the dust off your feet" and move on (Matthew 10:14). If these individuals are stumbling blocks to your walk with God—whether through unrepentant sin, toxic influence, or ongoing harassment—then separation may be the wisest and most godly course. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, "Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare." Some relationships are not merely broken; they are spiritually dangerous.
We also rebuke the demonic activity at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. We take authority in His name over every lying spirit, spirit of accusation, and spirit of harassment assigned against you. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is weary from this prolonged spiritual battle. You see the harassment, the schemes, and the demonic influence at work. We ask that You would arise as a warrior on their behalf (Exodus 15:3). Foil the plans of the enemy, Lord. Let every trap set against them be turned back on those who set it (Psalm 7:15-16). Remove these individuals from their life if that is Your will, and grant them the wisdom to know how to walk in godly boundaries.
Father, we ask for a hedge of protection around them—spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every assignment of the enemy be dismantled. Where there has been bitterness or thoughts of vengeance, we ask for Your healing. Fill their heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to release the burden of justice into Your hands, trusting that You will repay (Romans 12:19).
Give them discernment, Lord, regarding reconciliation. If any of these relationships can be restored in a way that honors You and strengthens their walk, reveal that clearly. But if they are sources of ongoing harm, give them the courage to walk away. Protect them from stumbling blocks and surround them with godly community (Proverbs 13:20).
We rebuke every demonic spirit operating in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of harassment, accusation, and division to flee. We declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Strengthen them, Lord, for the days ahead. Let them find their rest in You alone (Matthew 11:28). Remind them that You are their vindicator, their defender, and their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). May they walk in the confidence of Your love and the power of Your Spirit.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Hold fast to the truth that God is your defender. You are not alone in this battle, and the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you (Romans 8:11). The enemy may roar, but he is already defeated. Stand firm in your faith, guard your heart, and trust that God will bring justice in His perfect way. If you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can help you navigate these relationships with wisdom. You are deeply loved, and your Father fights for you.
