We hear your cry, "Remember me, Lord," and we join our hearts with yours in lifting this simple yet profound plea to our Heavenly Father. The very fact that you reach out to God in this way reveals a longing for His presence, His mercy, and His grace in your life. We want to remind you that God does not forget His children—He knows you intimately, even the number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30). Yet, we also understand that there are moments when we feel distant from Him, when the weight of life presses in, and we need to be reassured of His nearness.

Let us first address the foundation of our relationship with God. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we must begin there. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not confessed your sins, repented, and trusted in Jesus for your salvation, we urge you to do so today. Without this, our prayers cannot reach the throne of grace, for Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this dear soul who cries out, "Remember me, Lord." We thank You that You are a God who remembers Your promises, Your covenant, and Your children. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to this one who seeks You. Remind them of Your unfailing love, Your faithfulness, and Your presence that never leaves nor forsakes us (Deuteronomy 31:6). Father, if there are areas of sin, doubt, or unbelief in their life, we ask that You would reveal them and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and renew a steadfast spirit within them (Psalm 51:10).

Lord, we pray against any feelings of abandonment or loneliness. You have said in Your Word that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we claim that promise today. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your timing and Your plans, which are always for their good (Jeremiah 29:11). If there are burdens they are carrying—whether it be guilt, shame, fear, or sorrow—we ask that You would lift them and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we also pray for clarity and wisdom in their life. If there are decisions to be made, relationships to be mended or pursued, or paths to be chosen, we ask that You would guide them according to Your will. Help them to seek You first in all things, knowing that when they do, You will direct their steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). Lord, if they are struggling with sin—whether it be in their thoughts, actions, or relationships—we rebuke that sin in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would break any chains of bondage in their life. If they are entangled in sexual immorality, whether through fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, we pray for Your conviction and deliverance. Your Word is clear that such things are not Your design and lead to destruction (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Lead them to repentance and into the freedom that is found only in Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly influences—believers who will encourage them in their walk with You. If they are seeking a spouse, we pray that You would prepare them and their future husband or wife to be a godly match, one that honors You and reflects the love of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Guard their heart and mind, Lord, and help them to wait on You, knowing that Your plans are perfect.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life that is pleasing to You. May they bear fruit in every good work and grow in the knowledge of You (Colossians 1:10). Remind them daily that they are Your beloved child, and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your faithfulness to answer according to Your will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Dear one, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The fact that you cry out to Him is evidence of His work in your heart. The psalmist David often felt forgotten or abandoned, yet he always returned to the truth of God’s character. In Psalm 139:1-3, he writes, "Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways." God knows you completely, and He loves you deeply.

If you are feeling distant from God, we encourage you to spend time in His Word and in prayer. The Bible is alive and active, and it is through Scripture that God speaks to us (Hebrews 4:12). Begin with the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—to learn more about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Let His love and sacrifice for you sink deep into your heart. Additionally, surround yourself with a community of believers who can encourage you, pray for you, and hold you accountable. The Christian life was never meant to be walked alone.

If there are areas of sin in your life, do not hide them or try to justify them. Confess them to God, repent, and turn away from them. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Remember, repentance is not just feeling sorry for your sins—it is a turning away from them and walking in a new direction, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

We also want to gently remind you that God’s timing is perfect. If you are waiting for something—a spouse, a breakthrough, healing, or direction—trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways," says Yahweh. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Surrender your desires to Him, and ask Him to align your heart with His will.

Finally, hold fast to the promise that God remembers you. In Isaiah 49:15-16, He says, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands." You are never forgotten by God. He holds you in the palm of His hand, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep crying out to Him. He hears you, and He will answer in His perfect way and time.
