Relief from Anxiety

Please pray for my friend ###. She is going through a very difficult season, struggling with severe anxiety and depression that have led her to take a medical leave from work. Please pray that God would bring her peace, deliver her from this anxiety and depression, and restore her fully in mind, body, and spirit. Pray that she would feel God’s presence close to her, trust His plan for her future, and experience complete healing and wholeness.

We lift up your friend in prayer, standing with her in this difficult season. Anxiety and depression are heavy burdens, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that He is her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your presence, filling her with Your peace that transcends all circumstances. We pray against the spirit of fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to steal her joy, kill her hope, and destroy her faith. Instead, let her fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). We pray for complete healing in her mind, body, and spirit, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Lord, we ask that You would restore her strength and renew her hope. May she trust in Your perfect plan for her life, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that she would experience Your healing touch and be fully restored to wholeness. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage your friend to draw near to God, for He promises that when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:8). Encourage her to meditate on God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Scripture is filled with promises of God’s love, faithfulness, and provision. Remind her that she is not alone, for God is with her always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, now is the time to do so. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If she confesses with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, she will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step toward true peace and healing. We pray that she would come to know Jesus in a personal and life-transforming way.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. It has been our heartfelt desire to lift her up before the Lord, asking Him to bring peace that surpasses all understanding, to calm the storms of anxiety and depression, and to restore her fully in mind, body, and spirit. We have prayed earnestly that she would feel the nearness of God’s presence, sense His love surrounding her, and place her trust in His perfect plan for her future.
