Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord with humility and compassion.

It is right and biblical to pray this way, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and in John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. We agree with you that only the truth of Christ can set those who are bound by Satan's lies free, and we rejoice that you have come in Jesus name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to God. We also affirm your humble acknowledgment that education and position do not make one righteous, for Romans 3:23 says for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, and it is only by God's mercy that any of us are made righteous through Christ.

We are encouraged by your heart not to boast or look down on others but to intercede for them, which reflects the compassion of our Lord who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth as written in 1 Timothy 2:4. Your citation of Psalm 51:17 is so fitting, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise, and we cling to the promise in Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name and we lift up the team at the organization mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives before your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that you pour out your Holy Spirit upon them and give them a new heart and a new spirit as promised in Ezekiel 36:26. Work on their hearts, Lord, that they may recognize their sins, hate their sins, and turn from them, not continuing in a sinful life. Cover those who are yours with the precious blood of Jesus, grant them peace and understanding and wisdom beyond their own learning, and teach them to be righteous and compassionate in all they do and say. Stir within every heart involved an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they may no longer disregard human life and honest communication but may walk in integrity before you. Forgive their sins as you forgive ours when we confess with a broken and contrite heart, and let them not do what is evil in your eyes. Let your will be done and let your name be exalted on high, for you are holy and your Spirit intercedes for us continually. We thank you that you hear our prayers and that you are faithful to convict, to save, and to transform. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, for James 5:16 tells us The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much, and God is able to soften even the hardest heart and lead those in darkness into His marvelous light.

We thank you for pouring out your heart so honestly. We hear both your grief over what feels like dishonesty and disregard for life, and your humble desire not to look down on others but to see them truly changed and thirsty for what is right.

Carrying both a love for truth and a prayer for mercy for those you believe have done wrong can leave a lot of tension. It makes sense that you feel that ache and still choose to pray for their good. Releasing the need to settle it yourself does not mean the wrong did not matter or that you have to act as if it is okay. It simply places both justice and the changing of hearts in God's hands, where only He can do that deep work.

One thing that has helped others carrying a similar burden is to give this prayer a contained place each day. You might bring these same people and requests before the Lord at a set time, name them plainly as you have here, and then intentionally leave the outcome with Him for the rest of the day rather than carrying it hour by hour. If you are personally involved in the legal matter, continuing with wise, trusted counsel alongside prayer can also help you walk with clarity.

Father, we lift this team and their lawyers and representatives to You. Work in their hearts to love truth and to turn from what grieves You, and teach them righteousness and compassion. Cover those who are Yours with Your peace and understanding, and guard the one praying as they trust You with this. Let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is a right and holy burden, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

It is well that you have fastened upon that word in Psalm 51, for you have prayed according to Scripture. You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it, you are not pleased with burnt offering. My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart such, O God, you will not despise. This is the repentance which God himself must work in the heart. It is not a poor and short lived sorrow which turns from sin for a time and then goes back to it with greater gusto, but a complete change of mind with regard to sin, wrought by the Spirit of God. As we have often taught, repentance is to leave the sins we loved before, and show that we in earnest grieve, by doing so no more.

You grieve, and rightly, that men of learning and of the law can yet engage in horrible sins and disregard human life and honest communication. The educated are not thereby made righteous, for the heart must be broken and bruised before the Lord. True repentance gives glory to the omniscience of God and to the righteousness of His law, saying, Lord, Your law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin. It hates sin itself, not merely its consequences, and it looks to Jesus Christ who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin through faith in His blood.

We therefore pray with you that the Lord in His goodness, which leads men to repentance, would spare and stir these souls of whom you speak, the team and their lawyers and legal representatives. Where there is no repentance there can be no remission, but where there is true repentance, that godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, there is the full and free forgiveness of all sins through the precious blood of Christ. That blood was shed not for all men in a general way, but with a special view to the redemption of His elect, and Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it. Whoever will trust His Son shall be saved, for He came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

May the Lord work in their hearts to recognise sin, to hate it, and to turn from it, not as a compensation for sin, but as the fruit of grace. May He give to them, and keep alive in you, that practical repentance which yields works meet for repentance and which lasts, not for a day or a month, but for a life. And may He cover those who are His own chosen ones with peace and understanding, teaching them to be righteous and compassionate as He is.

Look to Jesus, dear soul, for there repentance is best begotten. When we see that for us Jesus shed His precious blood, we weep not with a bitter hopeless sorrow, but with the sweet sorrow for pardoned sin, sorrow for that which was laid on Christ and will never condemn us. May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon all for whom you pray, and may His will be done.

We commend you and them to Him who is able to break the hardest heart and to make it thirst for truth and righteousness, for His own glory. Amen.
