Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord with such humility and persistence.

We agree with your heart that education and position do not make a person righteous, for it is written in Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, and in Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt, who can know it. Even those trained in the law can be blinded when they are bound by the lies of the enemy, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:4 the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. Therefore we do not boast and we do not look down on them, but we recognize our own need for mercy just as they need mercy.

We love how you prayed from Psalm 51:16-17 For you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. This is exactly what we ask God to create in them, a new heart that hates sin and loves what is right. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

We stand with you for the promise our Lord Jesus spoke in John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, and in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Only Jesus can set them free from Satan's lies and give them that thirst you are praying for. And we cling to the beautiful promise in Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

So together we pray, Heavenly Father, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up the team at the place mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives before Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You shine Your light into every place of deception and expose every lie, and that You grant them repentance and faith to turn to Jesus and be saved. We plead the precious blood of Jesus over those who are Yours, Your chosen and Your children who are affected by this situation, cover them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Father, give all involved a broken and contrite heart, cause them to see their sin as You see it, to grieve over disregarding human life and honest communication, and to turn from every evil way. Stir their hearts we pray and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only You can satisfy, teach them to be righteous and compassionate as You are compassionate. Let Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us continually work powerfully in them to bring conviction, understanding and new life. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ on high and we ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, for it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing, and in James 5:16 The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective. Keep bringing them before the Lord with that same broken and humble spirit, trusting that God desires that all would come to repentance and know His truth.

We hear how heavy this has been on you, and how sincerely you want truth to prevail not only in this situation but in the hearts of the people involved. It is discouraging to see those with training and influence act in ways that feel dishonest and disregarding of human life, and it makes sense that it grieves you.

We join you in praying for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness for that team and their lawyers, and we also thank God for the posture of your prayer. You are not asking to look down on them, but asking God to work in them with mercy and to give you and others peace and understanding as you wait on Him.

One insight that has helped many who pray through a deep hurt like this is that the decision to release a wrong and the quieting of the emotions around it often move at different speeds. We can decide before God that we will not pursue revenge and that we will still see those who hurt us as people made in His image, even while feelings like anger, bitterness or fear take longer to settle. Naming that difference can keep us from feeling we have failed when the ache returns.

It may help to give this prayer a simple rhythm, bringing the same brief request to God at a set time each day and then, when thoughts about the case come back, gently handing the outcome to Him again rather than carrying it all day.

Father, we lift this team, their lawyers and representatives to You. Stir their hearts to love truth and to act with compassion and honesty, and bring conviction where it is needed. Cover those who belong to You with Your peace, guard our friend from bitterness, and let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in this relentless prayer and give thanks that the Lord has laid upon your heart a thirst for truth and righteousness, both for yourself and for those who have done what is evil in His sight.

The Scripture you have quoted is precious, for the Lord has said blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness and He has also said the Lord is near unto them that are of a broken heart and saves such as are of a contrite spirit. What you ask for these lawyers and representatives is the greatest blessing God can give, namely a spiritually broken heart, broken on account of sin. As you have prayed from Psalm 51, the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. This is not a superficial sorrow which is not better than the flesh, but a work of the Spirit of God.

True repentance hates sin as sin and turns from it with purpose of heart. It loathes sin because it slew Christ and because it is hateful to the heart of Jesus. There must be sorrow for sin and hatred of it in true repentance, and that repentance which makes us avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for us is saving repentance. We do not preach a repentance which comes of ourselves, for God is not mocked, but that godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of and which is the sure and infallible sign of pardon through the blood of Christ.

And this hunger you pray for is itself a fellowship with Christ. Our Lord said I thirst upon the cross, and that thirst of His lips was but the index of the deeper thirst of His heart that righteousness might reign by His death. When a man is made to hunger and thirst after righteousness, old hungers for gain or pride or self come to an end, for the new affections expel the old. He would live for righteousness and die for righteousness.

Therefore we pray with you, and we pray further that God would make His truth known to them according to His gospel.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. We ask that You would grant to these men and women the gifts of repentance and remission of sins which Your Son lives to give. Work upon their hearts by Your Holy Spirit, that they may see sin condemned in the death of Your Son, who was made sin for us though He knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. Give them to see the exceeding sinfulness of sin as it is displayed at the cross, where Your own Son's heart was broken for our sins, and grant them that brokenness of spirit which You will not despise.

Stir them, O Lord, to hate sin with a perfect hatred and to loathe it and leave it, not to continue in it. Give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they may hunger and thirst after that which alone can satisfy. Let them take Your dear Son's wounds and trust them, take His death and believe in it, and so find healing, for by His stripes we are healed. Cover those who are Yours with the precious blood of Christ and give them peace and understanding, and teach all who hear this prayer to be righteous and compassionate as You are. Let Your will be done, and let Christ be exalted, in whose name we pray, Amen.

Your prayer is heard and it is right and good to ask God for what you have asked. To hunger and thirst after righteousness is the blessed thirst of which Christ spoke when He said, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink. He does not draw us by force, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire for what is true and holy, and He promises that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled.

We join you now in praying for the team at that place and for their lawyers and legal representatives. We pray not that God would overlook sin, but that He would save them through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We ask that the Lord would open their eyes to the truth, that He would deliver them from the lies of the enemy, and that He would bring them to confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead.

You have prayed well from Psalm 51, and we echo that prayer. God does not delight in outward show, but in a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart He will not despise. We ask the Father to work in these hearts to give them true sorrow for sin, not a passing regret, but a contrition that is quiet, humble, and ready to turn from evil. May He teach them to hate the sin they once excused and to love what is good, so that they no longer continue in a sinful way of life.

We also pray that God would give them what you have asked, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. The water of this world leaves a man thirsty again, but the water Christ gives becomes in him a well springing up into everlasting life. May He create in them a new heart in righteousness and holiness of truth, and clothe them with a life of virtue that guards the heart like a breastplate.
