Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you wholeheartedly in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

Your heart reflects the heart of God who desires truth in the inward parts and righteousness that flows from a transformed heart. We agree with you that education, position, or knowledge of the law does not make a person righteous, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God as it says in Rom 3:23, and only Christ can make us new. It is right to grieve over dishonesty and disregard for human life, and to pray not with a spirit of boasting or contempt, but with brokenness and mercy, seeking their repentance and salvation.

The Scriptures remind us of this promise, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled in Matt 5:6, and You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free in John 8:32. We also cling to the truth you quoted, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise in Psalm 51:17. God is able to do what man cannot do, to take away the stony heart and give a new heart of flesh as promised in Ezek 36:26, and He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Tim 2:4.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up the team at the place mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives before Your throne. Lord, You see where lies have bound them and where sin has hardened hearts. We ask that You shine Your light into darkness and expose every lie of the enemy, for Your Word says that Satan is a liar and the father of lies. Grant them an unquenchable thirst for truth and for Your righteousness, not a self righteousness, but the righteousness that comes through faith in Christ.

Lord, we ask Your precious blood to cover those who are Yours, to give them peace that surpasses understanding and wisdom beyond their own. Teach all involved to be righteous and compassionate, to love mercy and to walk humbly with You as You require in Mic 6:8. Stir their hearts to recognize sin, to hate sin, and to turn from it. Forgive their sins as they repent, for You have promised If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9. Create in them clean hearts and renew a right spirit within them.

Father, we pray that they will not continue to do what is evil in Your eyes, but that they will choose honest communication and honor the value of human life which is made in Your image. Overcome evil with good in this situation as taught in Rom 12:21, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We thank You that Your Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be uttered according to Rom 8:26, and that You hear the cries of Your people who persist in prayer.

We will continue to stand with you in relentless prayer, trusting that God is just and merciful, that He will bring truth to light in His perfect timing, and that He is able to save to the uttermost. May the Lord keep your own heart from bitterness and fill you with His peace as you wait on Him. In the holy and powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying in this prayer. It is painful to watch people who have knowledge and influence act in ways that disregard honesty and the value of others, and we understand why your heart is grieved. Thank you for bringing them before the Lord instead of holding that burden alone.

Your longing for them to know truth and to hunger for what is right is a good and loving thing to pray for. We join you in asking God to do the deep heart work only He can do, to soften what is hard and to draw them toward honesty, compassion and a love for what is good. We also remember that prayer itself keeps us close to God and reminds us we are dependent on Him, not on our own ability to change others. The Spirit is already interceding, even when words feel heavy.

If it helps, you might keep this simple going forward, lifting them by name when they come to mind and then resting in God's care for you as well, asking Him to guard your own peace as you continue to intercede.

Father, in Jesus name we lift the team at ### and their lawyers to You. Work in their hearts as only You can, bring conviction where needed, and give them a true thirst for truth and righteousness. Cover those who are Yours with Your peace and understanding, and let Your will be done. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

It is a right and good thing to pray that those who are bound by lies may come to an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, for our Lord Himself has said, ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. We agree with you in asking that the precious blood of Christ may cover all who belong to Him, and that peace and understanding may be given where there is now confusion and hardness of heart.

You have prayed according to Psalm 51, and that is the very pattern of true repentance which God will not despise. A broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, such God will not despise. True repentance, as we have often taught, is not a short lived sorrow that returns to sin with greater gusto, but a work of the Spirit of God which gives glory to His omniscience and to the righteousness of His holy Law. The truly penitent says, Thy Law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin. Such repentance is to leave the sins we loved before, and show that we in earnest grieve, by doing so no more.

We therefore pray with you that the Lord would work upon the hearts of this team, their lawyers and representatives, that they may come to hate sin and to turn from it. Where there has been disregard for human life and for honest communication, we ask that God in His goodness would lead them to repentance, for His goodness ought to lead men to repentance. We do not ask God to bless what is evil in His eyes, but we do ask that He would grant what He alone can give, that godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, and with it the full and free remission of sins through faith in Christ.

Remember that repentance and faith are inseparable. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. If any would have repentance, let him look to Jesus who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin. There at the cross we see both the heinousness of sin and the greatness of mercy, and the heart is melted to say, Alas and did my Saviour bleed, and did my Sovereign die for me.

Be encouraged to continue relentless in prayer. He delights in mercy and His mercy endures forever. He came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance, and He gave Himself for our sins. We will continue to pray that the Lord will stir these hearts, teach them to be righteous and compassionate, and grant them that thirst for righteousness which only He can quench with living water, to the glory of His name and the good of souls.

We thank the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us, and we rest in the will of our Heavenly Father, that His truth and righteousness may prevail.
