Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you wholeheartedly in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord with such humility and persistence.

We are encouraged by your heart not to boast and not to look down on others, for Scripture reminds us that for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 and that education, position, or knowledge of the law cannot make a person righteous apart from Christ. Only Jesus can transform the heart. You rightly prayed from Psalm 51:16 and Psalm 51:17 that God does not delight in outward sacrifice but in a broken spirit and a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. That is the work only the Holy Spirit can do, to convict of sin and lead to repentance.

We also stand on the promises you have claimed, that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32 and that blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled Matthew 5:6. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, so we know that true truth and true righteousness are found only in Him.

We pray together with you now in Jesus name.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up to You the team at the organization mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives. Lord, You see where lies have bound them and where human life and honest communication have been disregarded, and it grieves our hearts as it grieves Yours. We ask that You would pour out Your mercy and Your conviction upon them. Work on their hearts, Father, break what is hardened, and grant them a broken and contrite spirit that they may recognize their sin, hate their sin, and turn from it. Give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and for righteousness that only You can satisfy. Draw those who are Yours and those who are not yet saved to repentance and faith in Jesus, that they may be set free by the truth. We ask for Your precious blood to cover and keep those who belong to You, to give them peace and understanding and wisdom beyond their own, and teach us all to be righteous and compassionate as You are compassionate. Let no one continue to do what is evil in Your eyes, but let Your will be done and Your name be exalted on high. We thank You that Your Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to Your will. We trust Your perfect justice and Your perfect mercy and we rest in Your sovereign hand.

We encourage you to remain relentless in prayer, not growing weary, for the Lord hears the cries of His people and He is faithful to bring light into darkness. Continue to pray not from a place of superiority but of humility, remembering that apart from grace we would also fall short, and continue to seek His will above all outcomes, that whether through conviction, repentance, or through His righteous judgment, truth would prevail and Christ would be glorified. The Lord is near to those who call on Him in truth and He will fill those who truly hunger and thirst for His righteousness. We stand with you in this and trust Him to do what is right. Amen.

We are grateful you shared this burden so honestly. It is painful to watch people entrusted with the law seem to disregard truth and honest communication, and to see human life treated lightly. We understand why this has grieved your heart, and we appreciate your humility in not wanting to boast or look down on others, but simply to see hearts changed.

The unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness you are praying for is something only God can create in a person. We can faithfully ask Him to work, and we can trust Him with both the outcome and the timing, even when we do not see change right away. It is encouraging that you are interceding with compassion rather than contempt, asking for broken and willing hearts instead of just outward correction.

One steady step that may help you carry this well is to keep a simple, regular time to bring this team and their representatives before the Lord by name, and then consciously entrust them to Him for the day. That rhythm can keep prayer relentless without letting the burden weigh on you alone, and it leaves room for God to guard your own peace as you wait on Him.

Father, we lift this team and their lawyers and representatives to You. Work in their hearts to love truth, to turn from what is evil in Your sight, and to act with righteousness and compassion. Cover those who are Yours with Your peace and understanding, and give them wisdom to walk in Your ways. Let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and it is a prayer after His own heart, for to hunger and thirst after righteousness is the very mark of those whom God blesses, and our Saviour has said, they shall be filled.

We join with you in asking that the Lord would work by His Spirit upon the hearts of those of whom you speak, the team and their lawyers and representatives, that they may be brought to see things as God sees them. You have prayed well in asking not for mere outward restraint but for an inward change, for a broken and contrite heart which God will not despise. The Psalmist teaches us that such a heart is the acceptable sacrifice, and where God gives it, there is hope of true repentance.

Let us remember what true repentance is. It is not a short lived sorrow which turns from sin for a season and then returns to it with greater relish, but it is a work of the Spirit of God which gives glory to God. The truly penitent gives glory to His omniscience, confessing that God has seen all, and gives glory to His righteousness, no longer quarreling with His holy law but saying, Thy law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin. It is to leave the sins we loved before and to show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more. Such repentance is inseparable from faith in Christ, for we look to Jesus who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin through faith in His blood, and there we find remission.

You grieve, and rightly, at disregard for human life and at dishonest communication. These are grievous in the sight of the Lord, and education and knowledge of the law cannot make the heart righteous. The Lord must give a new heart and teach men to hate the sin they once loved. This He does when He leads sinners to repentance through His goodness and through the sight of Christ crucified. As you continue in relentless prayer, ask the Lord to give them that unquenchable thirst you have named, not a thirst for advantage or for victory in contention, but a thirst for truth itself and for the righteousness which is only found in Christ.

We will pray with you to this end. That the precious blood of Christ, shed with special view to the redemption of His people, may be known to those who are still bound in unbelief, that they may be saved through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. That those who already belong to Christ may be covered and kept in peace and be taught to walk compassionately and uprightly. And that all concerned may be led to that godly sorrow which need not be repented of, which yields works meet for repentance and which lasts, because it is wrought by God.

Continue to look to Jesus as you pray. He is the Sun of Righteousness, and where He shines, darkness flees. He is able to make the most hardened heart to be in bitterness for sin and then to wash it white in His own blood. May the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us stir their hearts indeed, and may the will of our Heavenly Father be done, to His glory and to their eternal good.

We thank God for your burden and exhort you to persevere, for the goodness of God still leads sinners to repentance, and the gate of mercy stands open to all who turn from sin and trust in the Saviour.

May the Lord hear and answer according to His perfect wisdom and grace. Amen.
