Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we agree with you before the Father in Jesus name for those who are bound by lies and for those who need the covering of His blood.

Your heart to see truth prevail and righteousness established is pleasing to God, for it is written, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32 and also, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matt 5:6. We share your burden for the team you mentioned and for their lawyers and legal representatives, and we bring them before the throne of grace, asking that God would open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light.

We are reminded that education and position do not make a person righteous, and you have wisely acknowledged that we cannot expect the educated to act righteously apart from God. As it is written, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might. Jer 9:23 and, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. 1 Cor 1:19. True wisdom and justice come only from the Lord, and we pray that He would give them what no law degree can give, a new heart. As you quoted from Psalm 51:17, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. We pray with you that God would do exactly that work. We ask that He would fulfill His promise, I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. Ezek 36:26.

We also hear your grief over the disregard for human life and honest communication, and we bring that grief to the Lord who loves truth and justice. He calls us to pray for all people, including those who may oppose us or act unjustly, for we are taught, I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim 2:1-4. And we are commanded to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us. Matt 5:44. Your prayer to forgive their sins and to keep them from doing evil in His eyes reflects that Christlike compassion, and we stand with you in it, trusting vengeance to God alone, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. Rom 12:19.

We thank you for praying so clearly in the name of Jesus, for it is only by that name that we have access to the Father and it is only by that name we are saved, as it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Tim 2:5 and, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.

So together we pray, Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we ask You to pour out Your Spirit upon the team and the lawyers and legal representatives we have lifted up. Break through the lies of the enemy with Your truth. Give them a broken and contrite heart that hates sin and turns from it. Cover those who are Yours with the precious blood of Jesus and grant them peace and understanding that surpasses all comprehension. Teach all involved to be righteous and compassionate, to love truth and to do justice. Stir their hearts, Lord, and create in them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, that they may hunger for what is right and be filled by You. We thank You that Your Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Rom 8:26. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust this matter into Your holy and just hands and we will not grow weary in praying, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Gal 6:9. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear the burden in your prayer for truth to prevail, and we are grateful you brought this before the Lord instead of carrying it alone. It is painful to watch people who know the law use words and influence in ways that seem to disregard honesty and human dignity, and we understand why that grief has pressed you to intercede so earnestly.

What you named is right at the center, a thirst for truth and righteousness that only God can create in a heart. Education and position cannot produce it. We can bring the light of what is true and compassionate, but lasting change, a broken and willing heart that turns from wrong and loves what is right, is the work of God himself. That is why your prayer for the team at ### and their representatives matters. You are asking the One who can actually reach the heart to do what we cannot.

One simple way to stay steady in this is to keep your intercession focused and entrusted. As the Spirit is already interceding, you might set aside a brief time each day to lift these individuals by name as God brings them to mind, asking for salvation where there is unbelief and for a growing love of truth and mercy where there is faith, and then consciously place the outcome in the Father's hands rather than holding the weight of results yourself.

Father, we lift this legal team and all involved to You in Jesus' name. Where there is deception, bring truth. Where there is hardness, give a contrite heart that hates sin and loves righteousness. Cover Your people with Your peace and understanding, teach us all to walk in compassion, and let Your will be done. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer is right and good before the Lord, for you ask for that which He delights to give, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

It is written that the truth shall set you free, and the Scriptures teach us that God would have men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. These two things go together. There is no salvation apart from knowing the truth as it is in Jesus Christ, and there is no true knowledge of the truth which does not save from false confidences and from despair. Salvation is not in man, nor in all the feelings and prayings and good works which zeal could crowd together. It is in Christ alone, in His precious blood shed for sinners, and when the heart comes to know this truth, then it is saved indeed. To trust Him, and the work is done, and you shall know the truth of His salvation.

You have prayed well in quoting the Psalm, for you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it, You are not pleased with burnt offering. My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Take care to weigh what true repentance is. Beware of that repentance which is not better than the vomit of a dog, and beware of a superficial repentance, for the Lord abhors it. True repentance hates sin as sin and turns from it with purpose of heart. It loathes the poison that was once sweet, and leaves it. It gives God glory. It stands at the Cross and sees sin forgiven through the great finished work of Christ, and then repents more than ever because it sees how sin wounded Christ who was nailed to the Cross for it. Faith and repentance are inseparable. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart must go together.

Therefore we join you in praying for these souls, the team and their lawyers and legal representatives, that the Lord Jesus Christ who lives to give repentance and remission of sins, and who lives to make intercession for transgressors, would work in them by His Holy Spirit. May He who hovers as a dove over the assemblies of His people alight upon hearts that are yet hard, and bring light and peace and true belief and true repentance. May He show them their sinnership, for if there is no truth in our sinnership there can be no truth in Christ's salvation to us, and then may He show them the real atonement, that Christ was evidently crucified for sinners and is mighty to save and to do for them what they cannot do for themselves. We do not ask God to bless sin or to excuse disregard for human life and honest communication, but we ask Him to forgive sin through the blood of Christ and to teach hearts to be righteous and compassionate, to love truth and to hate every false way.

Be of good courage as you pray, for He who binds up broken hearts still cares for those who have contrite spirits, and He still sympathizes with those who grieve over sin. He has heard your cry, and His Holy Spirit intercedes according to the will of God. Continue to give the Lord no rest till He creates that thirst for righteousness which only He can satisfy, and till these for whom you pray, if it be His gracious will, turn with broken hearts to Him who alone can heal them. Let His will be done, and let His name be exalted on high in Jesus Christ. Amen.

We join you in bringing this burden before the Lord and we say amen to your prayer for a thirst for truth and righteousness.

You have prayed well, for Scripture says blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, and Christ Himself stood and cried, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink. He does not draw by force or constraint, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire for Him. So we pray with you that God would kindle in these lawyers and representatives and in all who are entangled in lies, a true thirst that will not be satisfied by argument or worldly wisdom, but only by drinking deeply of Christ and His living water, which becomes within a person a well springing up into everlasting life.

You have also prayed according to Psalm 51, and rightly, for God does not delight in outward sacrifice alone, but in a broken spirit and a contrite heart which He will not despise. Such a heart does not rise up to strike or to justify itself, but is quiet under reproof and ready to turn from sin. We ask the Lord to grant this gift, for it is God who gives the contrite and humbled heart, sober and watchful and full of repentance. We pray that He would work in their hearts to convict them of sin, to make them hate the sin they once excused, and to turn from disregarding truth and human life toward honest communication and mercy.

We pray too for righteousness, not the mere outward form that the law can teach, but righteousness and holiness of truth, which comes through faith in Christ and new birth. And we pray that those who are already chosen in Christ would be covered by His precious blood, kept in peace and understanding, and clothed with the breastplate of righteousness, which is a life of universal virtue that no adversary can pierce.

We do not boast and we do not look down on any, for all have fallen short of the glory of God and all need the same Savior. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, confessing with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. So we continue to ask that the Father would save those who are still bound in darkness, forgive their sins for Christ's sake, and teach all of us to be compassionate as He is compassionate.

We will keep praying with you that the Holy Spirit would stir these hearts, grant repentance that leads to life, and give an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness until they are filled in Christ. Let the will of the Father be done, in the name of Jesus our Lord, amen.
