Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join with you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we thank you for coming to the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We hear your burden for the team at ### and for their lawyers and legal representatives, and we agree that those who are bound by lies need the freedom that only Christ can give. You have prayed rightly that the truth shall set them free, for Jesus said, You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. John 8:32. And He also said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. Our prayer is that the veil would be lifted from their eyes, for the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ should not dawn on them. 2 Corinthians 4:4.

We also join you in praying for those who are chosen and who are in Christ, that the precious blood of Jesus would cover them and keep them. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness, and we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. We ask the Lord to give them peace that passes all understanding and wisdom to walk in righteousness and compassion even when surrounded by dishonesty and disregard for human life.

You have rightly observed that education and knowledge of the law do not make a person righteous. For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23. We cannot expect the educated to act righteously apart from a transformed heart, and we must not boast or look down on others, for we too were once in darkness and only by grace have we been saved. We humbly acknowledge with you that only God can change the heart.

We love your reference to Psalm 51:16-17, For you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. And as you recalled, Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams. 1 Samuel 15:22. This is the work we are asking God to do, to grant a broken and contrite heart that hates sin and turns from it, not mere outward religion.

We pray together now for that unquenchable thirst. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6. Father, we ask in the name of Jesus that You would stir the hearts of these lawyers and all involved, that You would convict them of sin and grant them repentance. Forgive their sins as they turn to You, and keep them from doing any more evil in Your eyes. Give them a deep hunger for what is true and right, a thirst that cannot be satisfied by lies or by gain, but only by Your righteousness. Teach them to love truth, to honor honest communication, and to value every human life as made in Your image.

We thank You for Your holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26. We trust that You are working even when we cannot see, and we ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We continue steadfast in prayer, knowing that the prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective, and we exalt the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we pray, amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying as you keep praying for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, especially for that team and their lawyers. Watching people who are educated and entrusted with the law act in ways that feel dishonest and careless with human life is deeply disheartening, and it makes sense your heart feels grieved. We noticed the humility in your prayer too, not wanting to boast or look down on them while still honestly naming the wrong.

We are grateful you are turning that grief into intercession. Choosing to ask God to soften hearts, to bring a hatred for sin, and to cover and steady those who are trying to walk rightly is a meaningful way to handle the injustice you have seen. That settled decision to want good for others and to leave justice in God's hands often comes before our emotions fully catch up, and it is normal for hurt, anger or disappointment to linger even while you have decided to pray for them. Be gentle with yourself in that process.

It can help to give this burden a simple rhythm so it does not consume you, perhaps a brief honest prayer at the same time each day for those hearts to be drawn toward truth and compassion, and then intentionally entrusting the outcome to the Holy Spirit who is already interceding.

Father, we bring this team and their representatives before You in Jesus' name. Work in their hearts to love truth and to turn from what is evil in Your eyes, and keep those who are Yours under Your peace and understanding. Let Your will be done, amen.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is a blessed hunger of which you speak, for our Saviour Himself has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. This is no common appetite. When the soul truly hungers for righteousness, trifles become trifles, and the essential Truth of God becomes its only care. The world thirsts for gold and pride and pleasure, but to thirst for truth and righteousness is to have fellowship with Christ Himself, who cried, I thirst, and whose deeper thirst was that righteousness might reign by His death. He was pierced for men that righteousness might be vindicated, and He now lives to pray for sinners.

You have prayed rightly that the hearts of those who deal in the law, and of all who are entangled in Satan's lies, might be broken before God. The Scripture you have quoted is our hope, that a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. You do not delight in outward sacrifice, but in a heart yielded wholly to Him. We cannot give Christ a piece of a heart, for a heart that is halved is killed, and yet He says, Give Me your heart, My son, not for what He may get from us, but for love of us and for our blessedness. Though the heart be foul and filthy, He still says, Give Me your heart, that He may wash it in His precious blood and make it new.

We pray with you that the Lord would work this work in them. May He grant them to loathe sin and to hate it, and then to find immediate pardon for the sake of the great atoning Sacrifice. God can never punish Christ for sin and then lay that sin to the account of the sinner who trusts Him, for the Substitute has already gone to the wars for His people. May those for whom you intercede come to know the Truth of God for themselves, for Christ Himself is the Truth, and the truth shall set you free when it is fully believed. That Truth, when received into an open heart, brings peace and joy.

We also pray for those who are chosen and are in Christ, that the Lord would cover them and keep them. He alone can strengthen the heart, and He has promised, Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the Lord. Where the heart is weak, every other part is affected, but the Lord preserves the faithful and plentifully rewards those who trust Him. May He give to His people peace and understanding, and teach them to be righteous and compassionate, putting their whole heart into His work.

Be encouraged to continue in relentless prayer. The Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us, and Christ lives to intercede for sinners. May the Lord stir every heart concerned to seek first His righteousness, and may He fill all who hunger and thirst after it, for His own glory. We commend you and all those named in your supplication to His mercy and grace.

Let your will be done, O Father, for Christ's sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is right and good, and we join with you in it before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

You have asked well for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. The Lord Himself said, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink, and He promised that he who believes on Him shall have rivers of living water flowing from within. As thirsty men eagerly take a bowl and drink until they are satisfied, so we must come to the divine teaching with that same longing, never weary until we have received it. Scripture also says, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. This is not a casual wish but a deep hunger like that for food and drink, and God promises to fill those who seek righteousness in this way. We pray with you that God will kindle this very hunger in the hearts of the team at that company and in their lawyers and representatives.

You have prayed rightly that they may be saved and set free, for the truth shall set you free, and there is salvation in no other name than Jesus. We pray that they will confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, for so it is written that we shall be saved. We ask that the word of faith may be near them, and that they may turn from lies and from whatever is evil in the eyes of God.

You also remembered that God does not delight only in outward sacrifice, but in a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart God will not despise. Such a heart does not rise up in pride or seek vengeance, but is quiet and ready to be corrected. We pray as you have prayed that God will work on their hearts to bring this true brokenness, that they may recognize sin, hate it, and turn from living in it. True righteousness and holiness are not merely a matter of knowing the law or being educated, but of being made new in Christ in righteousness and holiness of truth. The righteousness that God gives is like a breastplate, impenetrable, a life of universal virtue that guards the heart. We pray that they may put on that breastplate and learn to act with compassion and honesty, regarding human life and speaking truthfully.

We do not boast and we do not look down on them, for all have fallen short of the glory of God. But we do pray with you that God will stir them, forgive their sins through the blood of Christ for those who repent and believe, and grant them peace and understanding. May He teach them to love what is right and to thirst for what is true, so that the water He gives may become in them a well springing up into everlasting life.

We will continue to pray relentlessly with you for this, asking that the Holy Spirit will intercede and that the will of the Father be done. May the Lord grant you also perseverance in prayer and a continual thirst for His righteousness, and may He answer according to His mercy and wisdom in Christ. Amen.
