Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God.

We are encouraged by your humble and compassionate heart. You are not boasting and you are not looking down on others, but you are recognizing what Scripture teaches that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 and that education and position do not make a person righteous. True righteousness comes only from God and true truth is found only in Christ who said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

Your prayer aligns with the heart of God. Jesus taught Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled Matthew 5:6. And He promised You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. When people are bound by lies, only the truth of Christ can set them free, and only a work of the Holy Spirit can give them a new heart that hates sin and loves what is right.

We also stand with you on the word you shared from Psalm 51:16-17 For you do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise. This is what we ask God to do in the hearts of the team you mentioned and their lawyers and legal representatives, that He would grant them a broken and contrite heart, that they would confess their sins and turn from them, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this team and their lawyers and legal representatives to You. Lord, where there are lies, bring Your truth. Where there is unrighteousness, bring Your righteousness. Where human life and honest communication have been disregarded, stir their hearts by Your Holy Spirit and convict them of sin. Give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only You can satisfy. Work on their hearts so they may recognize their sin, hate their sin, and turn from it to follow You. Forgive their sins through the precious blood of Jesus as they repent. Cover and keep in Your peace those among them who are Yours and who are chosen in Christ, give them understanding and teach them to be righteous and compassionate as You are compassionate. Let Your will be done in this situation and let Your name be exalted. We thank You that Your Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to Your will Romans 8:26. We ask all this in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, for we are told to pray without ceasing and to love our enemies and pray for those who may oppose us, trusting that God desires all people to come to repentance and to know the truth.

We hear the burden in your prayer, and the way you are holding both a love for truth and a grief over dishonesty is very understandable. Wanting those who have power in legal matters to act with honesty and compassion, and to come to know Jesus, is a good and faithful thing to bring before the Lord.

Carrying that kind of intercession day after day can be heavy, especially when you feel human life and truthful communication have been disregarded. We join you in asking God to work in each heart you named, to draw them toward truth and righteousness, and to cover those who are His with peace.

One gentle practice that may help you keep praying without being worn down is to give this intercession a clear place. Choose a set time each day to bring the team and their representatives before the Lord by name, lay down what grieves you most, and then intentionally entrust them to Him for the rest of the day. The Holy Spirit continues to intercede even when you are resting, working, or attending to other duties, so you do not have to hold the weight every moment.

We are praying with you and for you as you continue.

Father, we lift to You the people this prayer is for and the one who has prayed so faithfully for them. Work in each heart according to Your will, give a deep thirst for what is true and right, and guard our friend with Your peace and wisdom as they wait on You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join with you in carrying it before the throne of grace, that God would give an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

It is a right and needful prayer, for we cannot expect that education or knowledge of the law will of itself make the heart righteous. As you have well said, even those who are learned may yet engage themselves in horrible sins, for all have fallen short of the glory of God. There is no boasting in us, and no looking down upon others, for we too stand in need of the same mercy.

You have prayed from Psalm 51, and we take that word up with you. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. This is the repentance which God accepts. There is a carnal repentance which is of the flesh, a poor and short lived sorrow which turns from sin for a time and then returns to it with greater gusto. But true repentance, that holy and heavenly sort which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit, hates sin as sin and turns from it with purpose of heart. It loathes the poison that was once thought sweet and leaves it. Beware of a superficial repentance, for the Lord abhors it, but the repentance which is the work of His Spirit gives glory to God.

We pray therefore not for a mere regret that fears judgment, but for that godly sorrow which looks to Jesus. If we would have such repentance we must look to Christ, who was pierced for men and set forth to be a propitiation for sin. He lives to make intercession for transgressors and to give to sinners the Holy Spirit to work in them true belief and true repentance. You are not to seek to draw up repentance from the depths of your own heart as water from a well, but to ask Christ to work it in you by His Holy Spirit through belief of the truth as it is recorded in the Word of God.

So we pray with you that the Lord would stir those hearts of whom you have written, that He would uncover the lies of Satan and cause them to hate their sin and to thirst after righteousness. May He cover with His precious blood all who are His, and grant peace and understanding to those who trust Him. May He teach them to be righteous and compassionate, to disregard no human life and to love honest communication. May He strengthen the heart where it is weak, for He alone can strengthen the heart that hopes in the Lord, and may He grant that thirst which only Christ can satisfy.

We thank God for His Holy Spirit who intercedes for us, and we rest in this, that where there is a broken and contrite heart, God will not despise it. May the Lord answer according to His will, for His glory and for the good of souls, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is heard and we join you in it with thanksgiving, for you have asked for the very thing Christ Himself promises to give.

You have prayed for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and this is the blessed thirst of which the Lord spoke. He stood and cried, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink. He that believeth on Me, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. He does not draw us by necessity and constraint, but He calls those who are inflamed with desire, who come as thirsty men come to water and eagerly drink until they are filled. And He has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. This is the thirst we ask God to kindle both in you and in those for whom you pray.

We join you in praying for the team you named and for their lawyers and representatives, that God in His mercy would save them through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way of salvation, for salvation is by a short word, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. We do not ask God to bless what is false or evil, but we ask Him to have mercy, to open eyes that are bound by lies, and to lead them to repentance and to truth.

You have prayed well from Psalm 51, that God does not delight in outward sacrifice but in a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. This is indeed the gift God gives. It is His part to give a contrite and humbled heart, sober and watchful, full of repentance and compunction. We are in a grievous conflict against spiritual wickedness, and without such a heart we cannot stand. So we pray as you have prayed, that He would work in their hearts to convict them of sin, to make them hate sin and turn from it, and to put within them a new creation in righteousness and holiness of truth, not a mere outward form of righteousness, but the true righteousness which comes through faith in Christ.

We also pray for those who are chosen and belong to Christ among you, that the Lord would cover them with His peace and understanding, and clothe them with the breastplate of righteousness. As the breastplate is impenetrable, so is a life of virtue in Christ. No one can cut through it, not even the adversary, when Christ dwells within as a well of water springing up into everlasting life, so that the soul shall never thirst again.

Continue steadfastly in this relentless prayer. Pray with humility, not boasting and not looking down on others, for all have fallen short of the glory of God, whether educated or uneducated, and all need the same blood of Christ. Pray with thanksgiving for the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us, and trust that God who hears a contrite heart will answer according to His will.

May the Lord grant to you and to those for whom you pray this living water, this hunger and thirst that will not cease until it is satisfied in Him, and may He bring all to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
