Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join with you in this fervent prayer, lifting up the team at ###, their lawyers, and all involved to the throne of grace. You have declared in Your Word, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6). We stand on this promise, asking that You ignite an unquenchable fire within their hearts, a deep, consuming desire for truth and holiness that only You can satisfy.

Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that apart from You, no one can walk in righteousness. As it is written, "There is no one righteous; no, not one" (Romans 3:10). We pray that You would break through the deception of Satan that has blinded their minds (2 Corinthians 4:4). Let Your light shine in the darkness, exposing lies and revealing the beauty of Your truth. May they come to know You not just as a concept, but as the living Savior who died for their sins and rose again to give them new life.

We rebuke the spirit of compromise and moral relativism that has crept into their lives and professions. The legal field, like all areas of society, is called to uphold justice, but we see how easily it can become corrupted by pride, greed, and ungodly ambition. We ask that You convict them of sin, not to shame them, but to lead them to repentance. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let them hate sin as You hate it, and turn from it with all their hearts.

Father, we also lift up the believers among them. Strengthen their faith in the face of opposition. Let them be salt and light in their spheres of influence, showing Christ’s love while standing firm on Your Word. Cover them with Your precious blood, Lord Jesus, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they walk in wisdom, speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), and may their lives reflect the righteousness of Christ.

We recognize that true change comes not from human effort, but from a broken and contrite heart before You. As David prayed in Psalm 51, we echo his cry: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10). Work in their hearts, Lord, so that they may see their need for You and turn to You in humility. Let them not be like those who "honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me" (Isaiah 29:13), but may their devotion to You be genuine and deep.

We grieve with you over the disregard for human life and honest communication that has taken root in their midst. Father, You are the God of justice, and You hear the cries of the oppressed. Stir their consciences, Lord, and awaken in them a passion for truth and integrity. Let them see the value of every life as You see it, for "You have crowned him with glory and honor" (Psalm 8:5).

Holy Spirit, we thank You for interceding for us and for them with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). We trust in Your power to transform hearts and minds. May Your fruit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, be evident in their lives (Galatians 5:22-23).

We exalt Your name, Jesus Christ, for You alone are worthy of all praise. Your will be done in this situation, Lord, for Your glory and the advancement of Your kingdom. We pray that many would come to know You as Lord and Savior, that they would turn from their sins, and that Your truth would set them free. May they experience the fullness of life that comes only from walking in Your ways.

We hear the ache behind your prayer, the grief of watching people who should know better choose dishonesty over human dignity. Wanting them to thirst for what is true and right is a good and holy burden to carry, and we are honored to carry it with you.

One thing that steadies us when we pray for hard hearts is remembering that real change happens inside, not just in arguments or legal outcomes. We can faithfully bring truth and ask God to shine light, but only He can soften a heart and give a new love for what is right. That keeps us both hopeful and humble as we keep interceding.

It may help to give this burden a simple rhythm so it does not wear you down. Each day bring these lawyers and representatives before the Lord by name as you are able, ask Him to work in them according to His will, and then intentionally place them back in His hands. Stay close to healthy community and worship yourself, so your own heart stays tender and not hardened by disappointment.

Father, we lift this team and their lawyers to You in Jesus name. Work in their hearts, give them eyes to see what is true and a desire for righteousness and compassion. Cover Your people with Your peace and understanding, keep them steady, and let Your will be done. Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join you before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, asking the Father to kindle within every heart an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

It is a blessed thirst when the soul cries, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. This desire is itself a gift of the Spirit of God, for by nature we love darkness rather than light, but when God works upon the heart He makes us to loathe the sin we once loved and to long for that holiness which is found only in Christ.

You have prayed well for those who are as yet bound by lies, that they may be saved. We join you in pleading that the goodness of God may lead them to repentance, for it is His goodness that spares the sinner that he may turn unto Him. We pray not that God would bless them in their sin, but that He would deliver them from it, for there is salvation in no other name under heaven but the name of Jesus, who was set forth to be a propitiation for sin through faith in His blood.

You have rightly quoted the Psalm, For thou desirest not sacrifice else would I give it, thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. This is the repentance which God accepts. It is not a poor and short lived sorrow which turns from sin for a time and then returns to it with greater gusto, but a true and lasting work of the Spirit. True repentance gives glory to the omniscience of God, confessing that He has seen all our ways, and it gives glory to the righteousness of His law, saying with the penitent, Thy law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin.

We pray that the Lord will grant to these souls, and to the team and to those learned in the law of whom you speak, that godly sorrow which needeth not to be repented of. May they see their sin as laid upon Christ upon the cross, and may that sight make them weep and say, Alas, and did my Saviour bleed, and did my Sovereign die for me. For repentance and faith are inseparable. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith in Jesus, and no faith is true but that which is linked with a hearty and sincere repentance for past sin. Repentance is to leave the sins we loved before, and show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more.

We ask the Lord to cover with His precious blood all who are His chosen in Christ Jesus, to give them peace and understanding, and to teach them to be righteous and compassionate. And for those who still disregard human life and honest communication, we pray that the Holy Spirit would break and bruise the heart, for breaking develops the sweetness which God has put within. When He has put a new nature there, He will not leave His work till corruption is removed and the soul is clothed in the perfect righteousness of Christ.

Be encouraged to continue in relentless prayer, looking still to Jesus, for it is by looking to Him that repentance is both begotten and sustained. He came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance, and whosoever will trust His Son shall be saved. May the Lord answer according to His will, to the glory of His grace, and may He fill you also with that hunger for truth which shall not be denied.

We commend you and all those for whom you intercede to the mercy of our faithful God, praying that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, for Christ's sake. Amen.
