Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join with you in this fervent prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, especially for those entangled in deception and sin. The Word of God declares, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). This hunger is not of the flesh but of the spirit, a deep longing to walk in the light of Christ and to be freed from the chains of falsehood.

We lift up the team at , their lawyers, and all involved in this situation, praying that the scales of deception would fall from their eyes. The enemy seeks to blind minds and harden hearts, but we declare that the truth of Jesus Christ is more powerful than any lie. "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32 WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), leading them to repentance and a transformed life.

It is heartbreaking to see those who should uphold justice and truth instead engage in unrighteousness. We acknowledge that education and position do not guarantee godliness, only a surrendered heart to Christ can produce true righteousness. As it is written, "The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10 WEB). We pray that their hearts would be broken before God, that they would hate sin as He hates it, and that they would turn from evil to embrace His ways.

We also rebuke the spirit of pride and self-righteousness that can creep into our own hearts as we pray. We are all sinners saved by grace, and none of us can stand before God on our own merit. "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 WEB). We must approach this situation with humility, compassion, and a deep reliance on the Holy Spirit to work in ways we cannot.

We thank You, Lord, for the precious blood of Jesus that covers us and intercedes for us. We exalt Your name, for You alone are holy, just, and true. We pray that Your will would be done in this situation, that Your kingdom would come, and that Your name would be glorified. Stir within these individuals a hunger for Your Word, a thirst for Your presence, and a passion to walk in Your ways. May they come to know You as Savior and Lord, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would break the chains of deception and sin in their lives. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and the fullness of life found only in Christ. May they experience the joy of salvation and the peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that they would be filled with Your Spirit, empowered to live righteously, and used by You to bring truth and justice to others.

We also pray for the Christians involved in this situation, that they would be covered by the blood of Jesus, strengthened in faith, and given wisdom to navigate these challenges. May they be salt and light in their spheres of influence, reflecting Christ in all they do.

Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We commit this situation into Your hands, asking that You would move in power and bring glory to Your name. May Your truth prevail, and may hearts be turned to You. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We notice you carried these people before the Lord with a heavy heart, and we can feel the depth of that burden. It is wearying to watch others, especially those with education and influence, disregard what is true and right, treating people made in God's image as obstacles rather than neighbors. That kind of grief doesn't come from self-righteousness. It comes from love. And we are grateful you brought it here rather than letting it harden into contempt.

What you are asking for, an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, is not something any human can manufacture in another person. Heart-change of that magnitude is entirely God's work. But we can keep asking, and we can ask with hope, because we serve a God who specializes in turning hearts around. The kind of repentance that lasts is not mere regret at being caught or temporary sorrow under pressure. It is a full change of direction, a mind and will turned around by God's kindness. So we join you in asking for exactly that: not just a passing pang of conscience, but a deep, disruptive hunger for what is right.

In the meantime, we can also pray for you. Carrying this burden can drain your own soul. It might help to set a simple time each day, perhaps just a few minutes, to lift this matter specifically and then consciously release the weight back to the Lord. He does not ask you to carry what only He can change.

Lord Jesus, we lift this team of lawyers and their representatives to You. You see each heart, each buried conscience, each weight of what they have done or ignored. Stir in them a genuine sorrow that leads to life, not regret that fades, but a turning that changes everything. Give them an ache for truth they cannot shake. Protect those who are being disregarded or harmed in this process; be their Defender. And sustain Your child who is praying, renew hope, guard against bitterness, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are at work even in hidden places. In Your name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have the knowledge of Christ. Therefore we ought to pray and abstain and be sober. Not only this bit i have love for a godly good woman. To have better manners through chastity work prayer work and fsith in God and waiting. I can have good manners and treat her fair thanks to God. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

You have asked for unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and I will not pour cold water on that prayer. Yet remember that such a thirst is not a thing a man kindles by his own breath. It is the gift of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in the soul. Man left to himself continues in sin. If he turns from his iniquity, it is because God turns him.

You do well to plead Psalm 51. A broken and a contrite heart God will not despise. But beware lest you pray about the sins of lawyers and educated men with a secret satisfaction in your own distance from them. The self-righteousness that says, I am holier than thou, is a smoldering heap of rubbish. God is not mocked. The sin that dwells in your own breast is enough to send you to hell, and if you have seen it as it is, you will not wonder that others are bound by Satan's lies. You will wonder that you yourself are not given over to a reprobate mind.

Pray therefore for the team and lawyers you name, not as a spectator watching men fight with serpents, but as one sinner pointing another sinner to the only remedy. They are not saved by being given peace while they remain in rebellion. The peace that passes understanding flows from the blood of the cross, but the blood first slays enmity. Where there is no repentance, there can be no remission. If the heart loves sin, a false peace is the most cruel gift we could ask for it.

For the people of God among them, plead the cleansing and keeping power of the precious blood, but let it never become a pillow for sleeping in sin. The blood covers the penitent sinner and cleanses him from all unrighteousness. It does not shelter the man who continues in his iniquity.

Ask Christ to work repentance in them by His Holy Spirit through belief of the truth as it is recorded in the Word of God. Ask that the truth they have studied in letters may come with power to the conscience, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Ask that sin may become exceeding sinful to them, that they may not merely be sorry for consequences, but that they may hate sin as sin and turn from it with purpose of heart. That is the repentance that gives glory to the righteousness of God in His law.

Do not think that forgiving their sins can be separated from their forsaking them. Forgiveness is not a thing God scatters upon those who love their sins. It is received by the hand of faith in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name given under heaven among men whereby we must be saved. Pray that the Holy Spirit may convince them of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, because they believe not on Christ.

Then, before you have done, let the sword of truth cut your own conscience. Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. The unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness begins at home. Stand by the banner of truth, but touch not the persons of men. Smite their sin with a stout heart and a strong arm, and remember that your own flesh is not without the same wounds.

The thirst you describe will be quenched only at the fountain opened for sin and uncleanness. The truth that sets free is not the bare conviction that your adversaries are wrong. It is the truth as it is in Jesus. If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

The prayer you have set before the church is a weapon, and the thirst you ask for is no small thing, for it is the thirst of the truth that sets us free. But remember what kind of war this is. It is not chiefly against lawyers or legal representatives; it is against the deceiver who has bound them. The armor of this warfare is not formed of hides and steel, but of truth and righteousness, faith, and all true love of wisdom. So do not let your prayer become a lawsuit against sinners. Pray as one who knows that the educated can fall, because education does not create righteousness. True righteousness is not learned in law books. It is created in Christ, in righteousness and holiness of truth. A man may know every statute and still be blind to the law of God.

Your grief over their disregard for human life and honest communication is just. But grief alone will not change them. Truth and righteousness must take root in the will, and that is God's work. Psalm 51 must be read to the end. The acceptable sacrifice is a broken spirit and a contrite heart. But a contrite heart is not the same as tears or terror. Esau wept and found no place of repentance, because his sorrow did not produce a changed will. Therefore pray not only that these lawyers feel sorrow, but that their sorrow becomes hatred of the sin itself and turns them from it. Ask that they love truth enough to confess it, and that their confession be followed by amendment. You call on the precious blood of Christ. Do not ask for that blood as a covering over unrepented sin; ask that it cleanse them through confession and faith. The Apostle says, if perhaps God may give them repentance. That word perhaps teaches us patience. We cannot break hearts by force, but we can ask with long-suffering.

You do well not to boast or look down on them. But add your own repentance to this prayer. The prayers of the saints have the greatest power, yet on condition of our repentance and amendment. Pray, then, with your own sins laid out before God, as one who also needs mercy. That will keep you from self-righteousness and make your intercession gentle. Truth has a severe face because its rewards are still to come, while false pleasures are present and attractive. Therefore the prayer for an unquenchable thirst is a prayer for endurance, not only for them but for you. Continue in it. Ask God to make them and you love truth more than comfort, and righteousness more than reputation. Then leave the result to the One who alone can give repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is right and biblical, and it is good to bring it before the Father in the name of Jesus.

That deep thirst you are asking God to stir in others is at its heart a spiritual thirst. Every person is body, soul and spirit, and while the body has physical needs, the spirit within every person thirsts for God and for a real relationship with Him. We try to fill that thirst with many other things, with success, with education, with position, but those things do not satisfy. Jesus Himself said, If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. He was speaking of spiritual thirst, and He alone can quench it because He is God. To pray that people would thirst for truth and righteousness is to pray that they would come to Him.

You are also right to see that education and knowledge of the law do not make a person righteous. Scripture speaks of having a zeal for God but not according to knowledge, of being ignorant of God's righteousness and trying to establish a righteousness of our own. Many trust in their own good works or their own learning to make themselves right before God, and in doing so they do not submit to the righteousness which God has provided. True righteousness is not earned. Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness, and that was before any outward sign. In the same way, to the one who does not trust in works but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, faith is counted for righteousness. God imputes to us the righteousness of Christ when we put our faith in Jesus. That is the only righteousness that stands before Him.

That righteousness was made possible because God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. At the cross mercy and truth met together, righteousness and peace kissed. Justice required that sin be paid for, and mercy desired to forgive. Both are satisfied in Jesus, who bore the curse for us and shed His blood for our redemption. Because of that, God can forgive the guilty and still be just, and He can give peace to those who come to Him.

You quoted Psalm 51 well. God does not delight in outward sacrifice alone, but a broken and contrite heart He will not despise. It is right to pray as you have, that God would work on hearts to bring that brokenness, that people would see their sin as God sees it, hate it, and turn from it. That is the work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts and intercedes. We do not pray from a place of boasting or looking down on others, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but from humility, knowing we ourselves need the same grace.

Continue to pray with compassion, and pray with urgency. Scripture says now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Grace is offered today and should not be received in vain or put off. Pray that those you mentioned, and all who are bound by lies, would hear the word of truth, believe, and do it, and not merely hear and forget. There is no fellowship between righteousness and unrighteousness, or between light and darkness, so to truly walk in truth they must be brought out of darkness into the light of Christ.

Jesus promised, blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. When that hunger is directed to Him, He fills it. He seeks those who will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. So keep asking the Lord to give that holy hunger, to cover His own with the blood of Jesus and keep them in peace and understanding, and to draw those who are still in sin to repentance and to faith in Christ alone for salvation. He is faithful to hear, and His will is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

May the Lord give you perseverance in prayer and fill you also with His peace as you trust Him to do His perfect will.
