Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this fervent prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, especially for those entangled in deception and sin. The Word of God declares, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB). This is not merely a desire but a divine longing that only the Holy Spirit can ignite within the hearts of men and women.

We lift up the team at and their legal representatives, who may be blinded by the enemy’s lies. The adversary comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We plead the power of His precious blood over them, that they may be loosed from every chain of deception. "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 WEB). May they come to recognize the weight of their sins, not to condemn them, but to lead them to repentance and the freedom found only in Christ.

It is a sobering reality that even those trained in the law can fall into grievous sin. The apostle Paul warns, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 WEB). Education and intellect do not exempt anyone from the need for a Savior. We must never look down on those who stumble, for we too are capable of falling without the grace of God. Instead, we pray that their hearts would be broken and contrite before the Lord, for "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise" (Psalm 51:17 WEB).

We rebuke the spirit of pride and self-righteousness that may have taken root in their hearts. The Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6 WEB). May they see their need for Jesus, the only One who can cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). We pray that they would hate their sin as God hates it, not just the consequences, but the very nature of it, and turn from it wholeheartedly.

The disregard for human life and honest communication is a grievous offense before the Lord. Scripture commands, "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13 WEB) and "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor" (Ephesians 4:25 WEB). We cry out for conviction to fall upon them, that they may repent and walk in the light of God’s truth. May the Holy Spirit stir within them a deep, unshakable hunger for righteousness, for "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people" (Proverbs 14:34 WEB).

We thank You, Father, for Your holiness and for the intercession of the Holy Spirit, who prays for us according to Your perfect will (Romans 8:26-27 WEB). We exalt the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which men must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We declare that Your will be done in this situation, that souls would be saved, hearts would be transformed, and Your kingdom would advance.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You would:
- Open their eyes to the deception they are under and the sin they are entangled in.
- Grant them a godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10 WEB).
- Fill them with a hunger and thirst for Your Word and Your ways.
- Break every chain of pride, greed, and unrighteousness in their lives.
- Surround them with godly influences who will speak truth in love.
- Use this situation for Your glory, that many would come to know You.

We stand in agreement with Your Word, which says, "If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB). Let this be the hour of their salvation and transformation. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in that heavy place of grief, seeing people entrusted with justice and truth disregard both, even while claiming education and position. It cuts deep. And yet your own broken heart echoes the very spirit of Psalm 51 you prayed: a contrite heart God will not despise. He is not waiting for flawless offerings from the lawyers you mention; He is looking for hearts undone by their own sin, just as yours is undone for them. That is the spark He can fan into an unquenchable thirst for righteousness.

So we join you in your relentless prayer. Keep coming before the Father with this ache, not as a wearisome duty but as a steady, trusting act of love. The Holy Spirit already intercedes with groanings we cannot put into words; your persistence echoes His work. You are not trying to force God’s hand, you are simply making space in your own heart for the mercy He already desires to pour out.

A small, practical anchor for you: whenever you recall a specific action that grieves you, a court motion, a news report, a name, lift that very thing to Jesus in a single sentence, maybe right then. “Jesus, let them see truth.” “Father, forgive them; give them a new mind.” Over time, that turns a crushing burden into a stream of continual prayer you can sustain.

Lord Jesus, we thank You for this brother or sister who refuses to let injustice pass without prayer. By Your Spirit, stir an unrelenting thirst for truth and righteousness in the hearts of those lawyers and representatives. Break through every lie that binds them. We ask not for their temporary remorse, but for a change of mind that leads to transformed lives, for the sake of their own souls and for all they influence. AMEN.

How often the lip prays for an unquenchable thirst while the heart sits at ease, sipping the tepid waters of a worldly cistern! A thirst for truth and righteousness is no light desire; it is the Spirit’s own groaning within the soul, a hunger that only the Bread of Heaven can satisfy. I would have you weigh well the repentance you seek for these lawyers and men of the world. Beware of that superficial sorrow which men mistake for grace, a mere fright at consequence, a fleeting pang that leaves the soul harder than before. The repentance that is after a godly sort loathes sin itself, not merely its penalty, and turns from it with a fixed determination. It is no rent paid to ease a seared conscience while the heart clings still to its idols. God is not mocked with such hypocritical tears. True repentance gives glory to God, for it owns His justice, bows before His holy law, and flees at once to the atoning blood of Christ. You have cried that they might hate their sins enough to forsake them. That is the very work of the Holy Ghost, who alone can take away the heart of stone and give the heart of flesh. You do well to pray in the name of Jesus, for repentance and remission of sins are preached in His name and are bestowed through Him. He lives to make intercession for the transgressors, and His blood speaks better things than that of Abel. Pray on, then, for a broken and a contrite heart is the sacrifice God will not despise, and a broken heart can never long be divided from the broken Saviour.

But let your own soul also be examined, lest while you mourn for others you remain unquickened. Do you possess this thirst yourself? Is it a consuming fire, or a tame and orderly wish? The man whose heart is broken has done with frivolity and trifling; he is serious, earnest, set upon the one great matter. He does not measure his repentance by tears but by a changed mind, a renewed will, a practical turning from the way of Moab to dwell in Bethlehem with God’s people. And this thirst is not quenched by prayer alone but by receiving Christ Himself, who is the Truth. You cannot receive the truth without receiving the Person, for He is the mold of truth into which the prepared mind must be delivered. If you would see these lawyers walk in righteousness, pray that their hearts be given wholly to Him, not a halved heart, for that is a dead heart. Give Christ a heart for a heart. He asks for the heart not for His own enrichment but for our cleansing and salvation. The fountains of all our impurity lie there, and only as we yield it up to the holy Lord are we kept. Cry then with unceasing importunity, yet rest not in the cry. Lay hold upon the promise: “He shall strengthen your heart.” The weakness you lament in men of learning and power is the common weakness of all who stand in their own wisdom. Only divine grace can make a lawyer an honest neighbor, and only the Spirit can teach a sharp mind to bow before the simplicity of the cross. God give you and them that repentance which is the gift of His uplifted Son, and with it the remission that dances in the wake of every godly sorrow. Fight against your own faintness, and be of good courage, for the Lord Himself is the strength of your heart and your portion forever.

You pray for an unquenchable thirst for righteousness, and this is a noble cry, for blessed are they who hunger and thirst after it. Yet see that you understand what is asked. This thirst is not a passing desire but an all-consuming longing, a transfer of every earthly craving onto the love of true virtue. It is the same thirst of which the Lord cried out on the great day of the feast, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink." Do you not see? He calls the one who has zeal, the one inflamed with desire. Your prayer must lead them first to that stream. They cannot manufacture this thirst by their own study of law; that water leaves a man thirsting again. The well must spring up within them from Christ Himself, becoming a fountain of living water gushing up into everlasting life.

You speak of lawyers bound by lies, and your heart grieves for their disregard of honest communication. You are right to grieve, for their education offers no guarantee of righteousness. Indeed, the truly righteous and holy life is created not from water or earth, but in the righteousness and holiness of truth, a reality that comes only from new birth. The old figures and types of cleanliness and law are not the truth itself. You long for them to hate their sin, and rightly so, for a man’s own heart must be broken and contrite; this sacrifice God will not despise. But how will they find this unless their thirst drives them to Christ?

Release your soul from the anxiety that ties their salvation to the vexations and long circuits of human law. The word that saves is near them, a very short and simple path. It is faith, holding salvation in a few words: confessing the Lord Jesus and believing in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead. This is the truth that sets free. Do not merely pray that they be taught righteousness as a concept, but that they receive the breastplate of righteousness, a life of universal virtue so fixed in the breast that no devil, no adversary, can pierce it. And do not only pray against their evil; pray that their affliction itself, the very public uncovering of their sin, might become for them an occasion of gladness, of a sorrow that leads to repentance and a comfort that refreshes the very bowels of their soul.

The thirst you seek for them must not be for the blood of their adversaries or the spoils of their craft, a thirst fiercer than any fury. That is a thirst from beneath. The thirst we speak of is the one placed by God. Pray that this divine longing entirely overpowers their covetousness, the peculiar property of the unredeemed soul, so they will strive for freedom from greed with the same energy they once used for gaining. Only then will their righteousness abide forever, and the fruits they yield will not be those of the courtroom, but the spiritual harvest of almsgiving and truth, where God Himself becomes their debtor.

You have asked for relentless prayer, and I join you in it. The thirst you are describing is not too much to ask; it is exactly the kind of thirst God promises to satisfy. Scripture says, Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. That promise is the place to stand.

A true revelation of God always brings a true revelation of ourselves. When we see ourselves in His light, our own righteousness looks like filthy rags, and that is what creates a genuine thirst for the righteousness that comes from God alone. That is the thirst we should be asking for, not a self-confident demand for vindication, but a hungry, humble dependence on Christ.

You are right not to put your confidence in education or public position. A person may know the law and still be far from the heart of God. God does not look on the outward appearance; He looks on the heart. What matters is not a polished outward performance but a broken and contrite heart. You already prayed from Psalm 51, and that is the precise need. God does not delight in empty offerings or impressive displays. The sacrifice He will not despise is a broken spirit. Pray for that brokenness among those on your heart.

And we are not asking for mercy without truth or truth without mercy. In Christ, mercy and truth meet, and righteousness and peace embrace one another. That is the only place where a sinner can be forgiven and also made righteous. The truth you are asking for is the truth as it is in Jesus, because He alone sets a person free. Pray that the lies of the enemy would be exposed, because God's judgment is always according to truth. He knows every hidden thing, and He is able to reach the heart no argument can reach.

The deepest issue is not only their actions but a divided heart. Pray that God would unite their hearts to fear His name, because out of the heart are the issues of life. Only the Spirit can give an undivided heart and an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness. And this is urgent. Today is the day of salvation. We do not have to hope for some distant possibility. The offer is now.

You have also shown the right spirit by not boasting over those who have fallen. None of us would stand if we were not being kept by grace. That humility is part of the prayer.

So I join you in praying: Father, give these people a broken and contrite heart. Take away the divided heart and give them a whole heart for truth and righteousness. Let Your mercy and truth meet in their lives, and do not let them pass the appointed day of salvation. We ask in Jesus' name.
