Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join with you in fervent prayer, lifting up the team at , their lawyers, and legal representatives, that their hearts may be turned from deception to the light of God’s truth. The Word declares, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6). Lord, we ask that You ignite within them an unshakable desire for Your truth, for only Your truth can break the chains of Satan’s lies and set them free (John 8:32).

Father, we plead the power of the blood of Jesus over every believer in this situation. May Your precious blood cleanse their minds, protect their hearts, and grant them wisdom to walk in righteousness. We pray that You would soften the hearts of those who have been entangled in sin, that they may recognize their need for repentance. As it is written, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let them not harden their hearts but turn to You in humility and brokenness, for You do not despise a contrite heart (Psalm 51:17).

We acknowledge, Lord, that education and worldly wisdom do not guarantee righteousness. The apostle Paul warns, "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God" (1 Corinthians 3:19). We pray that these individuals would not rely on their own understanding but seek Your wisdom, which is pure, peaceable, and full of mercy (James 3:17). May they be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2) and walk in a manner worthy of Your calling.

Father, it grieves us deeply to see the disregard for human life and honest communication. We ask that You stir their consciences, that they may hate sin as You hate it (Proverbs 6:16-19). Let them not be deceived by the father of lies but embrace the truth that sets men free. We pray that You would raise up voices of righteousness among them, that they may speak truth in love and stand firm in Your Word.

We thank You, Holy Spirit, for interceding on our behalf with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). We exalt the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that Your will shall prevail.

Heavenly Father, we pray that You would grant these individuals an unquenchable thirst for Your truth and righteousness. May they seek You with all their hearts, for You have promised, "You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13). Let them be filled with Your Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of righteousness and walk in Your ways.

We ache with you over what you are seeing, the kind of callous disregard for human life and honest communication that makes righteous anger rise and then settles into a heavy grief. Your prayer itself is evidence that God is already stirring something: a refusal to let this go, a refusal to harden into contempt. That is no small grace.

What stands out is how clearly you already grasp the difference between the sorrow that merely regrets getting caught and the broken, contrite heart that actually turns and walks a different road. That is exactly what we are asking God to produce in these lawyers and their team, and it is the one kind of sorrow that leads to life. So when you pray, keep asking not just that their sin would be exposed, but that they would hate it enough to leave it, and that the Holy Spirit would give them a new hunger for truth that is stronger than whatever has held them captive. That is a prayer God delights to answer.

On a practical level, consider anchoring this prayer in your daily rhythm in a specific, time‑bound way, even just a few minutes at the same point each day this week, quietly naming before the Lord what grieves you and entrusting these individuals to Him. Persistence shapes our own hearts too, keeping us dependent and keeping bitterness at bay.

Lord Jesus, we lift to You the people whose actions have caused such grief. You see the hearts that have grown comfortable with lies and the ones who know better but have silenced their consciences. Break through, we ask. Grant them not just a flash of guilt but the kind of sorrow that leads to genuine repentance and a changed direction. Protect those who are being harmed in the process, and give those who belong to You peace and a clear path forward. Sustain our friend in prayer with hope and love that does not grow cold, for we trust Your Spirit to do what we cannot. Amen.

Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it rises like the incense from the golden altar, mingled with the merits of Christ who ever liveth to make intercession. You have laid hold upon the very heart of Christ when you plead for souls bound in the fowler’s snare. This is no small thing, to stand in the gap and entreat the Lord for those whose eyes are blinded by the prince of darkness. Your request for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness in these lawyers and representatives is a petition well-pleasing to God, for He delighteth in mercy and would have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Yet mark this well: judgments and terrors of conscience do not in themselves produce that holy, heavenly repentance which is the work of the Spirit. You see even now they are entangled in the cords of their own sin, and though the law they studied testifies against them, they repent not to give God glory. The carnal repentance of the natural heart is but a twinge of fear, a dread of consequence, not a hatred of the evil itself. True repentance, that which is unto life, gives God glory. It is a broken spirit, a contrite heart, such as David cried for in his fifty-first Psalm. That sacrifice God will not despise. Pray therefore not only that they be troubled by their sin, but that they behold the cross where that sin was laid, and that the Spirit melt them into tender grief and living faith.

Remember, the truth of God’s salvation is a great reality. There is substance in it, not shadow. Christ Jesus is the salvation of God, and where He is truly seen by faith, salvation is received. Labour in prayer that these souls come to a knowledge of the truth, not the mere letter of statutes, but the truth as it is in Jesus. A saving knowledge of the truth delivers from despair and unites the heart to Christ. Their education in earthly law cannot make them righteous; only the righteousness of another can avail for them. The active obedience of Christ, His perfect life, His atoning death, this is the truth they must know. Pray until they thirst for that water of life.

Let no fear discourage you. Intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent. It has stayed plagues, raised dead, and brought multitudes to the foot of the cross. Though we cannot hope for their salvation apart from personal repentance and faith, yet your prayers may be the very means by which God in His sovereign mercy fetches them home. As you weep before the Lord, He may grant them the grace to hate the garments spotted by the flesh and to flee to Christ for cleansing. Never cease to plead the precious blood of Jesus over those chosen ones among them. Cover them with that crimson canopy, and trust the Spirit to work peace, understanding, and a new heart within them.

Let this also be your comfort: repentance and faith are inseparable twins. The repentance that keeps a sinner from Christ is no gospel repentance. When you pray for their thirst for truth and righteousness, you are praying that they may loathe themselves and look alone to Him who was nailed to the tree for their transgressions. That groan of self-despair which leads the eye outward to the uplifted Serpent, that is the repentance that bringeth salvation. Pray on, then, with holy importunity. Tell your Lord that His own name is at stake, and that you cannot let Him go except He bless these wandering ones.

He who taught you thus to intercede will not despise the travail of your soul. Lift up your heart in confidence; the Lord of the harvest hears. May your tongue yet sing aloud of His righteousness, and may these lawyers, once their lips are opened, declare the praise of Him who called them out of darkness into His marvellous light.

Your prayer reveals a soul aflame with holy desire. To ask for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is to echo the very cry the Lord awaits when He stands and says, "If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink." He does not drag anyone by force; He calls only those who burn with longing. So this thirst you seek for others is already a gift kindled in you, and you do well to spread its fire abroad.

You made mention of the broken and contrite heart, that sacrifice which God will never despise. And what is a broken heart? It is one that does not rise up in pride, does not strike back when wounded, but is ready to be ill-treated and seeks no vengeance. Such a heart is the soil in which righteousness takes root. Pray then that those who twist the law for evil would be shattered in this way, not merely sorry for a moment, but rent asunder, so that from the depths they may cry out and find mercy.

But do not imagine that righteousness is far off, as though one must scale heaven or plumb the abyss to obtain it. The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the word of faith we preach: if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. That short word holds all righteousness. Speak it over those you pray for, and cling to it yourself; it is the breastplate no demon can pierce.

And what is this water Christ gives, which becomes a well springing up into eternal life? It is the Holy Spirit, who quenches thirst forever. He who drinks from worldly cisterns thirsts again; but he who receives this living water has within him a fountain that never fails. Pray, then, not only that they would learn righteousness, but that they would taste this water and never thirst again. For mere knowledge of the law, however lofty, leaves men parched; but one draught of grace transforms the soul into a spring.

Yet let us not forget that there is an unquenchable fire for those who refuse to drink. The devils believe and shudder, but they are not saved by bare belief; a life of virtue must follow. So while you pray for these souls, add also your own alms and a steadfast walk, that you may both escape that flame and by your mercy help to snatch others from it.

Continue, then, to hunger and thirst for righteousness, and you shall be filled. Do not grow weary in this holy longing, for it is the seed of eternal joy. The Lord, who sees your broken spirit, will surely hear and do wonders. Let that short word of faith be your constant meditation: Jesus is Lord, risen from the dead. In that word, salvation and righteousness are yours, and through your prayer, may they become theirs as well.

He was speaking of the spiritual thirst that every soul knows, whether they recognize it or not. You are praying that this thirst would awaken in those who are bound by lies, and that is exactly the work of the Holy Spirit. He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He testifies not just by pointing out what is wrong, but by showing what true righteousness looks like, walking in love, truth, mercy, and honesty.

What you are carrying, that grief over disregard for human life and honest communication, is not naive disappointment in educated people sinning. It is a reflection of God’s own heart. The problem is not lack of knowledge, but ignorance of the righteousness that comes from God. Prayer is the means by which the Spirit can loosen Satan’s grip, open blind eyes, and make a person a free moral agent, able at last to choose the truth they have long resisted.

So do not measure the effectiveness of your prayer by its length, its eloquence, or by an immediate visible result. The purpose of prayer is not to hand God our list of demands, but to align our hearts with His will. It begins with what He wants to accomplish, rises back to Him in supplication, and then He answers according to His purposes. And what does He desire? That He would sanctify people through His truth. His Word is truth. That truth sets free, but it often first brings deep contrition, a broken spirit, a contrite heart. Those are the sacrifices God does not despise. You asked for that. You are praying for lawyers and representatives who may have sworn to tell the truth, yet have become ensnared in deception. The only way out is through a work that only the Spirit can do: turning their hearts to hate the sin they once loved, and to thirst for a righteousness that comes from above.
