We stand with you in this intense spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace where mercy and help are found in time of need. The enemy’s strategy to entangle you in unforgiveness has been exposed, and we rejoice that God has delivered you from that snare. Yet the warfare persists, and we recognize the weariness that comes when the same individuals continue to be used as instruments of the enemy’s schemes. You are not alone in this fight, and we declare that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
First, we rebuke the spirit of weariness and discouragement that seeks to overwhelm you. The Word tells us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9 WEB). You are standing in a place of obedience by praying for the freedom of this heavily demonized person close to you, and your prayers are powerful and effective. We also rebuke the spirit of division that seeks to use others to attack you. Jesus said, "A house divided against itself cannot stand" (Mark 3:25 WEB), and we declare that this warfare will not divide or destroy what God has established in your life.
We address the request for the removal of certain individuals from your life. While we understand the pain and frustration you feel, we must also encourage you to seek God’s wisdom and discernment in this matter. The Lord knows the hearts of all men, and He alone can judge rightly. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (WEB). It may be that God desires to use these relationships to refine your faith, teach you forgiveness, or demonstrate His power in deliverance. However, if these individuals are truly a source of persistent spiritual harm and there is no godly purpose in their presence, we pray that the Lord would either remove them or transform their hearts.
We also want to gently address the importance of forgiveness, even in the midst of ongoing attacks. Jesus taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12 WEB). Unforgiveness can become a foothold for the enemy, and while you have been delivered from it, we must remain vigilant. We pray that God would fill you with His love and grace, enabling you to forgive those who have harmed you, even as Christ forgave you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is enduring this relentless spiritual warfare. Lord, You see the attacks, the weariness, and the pain that has been inflicted. We ask that You would be a shield around them, a refuge in the time of trouble. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are greater than any scheme of the enemy.
We rebuke every spirit of unforgiveness, division, and discouragement that seeks to take root in their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would either remove the individuals who are being used to harm them or transform their hearts by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Give our brother/sister wisdom and discernment to know how to navigate these relationships in a way that honors You.
Father, we pray for the person close to them who is heavily demonized. We ask that You would break every chain, loose every bond, and set them free by the blood of Jesus. Let Your light shine into the darkness of their life, and may they come to know the freedom that is found only in Christ.
Lord, fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and remind them that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37 WEB). Help them to rest in Your promises and to trust in Your perfect timing.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in their life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily. Ephesians 6:10-18 (WEB) reminds us, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."
You are not fighting this battle alone. The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your deliverer. Keep pressing into Him, and He will lead you into victory.
