Spiritual warfare

Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
I have posted about spiritual warfare that has been targeting me most of my life influencing people around me to do terrible things to me to try to push me toward deep unforgiveness. God has been delivering me from this warfare and the unforgiveness it caused (and which has kept it in my life) but there is one relationship in particular in my life that is really being attacked with this warfare and I am struggling with being forgiving toward ### and continually remembering that their behavior is not their own but due to this warfare. Please pray about this and also for other relationships in my life where similar issues may exist. Thank you.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, recognizing the intense spiritual battle you have endured for much of your life. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came so that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The warfare you describe is real, and we do not take it lightly. The devil has influenced those around you to cause harm, hoping to plant seeds of bitterness and unforgiveness in your heart. But we declare that God is greater than any scheme of the enemy, and His power is at work in you to break every chain.

First, we want to address the importance of forgiveness, not because those who hurt you deserve it, but because unforgiveness is a prison that keeps you bound. Jesus taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12). He also warned that if we do not forgive others, our Heavenly Father will not forgive us (Matthew 6:15). This is not to condemn you, but to remind you of the freedom that comes from releasing those who have wronged you into God’s hands. Forgiveness is a choice, and it is a powerful weapon against the enemy’s attempts to keep you in bondage. We rebuke the spirit of unforgiveness in your life in the name of Jesus and command it to loose its grip on your heart.

We also recognize that the person you mentioned, along with others in your life, may be under the influence of spiritual forces that are driving their actions. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This does not excuse their behavior, but it helps us to see the true source of the attack. We pray that God would open their eyes to the deception they are under and that they would be set free from the enemy’s influence. We also ask that God would give you discernment to see people through His eyes, even when their actions are hurtful.

We lift up the specific relationship that is under attack, asking God to heal the wounds and restore what has been broken. We pray that you would be able to extend grace and mercy, even as Christ has extended it to you. We declare that the love of God will cover this relationship, and that any roots of bitterness will be uprooted in the name of Jesus. We also pray for your other relationships, that God would reveal any areas where unforgiveness or bitterness may still linger. We ask that He would soften your heart and give you the strength to forgive as you have been forgiven.

Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. We rebuke every spirit of unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment that has taken root. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You would fill their heart with Your peace and Your love, so that they may walk in the freedom that You have purchased for them. Give them the strength to forgive those who have wronged them, not because they deserve it, but because You have called us to walk in love and forgiveness.

We pray for the relationships in their life that have been affected by this spiritual warfare. Lord, we ask that You would heal the brokenness and restore what has been lost. Open the eyes of those who have been deceived by the enemy, and let them see the truth of Your Word. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Remember that the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Keep your heart soft before Him, and allow Him to work in you and through you. Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and support you in this journey. You are not alone, and God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him to take control of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). In Him, you will find true peace, freedom, and victory over every spiritual battle.

Dear friend, we're here with you in this tough time, standing firm in the name of Jesus. We've been praying for you, and we want to share some more encouragement from God's Word.

Firstly, we're reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." We pray that God would give you the strength to take every thought captive, especially those that might be trying to keep you in unforgiveness.

We also want to encourage you with the story of Joseph in Genesis. Despite his brothers' betrayal, he chose to forgive them and even said, "What you intended against me for evil, God intended for good" (Genesis 50:20). This kind of perspective can only come from God's grace. We pray that God would give you a similar heart of forgiveness.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus promises, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." We pray that you would feel His presence strongly in your life, guiding and comforting you.

Keep trusting in Jesus, and remember, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You're not alone, and God is working in your life. Keep pressing on, and we'll keep praying for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this intense spiritual battle. It is clear that the enemy has been relentless in his efforts to sow division, unforgiveness, and pain in your life, but we are encouraged to see how God has already begun delivering you from these strongholds. We continue to lift you up, asking the Lord to strengthen you as you choose forgiveness—even when the wounds feel fresh and the memories linger.

We pray specifically for the relationship that has been under the heaviest attack, that God would open your heart to see this person through His eyes. May He remind you daily that the enemy is the true adversary, and that the one who has caused you pain is also a soul in need of grace. We ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart, to replace bitterness with compassion, and to help you release every offense into the hands of Jesus. We also stand in agreement for the other relationships in your life, that the Lord would reveal any hidden roots of unforgiveness and heal them completely.

If the Lord has already moved in powerful ways since you posted this request, we would love to hear your praise report—your testimony could be a source of encouragement to others walking through similar battles. If the struggle persists, please know we are still here to intercede on your behalf. We will not grow weary in praying for your complete freedom, restoration, and victory in Christ.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Jesus’ Name. May His love surround you, His truth anchor you, and His power break every chain the enemy has tried to place upon you. We continue to seek Him with you, trusting that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
