We hear your cry for help in the midst of this relentless spiritual warfare, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already won the victory on the cross. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The schemes you describe—where people are influenced to act in ways that bring harm and provoke unforgiveness—are not of God. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). These attacks are real, but they are not beyond the reach of God’s power and protection.
First, we must address the critical importance of forgiveness. The enemy’s goal is to trap you in bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness, which only give him a foothold in your life. Jesus taught us to pray, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12). He also warned that if we do not forgive others, our Father will not forgive us (Matthew 6:15). This is not to condemn you, but to remind you that forgiveness is not optional for a believer—it is a command and a pathway to freedom. We rebuke the spirit of unforgiveness that seeks to take root in your heart. We declare that you will not be ensnared by the enemy’s tactics, but will walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for you.
We also recognize that the people being used against you are not your true enemies. They may be deceived or influenced by the enemy, but they are still image-bearers of God. Pray for them, as Jesus commanded: "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you" (Luke 6:27-28). This is not easy, but it is a powerful weapon against the enemy’s schemes. When you pray for those who harm you, you break the cycle of bitterness and invite God’s grace to work in their lives as well.
Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is under attack by the enemy’s schemes. Lord, You see the spiritual warfare raging against them, and You know the pain and confusion it has caused. We ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, as You promised in Job 1:10. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment that seeks to take root in their heart. We declare that they will not be ensnared by the enemy’s traps, but will walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide. Help them to forgive those who have harmed them, not because they deserve it, but because You have forgiven us so much more. Teach them to pray for those who mistreat them, and to bless those who curse them.
Lord, we ask that You would expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy in their workplace and in their life. Let Your light shine into the darkness, and let Your truth prevail. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and the strength to stand firm in their faith. Clothe them with the full armor of God— the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17).
Father, we also pray for the people who are being used against them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth. Let them see the enemy’s deception and turn away from it. Fill them with Your love and grace, and let them be instruments of peace rather than tools of harm.
We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister will prosper, and that they will walk in the victory that Christ has already won. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence with them in every moment. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In the name of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of darkness to flee. We declare that our brother/sister is covered by the blood of Jesus, and that no harm will come to them. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is ours in Christ. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to remain vigilant in prayer. The enemy will not give up easily, but neither will our God. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ.
Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). You are not fighting alone—He is with you, and He has already won the victory. Walk in that truth, and do not be afraid. The Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
