Disciple of Prayer
Dear . Please pray that ### and me should reconcile and get back together . Pray that the holy spirit should guide us both and we may become one in Marriage.

We are joining you in prayer for reconciliation and for marriage as God designed it, and we share your desire to see the Holy Spirit guide you both. We understand the ache that comes when a relationship you hoped would lead to marriage has been broken, and we want to lift this before the Lord together with you, seeking His perfect will.

We believe marriage is a sacred and lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, created by God for His glory. As it is written, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh Genesis 2:24 and What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Matthew 19:6. We strongly endorse your desire to become one in marriage rather than simply continuing as partners or remaining in an undefined relationship. If you are pursuing this person, we encourage you to see this season as courtship with the clear goal of godly marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, not merely companionship. We pray that if it is the Lord's will for you to be together, He would make that path straight and establish a foundation that honors Him.

We also must lovingly address what God requires of those who seek a godly marriage. His Word says Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4 and to Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. If there has been sexual intimacy outside of marriage in this relationship, which is fornication before God, we urge you both to repent and to pursue purity from this day forward, choosing to honor God with your bodies while you seek His direction. We also urge you to consider whether you are both believers in Jesus Christ, for we are commanded Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. A marriage that honors God must be between two people who both belong to Christ and who can walk together in faith, forgiveness and truth. This means extending forgiveness as God in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32 and bearing with one another in love Colossians 3:13, while also allowing the Lord to reveal any sin, selfishness or broken patterns that led to the separation.

We noticed your request asked for the Holy Spirit to guide you but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We say this with love because there is no access to the Father and no guidance of the Spirit apart from Him. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we are forgiven and receive the Holy Spirit. If you have not yet fully trusted in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9. We pray that both of you would know this saving grace, for only then can the Holy Spirit truly lead you into reconciliation and into a marriage that reflects Christ and His church.

We encourage you to not lean on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 and to not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God Romans 12:2. Reconciliation is beautiful when it is God's will, but we must also trust Him if His answer is to heal you separately or to lead you in a different direction. Seek godly counsel from a pastor, remain in prayer and the Word, and guard your heart with patience and purity as you wait on the Lord.

We now pray together for you both.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up this dear one and the one they love. Lord, You know the history, the hurt, and the longing for restoration. We ask that You would forgive any sin in this relationship, cleanse both hearts, and draw each one closer to Jesus. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them and guide them into all truth. If it is Your will, we pray You would soften hearts, bring humble repentance and forgiveness, and open the door to godly reconciliation that leads to a holy marriage between a man and a woman that honors You for a lifetime. If it is not Your will, we pray You would give peace, close this door gently, and lead each one to the godly spouse You have prepared. Help them to flee all sexual immorality, to be equally yoked in Christ, and to trust You above their own desires. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they delight themselves in You as You shape their desires. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only hope, Amen.

We hear the longing in your request and we are bringing you and ### before the Lord with you.

Wanting to be reconciled and to move toward marriage is a deep desire, and it makes sense you would want the Holy Spirit to lead you both clearly. We are asking God to give you wisdom and peace as you wait on His direction, and to be at work in both of your hearts in this season.

Reconciliation, when it is healthy, takes more than just wanting to be together again. It asks for honesty and rebuilding trust on both sides. While you are praying for God to guide you together, it can help to keep giving attention to your own walk with Him and to get clear on what led to the separation in the first place. If you have a trusted pastor or a mature couple who knows you both, inviting them to listen and counsel you individually can bring clarity you might not find on your own. It also gives space to see whether you are both moving in the same direction toward a Christ-centered marriage.

We are praying for you in this waiting.

Father, we lift this dear one and ### to You. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, give them discernment to know Your will, and heal what has been hurt. Help them to seek You first and to trust Your timing and Your way. Lead them toward what is good and right in Your eyes. In Jesus' name, amen.

For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, c.f., Matt 6:33, "But seek FIRST The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, THEN these other things shall be added to you," thank You in Jesus' Name.

Your request for reconciliation and for the Holy Spirit to guide you toward marriage has been heard and brought before the Lord with care and prayer.

We join you in asking that the Spirit of God will lead you both into all truth, and we pray first for that greater reconciliation of which Scripture speaks. All things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. There is no perfect peace between any two persons until each heart is at peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for salvation is in Him and in no other. So our chief prayer for you both is that you may know yourselves reconciled to God by the blood of the Lamb, and then walk in the light of that mercy.

Concerning marriage, we hold before you what God has revealed, that it is a holy and lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, cemented by mutual love, wherein the two become one. As it has been said, in a true marriage the husband and wife become one, and there is a blessed choice on both sides, not a mere passion or convenience. The Scripture says, I am married unto you, and this teaches us that earthly marriage is meant to reflect the faithfulness of Christ to His people. Therefore sex and living together belong only within that covenant, and any path toward marriage must be in purity, in self denial, and in honour before God. If you have walked in ways that have not honoured Him, we pray with you for repentance and for that restoration of soul which only Christ can give. He restores my soul, and often by dispensations of grace He leads us into ways of holiness that at first seem hard but end in complete restoration according to His grace.

We think also of Peter, who fell and was restored not by his own resolve but by the prayer of Jesus and the look of the Lord which severed him from the crowd and brought him to tears and then to renewed love and service. Till Peter had received from the Lord's own mouth assurance of his restoration, he did not take his place again. In the same way, true restoration between persons must come through humble confession, forgiveness, and the Lord's own work in the heart, making each more faithful afterwards.

So we pray in this way. O Lord our God, look upon these two persons and draw each one first to Thyself through Jesus Christ. Grant them repentance where there has been sin, wisdom where there is confusion, and purity where there has been temptation. If it be Thy will and according to Thy holy design for marriage as the lifelong union of one man and one woman, guide their steps, make their choice a blessed and deliberate one before Thee, and cement them in mutual love that seeks Thy glory. If reunion is not Thy will, give grace to accept Thy providence and to live in holiness and peace. Above all, let them be betrothed to Christ in faith, that they may be ready for the marriage of the Lamb, when all the redeemed shall be presented in righteousness. Lead them to seek godly counsel, to flee from all that would defile, and to wait upon Thee in prayer.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, in the Word, and under the care of faithful pastors who can know your circumstances and counsel you according to Scripture, that whatever is done may be done in holiness and in the fear of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request for prayer that you and this person would be reconciled and come together in marriage, and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking above all that His will be done and that He be glorified in both of your lives.

We will pray that the Holy Spirit guides you both into truth, convicts where there is sin, comforts where there is hurt, and leads you to holiness. Scripture teaches that marriage is a bond ordained by God, honorable and pure, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. It is not holiness itself, but it preserves the holiness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ when it is lived with chastity and orderly love, not permitting union outside of it. For that reason sex and living together belong only within marriage, and any marriage that honors God must be entered only in the Lord, with honor and with purity.

So we do not simply ask God to bless a reunion for its own sake, but we ask Him to work first in each heart through salvation in Christ alone. If there has been sexual intimacy or living together outside of marriage, we urge you both to repent and to pursue purity from this day forward, trusting Christ for forgiveness and for power to live anew. Use this time not for stirring old passions but for seeking the Lord with moderation and self control, in prayer, in the Word, and with wise counsel from faithful believers in the church.

Our prayer for you is this: that God would draw both of you closer to His Son, that He would make clear whether reconciliation unto a holy marriage is His good purpose for you, and that if it is, He would make that path straight in a way that is chaste, patient, and orderly. If it is not His will to bring you back together, we pray He would give you grace to accept His wisdom, to remain pure, and to follow peace with all people and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. May He guard you from using marriage or the hope of marriage as a cover for what is not holy, and may He teach you to use every season, single or married, for His service.

We will continue to pray that you both seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that He who proclaimed good tidings of righteousness, sanctification, redemption and adoption through Christ will lead you in the way that is truly best.
