We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up as you walk through this painful and uncertain season with your fiance after seven and a half years together and as you face the possibility of separating.
We understand how heavy this burden has felt and how you shared that you do not have the strength and discipline to carry this prayer on your own. We are honored that you invited us to pray with you and for you and to help bear this burden before the Lord with you. We have been praying with you that God would make His will clear to both of you, that He would place His will in your hearts and keep you from making the wrong decision, and that He would grant you both wisdom so that your lives would go in the direction He intends.
We know you feel heartbroken and scared and that you still love this man while he is confused about his feelings and you are questioning if he is the one you are supposed to be with. We pray that the Lord will draw near to you as you are brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18 and that He will comfort you with His peace and presence. We pray that He will give you both clarity and honesty in your conversations, that He would reveal His perfect plan for your lives and help you both to serve Him and move according to His plan. We ask God to grant you wisdom generously as He promises in James 1:5 and to guide your steps as you trust in Him as taught in Proverbs 3:5.
