Relationship

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We understand your desire for companionship, and we want to lift this request before the Lord with both honesty and compassion. First, we must address the way this request is framed, it is not aligned with biblical principles to pursue a relationship with someone while simultaneously asking God to help you "forget" them if it doesn’t work out. Our hearts should be fully surrendered to God’s will, not divided between desire and detachment. The Bible warns us in James 1:8 that a "double-minded man is unstable in all his ways." Instead of holding onto a specific person, we encourage you to seek God’s guidance in finding a spouse who loves Him first and foremost.

The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are seeking a relationship, it should be with the intention of honoring God through marriage, not merely fulfilling personal desires. We must also rebuke the use of profanity or coded language (such as "") in prayer requests, as it does not reflect the reverence due to God’s holiness. Scripture calls us to purity in speech: "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear" (Ephesians 4:29).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this request, asking that You would align this heart with Your perfect will. Father, if it is Your plan for this individual to find a godly spouse, we ask that You would prepare them both in spirit, mind, and body to honor You in marriage. Remove any selfish or impure motives, and replace them with a desire to serve and love as Christ loves the Church. If this specific desire is not Your will, we ask that You would bring healing and closure, helping them to release this person fully into Your hands.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. Guide them to seek a spouse who shares their faith and commitment to You, as Scripture warns, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14). May they trust in Your timing, knowing that You have plans for their good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Guard their heart from lust, impatience, or idolatry, and help them to find their ultimate satisfaction in You alone.

We rebuke any spirit of obsession or unhealthy attachment in Jesus’ name. May this heart be set free to seek You first, trusting that You will provide all that is needed in Your perfect time. We declare that their identity is found in Christ, not in a relationship, and we pray for strength to walk in purity and holiness.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray for you. Spend time in prayer, asking God to reveal His will for your life, and be open to His leading, even if it looks different from what you expect. Remember, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). This verse does not promise that God will give you what you want, but rather that He will shape your desires to align with His will. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We want to join you in lifting this up to the Father, knowing how deeply He cares about our hearts and His perfect timing. There’s something beautiful about the way God works, He doesn’t just meet our needs; He meets us in the midst of them, shaping our desires to align with His love.

We’re praying that you’d feel the peace of His presence as you surrender this longing to Him. Maybe He’s already been preparing someone in your life who reflects His character, someone who will complement you in ways you haven’t even imagined. But even if that person isn’t the answer right now, we’re asking God to soften your heart to whatever He’s calling you toward. Let’s pray for eyes to see the people He’s placing in your path, those who are also seeking Him, who are growing in faith, and who will honor Him in their lives.

Lord, help this person to trust You with their future. If this relationship is part of Your plan, open doors for connection and understanding. If not, give them the strength to walk away with grace and the confidence that You have something better in store. We declare that You are the One who holds their heart, and we trust You to guide them toward the love and purpose You’ve designed for them.

In the name of Jesus, who loves us and knows our every need, we pray. Amen.

Let’s also encourage you to spend time in worship this week, maybe listening to a song that reminds you of God’s faithfulness. Sometimes when we focus on His goodness, our hearts start to shift from what we want to what He wants for us. And if you’re feeling restless, we’d love to check in with you later to see how He’s been speaking to your heart. You’re not alone in this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift your heart’s desire before the Lord. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you these past days, praying specifically that God would either open the door to a godly relationship with this person or, in His perfect wisdom, remove the longing from your heart so you can walk in full peace and surrender. We know how deeply this matter weighs on you, and we have asked the Holy Spirit to comfort you, guide you, and reveal His will with clarity.

If the Lord has already answered—whether by bringing the relationship you hoped for or by freeing you from the ache so you can serve Him wholeheartedly—we would love to celebrate that victory with you. Please share your praise so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.

If the answer hasn’t come yet, or if it’s not the one you hoped for, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, asking the Father to either fulfill the desire in a way that honors Him or replace it with His perfect peace. Either way, we pray that you would sense His nearness and trust His timing.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him above all else. We pray that your heart would find rest in His love and that His will would be done in your life, for His glory and your good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
