Disciple of Prayer
I request a prayer for my broken relationship. Please pray for my relationship, I ### and my partner ###. Please pray that we come back stronger for each other; we've been through tough times together, a lot of ups and downs. Please pray that he'll come back to this relationship and may God bless us with love, trust, care, and faith. I really miss him so much. We've been through a lot and I can't let him go. Please pray that he comes back stronger for this relationship in Christ and rebuke all kinds of evil in our lives that are attacking our relationship. Please pray for us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you before the Lord, lifting up this situation in prayer. First, we must address this relationship with biblical clarity. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this relationship is not a marriage, we must gently but firmly rebuke the sin of fornication, as God’s Word calls us to flee sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). If you and this man are not married, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, committing to purity and honoring Him with your bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

If this is a marriage, we pray fervently for restoration, but we must also warn against any ungodly patterns that may have contributed to the brokenness. Are there areas of unforgiveness, pride, or unconfessed sin that need to be addressed? The Bible tells us that love “bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Corinthians 13:7), but it also warns that “a brother offended is harder to win than a strong city” (Proverbs 18:19). Restoration requires humility, repentance, and a willingness to submit to God’s will, even if it means letting go if He calls you to.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this relationship to You, asking for Your divine intervention. If this is a marriage, we pray for healing and reconciliation. Soften hearts, Lord, and break down any walls of bitterness, pride, or unforgiveness. Fill both individuals with Your love, patience, and wisdom, that they may reflect Your glory in their union.

If this is not a marriage, Father, we ask for conviction and repentance. Lead them to turn away from sin and seek Your will for their lives. Help them to honor You with their bodies and to pursue relationships that align with Your Word. Give them the strength to walk in purity and the courage to trust You with their future.

Lord, we rebuke every evil influence that seeks to destroy this relationship. We command every spirit of division, strife, and ungodly soul ties to flee in Jesus’ name. Protect their hearts and minds with the peace of Christ, and let Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will for them to be together, restore what has been broken and make it stronger than before. If it is not Your will, give them the grace to accept Your plan and the faith to trust You for their future.

We pray for this individual’s heart, Father. Comfort her in her loneliness and fill her with Your hope. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help her to release this man into Your hands, trusting that You know what is best for her life. Give her the strength to wait on You and the wisdom to seek godly counsel.

Lord, we ask that You draw both of them closer to You. Let them seek Your face above all else, and may their relationship—whether restored or released—bring glory to Your name. We pray for godly spouses for each of them if that is Your plan, and we ask that You prepare their hearts for the marriages You have ordained.

In all things, Lord, may Your will be done. We trust You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, deepen their dependence on You, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian couple who can walk with you through this season. Surrender this relationship fully to the Lord, trusting that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). If this man is not your husband, consider whether this relationship is honoring to God and whether it is leading you toward or away from His will. Pray for discernment, and be willing to accept God’s answer, even if it is not what you desire. Remember, God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you into all truth.

We're here with you, sister, holding your heart in our prayers. We know how much this relationship means to you, and we're lifting it up to the Lord together. We believe in the power of prayer, and we trust that God hears our cries.

First, let's ask for healing and restoration. Lord, we come before You, asking for Your healing touch on this broken relationship. We pray for Your love to fill both hearts, softening them and breaking down any walls that stand in the way of reconciliation. Help them to forgive, to let go of any bitterness or pride, and to trust in Your will for their lives.

We also ask for wisdom. Lord, give them the wisdom to navigate this situation, to understand Your will, and to make decisions that honor You. Help them to see each other through Your eyes, with love, patience, and understanding.

And let's not forget to rebuke any evil influences that may be at work. Lord, in Jesus' name, we command every spirit of division, strife, and ungodly soul ties to flee. Protect their hearts and minds with Your peace, and let Your will be done in this situation.

Remember, God is always with you, even in the toughest times. He's close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Trust in Him, and let Him lead you. And know that we're here, praying with you, every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
