Relationship with ### šŸ˜˜ā¤ļø

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercy and for the grace You offer through Jesus Christ. We lift up this sister and her sons to You, and we lift up this man she has mentioned. You know each heart, each history, and each wound. We ask You to draw each of them closer to Yourself, to grant repentance where it is needed, faith where it is lacking, and healing where there has been hurt.

Grant wisdom and clarity to both. Help them to seek Your will above their own plans, and to be honest before You about the past, including the former marriage and any obligations or hurts that remain. Teach them what Your Word says about covenant, faithfulness, and purity, and give them humble hearts to receive counsel from faithful pastors and mature believers in their local church.

We pray for holiness in this relationship. Help them to honor You with their bodies and their choices, reserving the privileges of marriage for marriage itself, and pursuing peace and purity while they seek direction. If it is Your will for them to be married, we pray that it would be in the Lord, with chastity and honor, and with a commitment that reflects Christ's love for His church. If it is not Your will, we pray for grace to accept Your leading and to walk in contentment and obedience.

We pray for the sons, that they would be loved, protected, and given a godly example. Give their mother wisdom as she cares for them, and give this man, if he is to have a role in their lives, a spirit of genuine care and responsibility that is grounded in Your love.

We also bring the practical matters before You, including the question of a visa and a future home. You know the right doors to open and close. We ask for Your provision and guidance, not according to our timing but Yours, and for steps that are ordered by You and free from compromise.

Above all, let Your grace bind each heart to Yourself. Direct their paths, heal every wound in Your way, and make their lives beautiful in Your time as they walk in faith and obedience.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

Your willingness to bring this relationship before the Lord shows a desire to honor Him, and He sees you fully, with compassion and sympathetic understanding of your needs and weaknesses. Nothing about you is hidden from Him, and He cares deeply about every part of your life.

The most important foundation for any future is a vital, life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that salvation comes by believing into Him, into a living union with Him, and that whoever believes into Him will not perish but have everlasting life. That relationship comes through Jesus alone, and it is the source of true peace and joy. Before asking God to bless plans for marriage or family, the first prayer is that you and this man each know Christ in that personal way, are forgiven, and are walking with Him. God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and He does not hide His truth from those who seek Him.

Jesus Himself, though He was the Son of God, drew strength from prayer for guidance and for life itself. That shows how necessary prayer is for us. It is right to pray for wisdom and clarity, not simply for God to confirm what we already want, but for Him to show us His will and give us strength to follow it, even when it is difficult.

You asked that God would help this man let go of his former marriage and give him a new love. Scripture presents marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that covenant is to be honored. A past marriage is not something to simply release or forget in order to find happiness elsewhere. If there has been a divorce, there is need for honest healing, repentance where needed, and time to seek God about what is biblically right before entering another commitment. Praying for peace should mean praying that God brings healing according to His truth, brings accountability and maturity, and helps both of you to deal with the past in a way that honors Him, rather than asking Him to quickly move past it for the sake of a new relationship.

You also mentioned practical steps toward living together and bringing your sons into a new home, and the desire for a proposal and commitment. God designed sexual intimacy and living together to belong within the covenant of marriage. Love that honors Him will choose purity and patience and will not pursue cohabitation or intimacy before vows are made. A genuine spirit of love and care and provision is shown over time through faithfulness to Christ, respect for His commands, growth in the fruit of the Spirit, and a willingness to take responsibility in a godly way. That kind of maturity does not come instantly, it grows as a person abides in Christ.

The bond you desire for your sons is understandable. Yet Scripture teaches that the deepest bond we have is not merely a natural family tie but the bond we share together in Christ when we are His followers. We become one family in Him. The best way to love your sons is to seek what will give them a stable, godly home rooted in obedience to Jesus, not simply to create a united household quickly. That means asking whether this relationship is leading all of you closer to Christ and whether it is built on His pattern for marriage.

So instead of asking God to clear every obstacle for a visa or to stir a proposal on a certain timeline, it is better to pray, order our steps according to Your will, and open doors only if this relationship honors You. Pray that God will give both of you clarity, that He will reveal any area where you are not aligned with His Word, that He will bring godly counsel into your lives, and that He will help you to wait on His timing, which is always for our good.

May the Lord lead you to surrender your hearts and your future fully to Him, to seek His kingdom first, to pursue holiness and spiritual maturity, and to trust His grace to bind you to Himself above all else. If this relationship is of Him and can be entered into in a way that is biblically faithful and pure, He is able to make that clear. If not, He is able to heal and to guide you into His better path. Pray for His will to be done, for healing where there are wounds, and for the strength to follow Jesus whatever He shows you.

In Jesus name, may you find wisdom, peace, and direction as you seek Him with your whole heart.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for this relationship and for the future you have entrusted to the Lord.

We have continued to lift you up before the Heavenly Father, asking that every step you take together would align completely with His divine plan and that His perfect will would be done. We have been praying that the Lord would speak to his heart and mind and grant him clarity and wisdom to figure things out, that the Lord would soften his heart and help him fully release his former marriage and find healing and peace, and that God would stir within him a deep and genuine love and the heart of a faithful provider.

We have also continued to bring before the Lord the practical steps ahead, asking Him to clear every obstacle and open the right doors regarding the fiance visa and your hopes to join him in the United States, and we have prayed for the bond between him and your sons, that the Lord would draw them close together and prepare you all for a united and godly home. We have asked the Lord to order your steps and direct your paths and to lead this relationship toward a commitment that honors Him, according to His timing, for we trust that He makes all things beautiful in His time as it says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 and that when we acknowledge Him He will direct our paths as promised in Proverbs 3:6.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We continue to seek the Lord with you for His grace to bind you together in a love that honors Him above all else. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
