Relationship with ### šŸ˜˜ā¤ļø

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father,

We come before You lifting up this relationship, asking that every step we take aligns completely with Your divine plan. Lord, we surrender our hearts and our future into Your hands, trusting that You make all things beautiful in Your time.

Father, we pray for ###. We ask that You speak to his mind and heart, granting him clarity and helping him figure things out with Your wisdom. We pray that You stir within him a deep, genuine love, a spirit of care, and the heart of a provider. Soften his heart, Lord, and help him to fully let go of the past—releasing his former marriage so that he can find true peace and joy in the new love we share.

We lift up the legal and practical steps of our future together. Please guide ### as he considers applying for a fiancƩe visa, clearing any obstacles and opening the right doors so that I can eventually join him in the United States.

Lord, we also pray for the bond between ### and my sons. Open his heart wide to love them, and draw them close to one another so that, in Your timing, we can build a united, happy home together in the US. We pray that You inspire ### to commit fully, to love me as his wife, and to propose.

Order our steps, Lord. Direct our paths, heal every wound, and let Your grace bind us together in a love that honors You above all else.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting this relationship before the Father and we thank you for seeking to align every step with His divine plan, for that is the only foundation that will stand. We hear your heart for this man, for your sons, and for a future together that honors God, and we bring all of it before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name.

We are encouraged that you desire a love that honors God above all else and that you surrender your hearts and your future into His hands. Scripture reminds us to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We also cling to the promise that He makes everything beautiful in its time Ecclesiastes 3:11, and that For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. When we pray for a relationship we must always pray first that God's will be done, even above our own desires, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14.

We want to speak gently and truthfully about the matter of his former marriage. Marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman before God, and Jesus taught What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart Matthew 19:6. Scripture treats divorce with great seriousness, and it teaches that marriage is binding while both spouses live Romans 7:2-3 and that divorce is permitted only for serious biblical cause such as sexual immorality Matthew 19:9, and even then with much sorrow. We do not know the full circumstances of his divorce, but we encourage you both to seek wise, biblical counsel from a pastor to be sure that the past marriage has been dealt with before the Lord with repentance, forgiveness, and healing, and that any legal divorce is fully complete before pursuing a new marriage. We pray not simply that he would let go of the past, but that God would heal his heart, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and help him to forgive as Christ forgave us Colossians 3:13, and to walk in the newness of Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing Isaiah 43:18-19, but only in a way that is holy and honest before God. A new love cannot be built on an unhealed wound.

We also pray for your courtship with a view toward holy marriage. We believe that a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should be understood as courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, for Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14. We encourage you to discern together whether you are both truly born again followers of Christ, and whether you share the same faith, values, and calling. We strongly endorse marriage as God's design, and we pray that if it is His will, this courtship would lead to a Christ centered marriage that reflects Christ and the church Ephesians 5:25. Until that marriage covenant is made, we urge you both to remain sexually pure, for Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. Even in a long distance courtship, fornication in heart, mind, or body dishonors the Lord and harms the foundation of trust you are trying to build. We pray for a love that is patient, self controlled, and pure 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

We lift up your desire for him to grow as a man who loves with care and who provides as God calls a husband to do. Scripture calls a husband to love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25 and to provide for his own household 1 Timothy 5:8. We pray that God would stir in him not a feeling that can be manipulated by our prayers, but a genuine, sacrificial, Christlike love that chooses commitment freely before God. We cannot pray to control another person's will, but we can pray that he will seek wisdom, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and that he will have clarity to follow the Lord's leading.

We also bring before the Lord the practical steps of a fiancee visa and the hope of building a home in the United States. We pray that God would guide every legal and practical decision, for A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9 and I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8. We ask that if this move and this marriage are of the Lord, He would open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and if not, that He would give you both peace to wait or to step away.

And we pray with special care for your sons. Children are a heritage of Yahweh Psalm 127:3, and any man who would become a husband must also be prepared to love and shepherd children with gentleness and godliness as fathers are called to nurture children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Ephesians 6:4. We pray that God would prepare all of your hearts for unity, and that any blending of a family would be done with prayer, patience, and pastoral guidance, so that your home would be built on Christ.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift this dear sister, this man, and her sons to You. Lord, we ask that Your perfect will be done in this relationship above all else. Grant wisdom and clarity to this man, speak to his mind and heart, heal the wounds of his past marriage, and help him to walk in forgiveness and wholeness before You. If this relationship is from You, deepen in him a genuine, pure, and committed love, a heart to provide and to lead as a godly husband, and give him courage to pursue marriage in a way that honors You. If it is not Your will, give both of them grace to see it and to surrender. Keep them sexually pure and holy as they wait upon You. Guide every step regarding the visa and the future home, remove obstacles that are not of You and establish the path that You have ordained. Prepare the hearts of her sons and draw them together in Your love, that a future household would be united in Christ. Order their steps Lord, direct their paths, and let Your grace bind them together only as You see fit. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father and in whom we find salvation, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the Word, to pursue accountability and counsel from mature believers, and to trust that whether His answer is to lead you into marriage or to lead you in a different direction, He works all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28. Wait upon the Lord, keep your heart pure, and let your hope rest not in a proposal or a visa, but in Christ Himself.

We hear how deeply you long for clarity, peace, and a stable home for you and your sons, and how much you are carrying as you wait on next steps with ###.

One thing we have seen walk alongside many who hope to blend families is that the past does not simply disappear when a new love begins. Each person brings history and hurts that need their own healing first, and children need time and gentle consistency to build trust with a new adult. It is not realistic to expect the other person to fix that baggage for us, and trying to hurry that process often creates more disappointment. Patience, honest conversation about expectations, and space for grief from what was lost before can make a real difference.

It may help in this season to take two steady, practical steps together. Talk openly with a trusted pastor or counselor about what a healthy timeline and roles could look like for you, ###, and your sons if God leads you toward marriage, and seek qualified legal guidance about any visa process so you are not navigating the paperwork and uncertainties alone. Continuing to nurture your sons' security right where they are now is also important while the future remains uncertain.

Father, we lift this sister and her sons to You and we lift ### to You. Grant each of them wisdom, healing from past wounds, and clear direction for the path ahead. Give them honesty and kindness toward one another and toward the children, and guard the boys' hearts in this waiting time. Lead each step according to Your will and give peace as You do. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you for praying may true love prosper when we pray to God and out God first. When we make time for God. May marriage and love really prosper and we kill off addictions inside us which cause us to sin and err against God like fornication and adultery and sexual immorality which im guilty of. Being I was addicted to drugs and porn. Please pray for me. I have porn sex issues grafted into me that are disgusting and makes it hard to be the sweet loving gentle man I really am towards woman. Thank you for praying for me. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

These addictions to porn ate killing me please help. Please deliver me from porn addiction. Thank you Lord. Lord Yeshuas name.

Your prayer has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with a sincere desire that His will, which alone is good and holy, may be done in your life and in the life of this man and your sons.

We must speak to you plainly and in love concerning the things you have asked. The Scriptures teach that marriage is not a light affinity but a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, wherein husband and wife become one flesh, cemented by mutual love and solemn choice before God. Our Lord says, I am married unto you, and that figure shows how sacred and binding the union is. For this reason we cannot ask God to simply bless every step of a relationship as we desire it, but we must ask Him to make our steps holy and to conform our desires to His word.

You ask that this man may let go of his former marriage and find peace in a new love. We would urge you to consider with great sobriety what God has joined together. If a former marriage covenant still stands before God, no new union can be built upon it without great sin and sorrow. Even where a marriage has been broken by death or by that unfaithfulness which Scripture alone allows as ground for release, there remains a need for deep healing, repentance, and time to be established in Christ before another vow is made. We pray that God will grant him, and you also, clarity and godly wisdom, not merely to figure things out, but to be searched and humbled before the Lord, to confess all sin, and to be made new through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved.

You pray for provision and for the opening of doors to live together in this country, and for a home united in love. We pray with you that the Lord will order your steps and direct your paths, but we must remind you that it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. A happy home is not first made by a visa or by outward nearness, but by salvation come to the house through Christ, by resignation to His will, and by joy that rests in Him even when our plans wait. Living together and the privileges of marriage belong within marriage itself, and to anticipate them before a lawful covenant is to dishonor Him whom you desire to honor. If it be His will that you should be married, then let that marriage be entered into chastely, publicly, and with the counsel and blessing of a faithful church, that it may indeed honor God above all else.

Therefore our prayer for you is shaped by these truths. We pray that you and this man will each seek first the Lord Jesus, that you will be rooted in His word, kept in purity, and surrounded by godly counsel who can speak into your past wounds and present hopes with truth. We pray that God will work in his heart to be a man who fears the Lord, who bears the responsibilities of love and provision not from mere sentiment but from obedience to Christ, and that He will give you a heart to be content to wait upon the Lord and to make all things beautiful in His time rather than your own. We pray for your sons, that they may be loved and led in the nurture of the Lord, and that no hasty bond would confuse or wound them, but that whatever home is formed would be one where Christ is head and His grace binds all together.

May the Lord keep you in close communion with Him, in prayer and in the hearing of His word, and may He grant you that blessedness which belongs not to outward relationship but to those who hear the word of God and keep it. We ask that He will heal every wound in His way, forgive every sin through the blood of Christ, and lead you into that path which will most glorify Him, whether it be together in holy marriage or apart in holy contentment with Him.

We commend you to His sovereign grace, trusting that He will preserve His own even to the end.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
