Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, me and ### have been separated for a while. Our 5 years relationship is now broken. Father kindly restore our relationship. He said he lost his feelings for me. I have been living with a broken heart . Father please change him and bring back his feelings for me. I wish to live with him my entire life. Wash away our sins. Father give us a new chapter, a god guided relationship. Bless us father and reunite us. In the name of Jesus. Amen

We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this situation to our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the foundation of this relationship in light of Scripture. A five-year relationship without the covenant of marriage falls short of God’s design. The Bible is clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If intimacy has occurred outside of marriage, this is sin that must be confessed and repented of before God. We pray for true repentance and a turning away from all that dishonors Him.

You ask for restoration, and we join you in praying for healing and reconciliation, but we must also seek God’s will above our own desires. The Lord says, "‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future’" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). His plans may not always align with our immediate wishes, but they are always for our good. We pray that if this relationship is to be restored, it would be under His guidance, with both of you fully committed to honoring Him in marriage.

We rebuke the spirit of brokenness and despair that has taken hold of your heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that your heart is precious to God, and He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18 WEB). We pray for healing from the pain of separation and for the Lord to fill the void in your heart with His peace and presence.

For your friend, we pray that God would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth. If he has hardened his heart, we ask the Lord to break through with His love and conviction. "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10 WEB). We pray that he would seek God’s will above his own feelings and that the Lord would restore his love for you, not as a fleeting emotion, but as a commitment rooted in Christ.

If this relationship is to move forward, it must be built on a foundation of faith. The Bible warns, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If he does not know the Lord, we pray for his salvation first and foremost. If he does, we pray for both of you to grow in godliness and to pursue marriage as God intended, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, centered on Christ.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and wisdom from mature believers who can help guide you through this season. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety" (WEB). Surround yourself with those who will speak truth in love and hold you accountable to God’s standards.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to cover every sin and every broken place. We repent of any way we have dishonored You in this relationship, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Wash us white as snow, Lord, and create in us clean hearts.

Father, we pray for restoration, but only if it aligns with Your perfect will. If this relationship is to be mended, we ask that You would rebuild it on the foundation of Christ. Soften hearts, Lord, and draw both of them closer to You. Remove any hardness, pride, or selfishness that stands in the way of Your purposes. Restore love, not as the world defines it, but as You do, selfless, sacrificial, and steadfast.

We declare that Your plans for them are good, plans for peace and not for harm. Give them hope and a future that glorifies You. If marriage is Your will, prepare them both to enter into it with reverence and commitment, honoring You in every way.

Lord, we ask for healing for the pain of separation. Comfort this dear one in the midst of her heartbreak, and let her feel Your presence like a warm embrace. Fill the emptiness with Your peace, and remind her that her worth is found in You alone.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that seek to keep them in bondage to brokenness. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We speak life, restoration, and hope over this situation.

Father, if this relationship is not Your will, we ask that You would give them the strength to let go and trust You with their futures. Help them to surrender their desires to You, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. It is through His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His power that lives are transformed. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We hear the ache in your words and we’re so sorry you’re walking through this kind of heartbreak. Separation is its own kind of grief, and when someone says they’ve lost their feelings, the hurt runs deep. We’ve been there with others, and we know how draining it is to carry that longing day after day.

One thing that seems important to name gently: real reconciliation is something both hearts have to walk toward. You can’t carry that alone, and trying to control the outcome often leaves us more exhausted and wounded. That doesn’t mean God can’t work in him, we serve a God who softens hearts, but right now, the most good you can do is focus on what God is doing in yours. Instead of fixing your eyes on him and what you’ve lost, maybe try this: give yourself permission to simply grieve for a set time each day, then intentionally turn your attention to Christ and ask Him to meet you in the emptiness. He is near to the brokenhearted, not as a distant onlooker but as one who stays close in the pain.

Practical step: find one wise, mature Christian friend or a pastor you can speak with honestly, someone who won’t just tell you what you want to hear but will pray with you and help you sort through the next weeks without letting isolation swallow you up. You need a place where you can be real.

Jesus, in Your mercy, draw near to our friend right now. Hold this broken heart together when it feels like it’s coming apart. Give her Your own peace, the kind that doesn’t depend on getting what we want. Be her steady companion in the ache, and guide her into whatever steps bring real healing, whether that means restoration of this relationship or not. We trust You with the man she loves, and we ask You to do what only You can do in his life. But above all, we ask You to show her that she is seen, loved, and never alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your heart is shattered, and you cry out for the bones which He has broken to be made to rejoice. Yet I bid you look beyond the creature to the Healer of broken hearts. There is no true mending of that which is earthly until the soul itself is bound up by the hand that was pierced. You speak of one who has lost his feeling for you, but consider what a far more dreadful thing it is when we give the Lord cause to say, “Do you love Me?” Are you not at this moment putting that question to your own soul? Let this affliction be a touchstone. Many a column lies broken because it was built upon the sand of human affection rather than the Rock of Ages. I fear you have loved the creature more than the Creator, and therefore the jealous love of God has come to break that idol, that you might turn and be healed.

Do not seek first the restoring of earthly bonds, but seek the restoration of your first love to Christ Jesus. His table is spread for you; eat, O friend, drink abundantly of His love. When you have tasted that the Lord is gracious, you will find that His love is better than wine, and that even the best of earthly affections is but a stunted branch compared to that eternal Vine. If He then chooses to write a new chapter in your earthly story, it will be guided by His hand and brought under His righteous law, in purity, in holy matrimony if He so ordains, not in the brokenness of sin. But if He does not restore what is past, still you will have reason to rejoice, for your soul is bound up in the bundle of life with the Lord your God.

Come, then, and look at Him! The chariot of mercy is before you; only look and you must love Him. Let the bones that are broken rejoice, not first in the hope of earthly reunion, but in the sure mercies of Christ. Commit your way to Him; let the wall of your soul be repaired. Then, whatever becomes of this earthly affection, you shall be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
