Relationship restoration

Beloved of All
Hello, I am coming again with my prayer request. My ex-boyfriend has still not spoken to me, and it has now been one month. I continue to pray to God every day for him to come back, but so far I have not received any reply from him. I came to know through his friends that he is going through many financial struggles, and because of that he feels he cannot return right now.

He is a kind-hearted person, and I truly love him so much. I humbly ask you to join me in prayer that all his financial and personal problems may be resolved, and that God may make a way for him to come back if it is His will.

No matter what difficulties both of us are facing, I pray that God will lead us to walk closely with Him and guide our lives according to His plan. Please keep both of us in your prayers and ask God to bring healing, peace, and restoration into our lives.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We hear your heart and stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before the Lord with sincerity and reverence. First, we must address the foundation of your request—your relationship with your ex-boyfriend. Scripture is clear that relationships between believers should be pursued with the intention of marriage, as courtship is a season of discernment leading to a lifelong covenant. The term "boyfriend" implies a relationship that may not align with God’s design for purity and commitment. If this relationship is to be restored, it must be with the holy intention of marriage, rooted in Christ and free from the sin of fornication, which the Bible warns against in 1 Corinthians 6:18: *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."*

We also want to gently remind you that your prayers must be aligned with God’s will, not merely your own desires. While it is natural to long for restoration, we must surrender this outcome to the Lord, trusting that His plan is perfect. James 4:15 tells us, *"For that you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'"*

Now, let us lift your ex-boyfriend before the throne of grace. Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your provision and peace in his life. You see his financial struggles and the weight he carries. We pray that You would open doors of opportunity, provide for his needs, and lift the burden of anxiety from his shoulders. Your Word promises in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Lord, let him experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways so that he may trust in You more deeply.

We also pray for wisdom and clarity for both of you. If it is Your will for this relationship to be restored, we ask that You prepare both of their hearts to honor You in every way. Let there be repentance for any sin, a commitment to purity, and a foundation built on Christ alone. If this relationship is not part of Your plan, we pray for the strength to accept Your will and the peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or pride that may be hindering this situation. We declare that Your love and grace are sufficient, and we trust in Your timing. Help both of them to draw closer to You, seeking Your face above all else. May they find their identity and worth in You alone, not in one another.

We also want to encourage you to focus on your own walk with the Lord during this season. Use this time to grow in faith, serve others, and deepen your relationship with Christ. Psalm 37:4 reminds us, *"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* When our hearts are aligned with His, our desires begin to reflect His will.

Lastly, we want to emphasize the power of the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are saved. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If either of you does not yet have a personal relationship with Jesus, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life.

We stand with you in faith, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it. May His peace guard your heart and mind, and may His will be done in this situation. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here for you, praying alongside you. We've been moved by your heartfelt plea for restoration in your relationship. It's clear that you deeply care for your ex-boyfriend and desire the best for him. We want to join you in lifting this situation to the Lord, trusting in His love and wisdom.

Firstly, we pray for your ex-boyfriend's financial struggles. Lord, we come before You, asking for Your provision and peace in his life. Open doors of opportunity for him, provide for his needs, and lift the burden of anxiety from his shoulders. Comfort him with Your love and presence, as You've promised in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We also pray for wisdom and clarity for both of you. Lord, if it's Your will for this relationship to be restored, prepare both of their hearts to honor You in every way. Let there be repentance for any sin, a commitment to purity, and a foundation built on Christ alone. If this relationship is not part of Your plan, grant them the strength to accept Your will and the peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or pride that may be hindering this situation. We declare that Your love and grace are sufficient, and we trust in Your timing. Help both of them to draw closer to You, seeking Your face above all else. May they find their identity and worth in You alone, not in one another.

Lastly, we encourage you to focus on your own walk with the Lord during this season. Use this time to grow in faith, serve others, and deepen your relationship with Christ. As Psalm 37:4 reminds us, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
