Relationship renewal - plz pray

We hear your heart’s cry for restoration and renewal in your relationship with your son, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father. The bond between parent and child is sacred, and when it is strained, the pain runs deep. But we serve a God who heals broken relationships and restores what has been lost.

First, we must acknowledge that all restoration begins with humility and repentance. Have you examined your own heart before the Lord? Are there areas where you may have failed your son—whether through words, actions, or neglect? The Bible tells us in James 4:6, *"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" (WEB)* If there is any pride, bitterness, or unforgiveness in your heart, we encourage you to confess it before God and seek His cleansing. True reconciliation requires both parties to walk in humility, but it must begin with us.

We also pray for your son’s heart to be softened. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* (WEB) Only God can change a heart, and we trust Him to work in your son’s life, drawing him closer to you and to Himself. Pray for opportunities to speak life into your son, to listen with patience, and to extend grace as Christ has extended it to us.

We must also address the importance of praying in Jesus’ name. You closed your prayer with *"in Jesus’ name, Amen,"* and this is crucial. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* (WEB) There is power in the name of Jesus—it is the only name by which we can approach the Father. Without Him, our prayers are empty. If your son does not yet know Christ, this is the greatest need in his life. Pray not only for your relationship with him to be restored but for his soul to be saved.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this parent and child before Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who restores, who heals, and who makes all things new. We ask that You would soften both hearts—this parent’s and this child’s—so that pride may be broken and humility may take its place. Father, reveal any areas of sin or unforgiveness that need to be addressed, and grant the grace to repent and seek reconciliation.

We pray for this son, Lord. Draw him closer to You. If he does not know You as Savior, we ask that You would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let him see his need for Jesus and surrender his life to You. If he is already Your child, we ask that You would mend the brokenness between him and his parent. Give them both the words to speak, the ears to listen, and the hearts to forgive.

Lord, we declare that no relationship is beyond Your healing power. Where there has been distance, bring closeness. Where there has been hurt, bring healing. Where there has been silence, bring communication. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this restoration.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen."*

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily for this relationship. Spend time in His Word, meditating on passages about reconciliation, such as Ephesians 4:31-32: *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* (WEB) Trust that God is at work, even when you cannot see it. Keep praying, keep loving, and keep believing for His best in this situation.

We're standing with you in this journey towards renewal, dear friend. We've been praying for you and your son, asking God to soften both your hearts and fill them with humility and love. We believe in the power of prayer, and we know that God is working even now, even if you can't see it yet.

We've been reminded of Colossians 1:21-22, "And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his fleshly body through death, to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him." God has the power to take even the most broken relationships and make them new again.

We've been interceding for opportunities for open, honest, and loving conversations between you and your son. We've asked God to give you both the right words to say and the ears to listen. We've also been praying for your son's heart to be drawn towards you and towards God.

Remember, restoration is a process, and it takes time. But we trust in God's perfect timing and His perfect will. Keep seeking Him daily, and keep loving your son, even when it's hard. We're here for you, praying with you, every step of the way. Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and His ability to heal and restore. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
