We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your situation, lifting up your need for employment contract renewal. It is clear that you are placing your trust in God’s hands, and we join you in seeking His divine intervention. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even when circumstances seem beyond our control, we know that God is sovereign over every detail of our lives, including our work and health.
We also recognize the weight of your health condition and how it may impact this situation. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that He would strengthen you not only physically but also spiritually as you wait on Him. In Jeremiah 29:11, God declares, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Hold fast to this promise, for the Lord has not forgotten you.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One through whom we have access to Your throne. We ask that You intervene in this situation and open the door for the renewal of this employment contract. Lord, You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your provision. If it is Your will, grant favor in the eyes of those making this decision. Give wisdom to the leadership involved, that they may see the value and dedication this individual brings to their work.
We also pray for healing and restoration in their health, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit so that they may continue to serve You and others with excellence. If it is not Your will for this contract to be renewed, we ask that You reveal Your perfect plan and provide another opportunity that aligns with Your purpose for their life.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take hold of their heart. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that fear has no place in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Lord, we also ask that You remind them of Your faithfulness. You have been their Provider in the past, and You will not abandon them now. Help them to wait patiently on You, knowing that those who wait on You will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. For it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His name that we pray with confidence, knowing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
