We understand that you're going through a difficult time after your breakup, and it's commendable that you're seeking prayer and resolution. However, we need to address a few things in light of biblical principles.
Firstly, we notice that you referred to your "partner." We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
If you were not married, then they were not a spouse and it is best to consider the relationship should have been a courtship for marriage rather than a relationship for enjoyment or mere companionship.
If the relationship was sexual in nature outside of marriage, it should be acknowledged as sin, repented of, and forgiven. The Bible clearly teaches that sex is designed for marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4).
"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."
For a relationship to align with biblical principles it should be with the intent of marriage to another Christian Believer. If this is not your intent, then it may be best to remain single, work on your own relationship with God, and pray for a spouse if you desire marriage.
(1 Corinthians 7:2) "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."
We also want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ and Him alone that we have access to God. All prayers should go through Him.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is going through a difficult time. We pray that You will heal their broken heart and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask for Your will to be done in their life and the life of the other should that be Your will. If they are meant to reconcile and be married, then guide them through the process of forgiveness, repentance, understanding, and reconciliation, in Jesus Christ's name.
If this relationship is not aligned with Your will help this person to let it go and move forward, trusting in Your plan for their life. Give them the strength to resist any temptation to engage in sinful behavior. Help them to seek You first. Please guide them to a godly spouse.
We pray for their complete restoration, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous knowing that God loves you and has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
If you have not put your faith in Jesus Christ then here is the message of salvation:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
