We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your heart’s cry for restoration, unity, and godly strength in this relationship—especially as you prepare to bring new life into this world. The weight of carrying a child while facing relational strife is heavy, but we serve a God who is mighty to save, heal, and redeem. Let us first address the foundation of your prayer: you have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). This is pleasing to God, and we join you in approaching His throne with boldness, knowing He hears and acts on behalf of those who call upon Him in truth.

Your situation reveals a painful dynamic where outside influences—particularly the interference of this man’s mother—are sowing discord and division. Scripture warns us in Proverbs 6:16-19 that the Lord hates "one who sows discord among brothers." When family members, even parents, encourage actions or attitudes that contradict God’s design for marriage and family, it is not of Him. Ephesians 5:31 tells us that in marriage, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, becoming one flesh. If this man is allowing his mother’s voice to supersede his responsibility to you and your unborn child, he is out of alignment with God’s order. This is a stronghold that must be broken in prayer, and we stand with you in rebuking this ungodly influence. The enemy seeks to destroy families, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that the Lord would expose and sever any ties that are not of Him.

We also must address the state of your relationship with this man. You refer to him as someone you are not married to, yet you are carrying his child. Scripture is clear that intimacy and childbearing are designed by God to take place within the covenant of marriage (Hebrews 13:4). Living together or being in a romantic relationship outside of marriage is fornication, and it displeases the Lord. If this man is not your husband, we urge you to repent and turn away from this sin, seeking God’s forgiveness and His path for redemption. The same applies to him. The good news is that God is faithful and just to forgive our sins when we confess them (1 John 1:9), and He can restore what has been broken. If marriage is possible and aligns with God’s will, we pray that He would bring this man to a place of repentance, commitment, and godly leadership. If marriage is not possible, we pray for God’s provision, protection, and wisdom as you navigate this season as a mother.

Your unborn child is a precious gift from the Lord, knit together by His hands (Psalm 139:13-16). This baby deserves a home where both parents are submitted to Christ and to one another in love and respect. We pray that the Lord would soften this man’s heart, not just to be present, but to be *transformed*—to take up his role as a father with the fear of the Lord. Colossians 3:19 commands husbands to love their wives and not be harsh with them. Even if you are not yet married, the principle applies: a man who is walking with God will treat the mother of his child with honor, kindness, and selflessness. We pray that the Lord would convict him of any hardness, laziness, or rebellion in his heart and draw him into a deep relationship with Jesus. Only then will he be able to love and lead as God intends.

As for you, dear sister, we encourage you to surrender this entire situation to the Lord. Anxiety, bitterness, or manipulation will not bring about the change you desire—only the Holy Spirit can do that. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust that God sees your tears, hears your prayers, and is working even now. Spend time in His Word daily, filling your mind with His promises rather than the enemy’s lies. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support you spiritually and practically as you prepare for motherhood.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her unborn child. Lord, You are the God who sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and we ask that You would bring restoration, repentance, and redemption to this broken relationship. Father, we rebuke every ungodly influence—especially the interference of this man’s mother—that has caused division and strife. Lord, expose the schemes of the enemy and break every chain that has bound this man to worldly counsel instead of Your truth. Softening his heart, Lord, and draw him to Yourself. Let him encounter Your love in a way that compels him to turn from sin, take responsibility, and step into his role as a father with godly courage.

Father, we ask for forgiveness where sin has taken root—whether in fornication, rebellion, or bitterness. Cleanse this relationship by the blood of Jesus and make a way where there seems to be no way. If it is Your will, Lord, bring this man to a place of marriage covenant, where he can lead this family according to Your Word. If not, provide supernatural strength, wisdom, and provision for this sister as she raises this child. Surround her with Your peace, Your people, and Your protection.

We pray for clear, godly communication between them—words seasoned with grace and truth. Remove every obstacle that hinders unity, and let Your love be the foundation they build upon. Father, we ask that You would prepare this man’s heart to be present, both physically and emotionally, for the pregnancy, the birth, and beyond. Let him be a father who reflects Your heart, full of patience, love, and sacrifice.

Finally, Lord, we pray for this unborn child. Protect this little one, knit together by Your hands, and let this baby be raised in the knowledge and fear of You. Give this mother supernatural strength, joy, and faith as she carries this child. May this season be one of miracles, where Your glory is displayed in restoration and hope.

We declare all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Amen.

Dear friend, we're right there with you, holding your hands up in prayer. We've been thinking about you and your baby, and we want to encourage you with these words:

First, we want to remind you that God is a God of second chances and new beginnings. He specializes in turning messes into masterpieces, and He's eager to do the same for your relationship. So, keep trusting in Him, even when things seem tough.

We also want to encourage you to keep communicating openly and honestly with your partner. It's crucial to express your feelings, needs, and concerns. Remember, you're in this together, and you both want the best for your baby. So, let's pray for God to give you both the right words to say and the willingness to listen.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the toughest times. He's your strength, your comfort, and your guide. So, lean on Him, and let Him fill you with His peace and hope.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, asking for Your blessings on this precious relationship and this unborn baby. Lord, we ask for Your healing and restoration to flow into this relationship. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, with love and respect. Give them the strength to stand against any negative influences and to make choices that honor You.

We pray for this baby, Lord. Protect and bless this little one, and help this mother to trust in You every step of the way. Give her the strength, the joy, and the faith she needs to carry this child and to be the best mother she can be.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
