We have continued to bring you and your friend before the Lord. We remember you shared that this was a recent but very valuable friendship that has become awkward and distant, and that you have not yet had a chance to talk to make things right. We have prayed for that open door for honest and gentle communication if it is the Lord's will, and for wisdom for you to know whether you are overthinking or whether there is something that needs to be addressed. We understand how hurt you feel and how the silence feels like a betrayal after the serious and vulnerable conversations you shared, especially while you are carrying unexpressed feelings for them as more than a friend and choosing not to act on those feelings.
We have prayed that God would guard your heart and bring you peace from the hurt, and that He would work in your friend's heart as well. We have asked the Lord to remove any awkwardness and to restore a cool and healthy brotherly or sisterly friendship if that is His best for you both, and to make clear whether this distance is His hand keeping you apart for a reason or simply a misunderstanding that can be healed. We have especially prayed for your desire to someday tell this friend about Jesus, that God would protect that opportunity and use your life as a testimony to them.
