Regrets

Koryl

Servant of All
Dear Loving Father, I am full of regrets for making wrong assumptions when my cousin asked me about the zonal price of their lots which she based with settling with squatters last year. With this, it affected the settlement also for the lots of my two sisters which are adjacent to each other with my cousin. The zonal is ###k I told my cousin ###k. The deal made was ###k. I made another mistake with another lot by not applying for conversion to commercial category which made the sale price lower. Both mistakes I was the one responsible. I cannot undo them anymore. Been ruminating them. Now this major land dispute with eviction to which I don't know how to handle. I leave them all at the foot of the cross. I pray in Jesus name. amen

We hear your heavy heart, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we join you in bringing these burdens before our Heavenly Father. Regret can be a crushing weight, especially when it involves the well-being of family and the stewardship of what God has entrusted to us. But we take comfort in knowing that our God is not only just, but also merciful and full of grace. You have already taken the first step toward healing by laying these regrets at the foot of the cross, and we stand with you in that surrender.

First, let us rebuke the spirit of condemnation that may be whispering lies to your heart. The enemy would love for you to remain trapped in guilt and shame, but Scripture tells us, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1 WEB). You are not defined by your mistakes, but by the finished work of Christ on the cross. His blood covers even this, and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). We also rebuke the spirit of fear that may be gripping you regarding the land dispute and eviction. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Trust in Him to guide you through this difficult season.

Now, let us address the situation with wisdom and truth. It is clear that you acted in good faith, even if the outcomes were not as intended. Proverbs 19:21 (WEB) reminds us, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail." While your intentions may have been to help your family, it is important to seek God’s wisdom in all things, especially in matters involving finances and property. James 1:5 (WEB) encourages us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance as you navigate this land dispute. Pray for discernment, and consider seeking godly counsel from mature believers who can offer wisdom and support.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of stewardship. Everything we have, our time, talents, and resources, belongs to God, and we are called to manage them wisely. In Luke 16:10-11 (WEB), Jesus says, "He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?" While your mistakes were not made out of dishonesty, they serve as a reminder to seek God’s will in all financial matters. Let this experience draw you closer to Him, trusting that He will redeem even these regrets for His glory.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is carrying the weight of regret and uncertainty. Lord, we thank You that You are a God of mercy and grace, and that Your love for us is not based on our performance, but on the finished work of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that You would pour out Your peace upon this dear one, calming the storm of anxiety and fear that may be raging within. Help them to release these regrets into Your hands, knowing that You are able to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Father, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance as they navigate this land dispute. Give them clarity of mind and a spirit of discernment. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and open doors where there seem to be none. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we trust that You will bring resolution to this situation in a way that honors You.

Lord, we also ask that You would heal any broken relationships within the family. Soften hearts and bring reconciliation where there has been misunderstanding or hurt. Help our brother/sister to extend grace and forgiveness, just as You have extended grace and forgiveness to us.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this experience to draw them closer to You. Teach them to seek Your will in all things, and to trust in Your provision. May they grow in wisdom and stewardship, and may they find their identity and security in You alone. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this, and God is with you every step of the way. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will lead you through this valley into a place of peace and restoration.

It’s hard to carry the weight of these regrets, especially when they’ve touched so many lives around you. We can only imagine how heavy your heart must feel right now, but we want you to know that you’re not alone in this. Jesus understands the burden of mistakes and the fear that comes with the consequences. He carried that weight to the cross long before you ever felt it, and He’s still holding it for you today.

Let’s ask God to help you see this situation through His eyes, not through the lens of what’s lost, but through the hope of what He can redeem. Pray for wisdom to know how to move forward, and trust that He will guide your steps even when the path isn’t clear. Family disputes are never easy, but God is bigger than any conflict, and His peace can guard your heart even in the midst of uncertainty.

Lord, we lift this burden up to You with our brother or sister in Christ. Wash over them with Your mercy, and help them to release these regrets into Your hands. Give them the strength to face what lies ahead, and surround them with people who can offer godly counsel and support. May Your peace reign in their heart, and may they feel Your presence in every step of this journey. Restore what’s been broken, and lead them into the healing and resolution only You can provide. In Jesus’ name we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply moved by your honest and heartfelt prayer request, and we want you to know that we have been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring peace to your heart and wisdom to your situation. It takes great humility to lay down regrets at the foot of the cross, and we have prayed that you would feel the weight of those burdens lifted as you surrender them fully to Jesus.

We have asked the Holy Spirit to comfort you in the midst of uncertainty, especially as you face this land dispute and the weight of decisions that cannot be undone. We have stood in agreement with you, believing that God is working even in the midst of mistakes, and that He can bring restoration where things feel broken. We’ve prayed for clarity in how to handle the eviction and for divine favor in resolving the matter justly and peacefully.

If the Lord has already begun to answer your prayer—whether through a sense of peace, a breakthrough in the dispute, or even the gentle assurance that He holds your future—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others walking through similar struggles. If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the situation unresolved, we invite you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf. You are not alone in this, and we are committed to praying alongside you until you see God’s hand move.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you as you seek Him, filling you with His grace and reminding you that His mercy is new every morning. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

I made mistakes, trusted the wrong people, and gave too much of myself at times. But I don't regret a thing. Every hardship made me wiser, and every loss reminded me of what truly matters. My past isn't something to be ashamed of—it's proof of how far I've come.
