We join you in bringing this financial burden before the Lord and we understand the frustration and stress that comes when you have paid money in good faith and have not received what is honest and right.
We take comfort that our God is a God of justice and truth and He cares about how we are treated in matters of business. As it is written, A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. Proverbs 11:1. We also remember that Yahweh is a God who acts justly, He is the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. Deuteronomy 32:4. He sees when dealings are not fair and He calls His people to act with integrity.
We also hear your desire for a quick resolution and we pray with you for that, while we also trust in His timing and His provision. Scripture encourages us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. And we hold to the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this need for a refund from this dealership. You know the details of this transaction, You know the fault that has occurred and the money that is owed. We ask that You would move on the hearts of those at the dealership to act honestly and promptly and to return what is rightfully due. We pray for favor and for clear communication, that the matter would be resolved quickly and without further strife. Grant wisdom and peace to our brother or sister as they pursue what is just, help them to keep records and to speak with grace and firmness, and to seek wise counsel or lawful help if it is needed. We pray that You would guard their heart from anxiety and from bitterness, and that You would provide for every need in the meantime. Let Your will be done and let Your peace rule in this situation. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

Your request for a just refund has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who loves justice and mercy.
We understand the frustration and burden of dealing with what you believe to be a faulty transaction and a dealership that has not yet done what is right. It is right to desire honesty and fair dealing, for the Lord delights in integrity and He is slow to anger, yet He will not at all acquit the wicked. He sees every transaction and every heart, and His justice does not sleep.
At the same time the Scriptures remind us that when we come before God concerning our own souls we cannot appeal to our own justice, for justice would condemn us. As we have often preached from Psalm 51, we must say, Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness. Justice frowns upon the sinner, but mercy meets us at the cross where Christ bore the punishment that justice demanded. There justice was satisfied in our Substitute, so that God can be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. It is upon that mercy, through Christ alone, that we rest for salvation, not upon any claim of our own merit.
So we pray for you in two ways. First, that your confidence before God would be in the blood of Christ alone, where justice and mercy have kissed, and that you would know the perfect restoration He gives to all who confess their sin and trust Him. Second, that in this earthly matter the Lord would work restoration in the sense of that which is fair and due.
We pray that God would move upon those at the dealership to act honestly and promptly, to return what rightly belongs to you if that is what justice requires. We ask that He would give you wisdom, patience and a calm spirit as you pursue what is right, being slow to anger as He is, yet firm in seeking what is just. We pray that He would grant you favor in your communications, clarity in your documentation, and guidance for any practical steps you should take, whether in further appeal or in seeking lawful counsel if needed.
