We hear your concern about this refund and the hard time you are being given, and we join with you in bringing this matter before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
We know that even small financial struggles can bring anxiety and frustration, but we are reminded in scripture to bring everything to God in prayer. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also remember the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Whether this refund comes through or not, we trust that He sees your need and will provide.
We pray for fairness and honesty on both sides of this transaction. A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. Proverbs 11:1 We ask God to move in the hearts of those who are handling your request, that they would act justly and with integrity, and we ask Him to give you wisdom and patience as you deal with them. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask for Your favor and for justice to be done. Soften the hearts of those in authority over this decision and guide them to act fairly. Give Your child wisdom to know what to say and how to proceed, and guard his heart from anxiety and anger. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding fill his heart while he waits. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We have heard your request concerning this refund and the difficulty you are meeting with, and we bring it before the Lord with you.
Though this trial may seem small beside greater afflictions, yet it is a real exercise of patience, and the Lord who numbers our hairs takes notice of such things. You have heard of the patience of Job, that greatly tried man who could not have shown patience if he had not endured trial. His patience was not that of one who cannot complain like a brute beast, nor that of a stoic who refuses to feel, but the patience of a child who believes in his Father's love. So we are taught that as soon as we are saved we come under the discipline of Christ, and a part of that discipline lies in the exercise of patience.
We pray that the patience of the Scriptures may be wrought in you in this waiting. May the Lord feed your soul by His Word in meditation and prayer, so that you may possess your soul in patience and in all this sin not by hasty word or bitter spirit. May He who showed such admirable patience in His own life and death, who restrained omnipotence itself in love, direct your heart into the patience of Christ, that you may suffer this vexation without complaint and trust Him to provide for your need.
