Could you please pray that my Aunt ### reconciles with my mom? She hasn’t talked to her in 17 years.

Hi,

I didn't want to talk about the "little red stocking" that I had found in my mother's old Christmas decoration box in front of everyone, but I thought you two would like to hear the story about it. This is a red stocking that I made when I was in 7th grade at ###. I was about 11 and ### was only 8, with only two weeks before Christmas. A few of my friends were talking about Christmas and how they looked forward especially to seeing what was in their stocking for Christmas morning. ### and I only remember having only a couple of live trees that were decorated for the holidays and never had any stockings. My girlfriends were all sewing Christmas dish cloths, but I asked Mrs. ### if I could make a red stocking instead. She had me draw with a pencil on paper a small stocking then cut out a pattern on red felt to help me sew the stocking together that afternoon. It was kind of small but I was so happy to show my mom and she said I would have to share it with ### as we had only one. Dad said we couldn't put much in the stocking because it had hung on the tree and we didn't want it to fall off because of the weight of being so heavy. I thought that it looked great and was so happy to share it with ###.

Christmas morning we both got up and looked inside the stocking. ### had a cute, cloth book that had 3 little kittens on the cover of it. I had a nice pink bottle of nail polish. I don't think ### remembers that book, but she really loved it, as our Siamese cat, ###, was due to have kittens within that week, so reading about kittens was special to her. Of course, I loved the nail polish that came from "###" and used it for a long time.

It was amazing that my mom had kept that stocking with the candles and not very much of any of the other decorations for Christmas. I just wish that the stocking would be filled with "### as my sister again", but wishes don't always come true.

I hope that she is truly happy now and at peace, for I do miss her, and always tried to take care of her.

Let’s Pray…Father God, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You will bless my family and all my friends; including myself. I plead the blood of Jesus over all our lives. I bind the spirit of strife, division, and all of Satan’s wicked devices and tools in the name of Jesus that he is trying to use against us. Save, bless, deliver, heal, sanctify, set us free and set us apart for the glory of God. Make us all fit for the Master’s Use.

Lead, guide, and direct our footsteps. Let Peace, Love, Joy, Hope, Faith, Excellent Health, Holiness, Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Protection and Prosperity rest in each of our homes, hearts, and lives. Make our family whole in You Lord Jesus. May we all come to know You, Love You, and Obey You. Let our lives be shaped by the Word of God. Be Lord Of All in All Our Lives. And all that I have asked of You God in this prayer please do the same for the writer of this prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen, So Be It.
