Beloved of All
Your cry for deliverance has been heard and it is taken to the Lord with care and with urgency. What you have described, the violation and the torment and the false claim of being married in the spirit, is not from God and is not a true marriage. Marriage as God created it is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and sexual union belongs only within that covenant. Any spirit that claims you as a spouse apart from that, or that comes to use your body against your will, is to be renounced and cut off completely in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and freedom.
Scripture shows us why this battle feels so deep. God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and you were created as spirit, soul, and body. The place you meet God is in the spirit, for God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. When sin entered, the spirit within man died, and man lived ruled by body and soul with no fellowship with God. Through new birth in Jesus Christ your spirit is made alive again. God intends that your life be ordered with the spirit uppermost, then the soul, then the body, so that you can have fellowship with Him, be led by Him, and know the assurance of His Spirit bearing witness with your spirit that you are His child. If you are His child, you are also His heir.
Even when the spirit is made alive, there is a war within. The flesh wars against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh, and these two are contrary to one another. To be ruled by the flesh brings death, but to be ruled by the Spirit brings life and peace. You cannot overcome the deeds of the flesh or the assault of evil spirits in your own strength. It must be by the Holy Spirit that the deeds of the body are put to death and that you walk in freedom. This is why we are called to walk in the Spirit, to live after the Spirit, to sow to the Spirit, and to be controlled by the Spirit. Jesus said His words are spirit and life, and as you receive His Word and yield to Him, you sow to the Spirit and you will reap of the Spirit life everlasting.
The way to know what is of God is also clear. Every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. The Holy Spirit always bears witness of Jesus, confesses that Jesus is Lord, and exalts Him. The proof of the Spirit of God dwelling in a life is also the fruit He produces, and the first fruit is love, a love for God and for others that you cannot produce on your own. Any spirit that brings fear, shame, sexual violation, or a counterfeit claim of marriage does not bear witness to Jesus and does not produce holy love, and it is to be rejected and tested and cast out.
So we pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus, we bring this dear one before You and ask for complete deliverance. Every incubus and succubus spirit, every spirit spouse, every demonic claim of marriage, every tie and cord and lie that has said she belongs to any other but You, we ask You to cut off and break now by Your power and by Your blood shed on the cross. Wash away every defilement and close every door that the enemy has used. Fill this life afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your Spirit bear witness with her spirit that she is a child of God, cleansed, forgiven, and belonging to You alone. Rule in her spirit, her mind, and her body, and make her whole. Teach her to walk in the Spirit so she will not fulfill the desires of the flesh, to be led by the Spirit, and to be strengthened with power by the Spirit. Give her a mind set on the things of the Spirit, on You and on fellowship with You. Let Your love be perfected in her and let Your peace guard her, day and night. Make her body to be Your temple where Your Holy Spirit dwells, and let no other spirit have place there. We ask for Your protection, Your healing, and Your abiding presence to fill her heart.
Continue to turn to Jesus alone, to call upon His name, to feed on His Word, and to ask daily to be filled and led and empowered by the Holy Spirit. If any thought or presence comes that does not confess Jesus Christ as Lord come in the flesh, reject it out loud in Jesus name and do not receive it. Walk in the light, keep your mind on the Lord, and present your body to Him. He is faithful to keep you and to give you the assurance that you are His.
