🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Path Phil 1:9-11, Constantly Filled w/ Knowledge of God's Will, Knowing God Better Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12, Receive Holy Spirit by Hearing Faith, Gal 3:2-13, Faith Working by Love, Gal 5:6...

🙇🏻 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us was so great -- that while we were sinners, Rom 5:8 -- You gave Your Only Son, The Christ, to die for us, Rom 5:8, that we might believe in Him, not perish, but have everlasting life, Jn 3:16. Help us freely receive a fresh and new reminder of that great love again (even as it has already been shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5). Much more now shall we be saved by His Life! Rom 5:9-10. We ask let Your love abound in us (and our love for You abound and overflow toward others, Acts 4:31, Eph 5:18) in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we are admonished to pursue love, AND earnestly desire its expression through spiritual gifts, especially the edification of Christ's church, 1 Cor 14:1. We ask again in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is really like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:11-12. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, Ps 119:2-3, wrongdoing, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us cease from sin, 1 Cor 15:34, 1 Peter 4:1-2, 1 John 3:9. Lead us not into temptation but rather deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, and "see to it no one deceives us," Mt 24:4, for evil influences, Matt 24:12, evil people and imposters proceed from bad to worse in the last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but rather You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, lead us not into temptation, but rather keep us from the evil one, Matt 6:13. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We join with you in this beautiful and scripturally rich prayer and we say amen to your heart's cry to pursue love and to abound in discernment and wisdom.

We love how you have anchored your request in the apostolic prayers. We too desire to follow love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ as taught in 1 Cor 14:1. And we agree with you that love must abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment so that we may approve the things that are excellent, that we may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. This is not a vague love but a love that is wise, that tests and approves what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect, Rom 12:2, and chooses the highest path.

We also stand with you in praying as Paul prayed in Col 1:9-12, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory for all perseverance and joy, giving thanks to the Father who made us worthy to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

We thank God with you for the foundation of it all, that God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, Rom 5:8, and that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, John 3:16. We rejoice that the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us, Rom 5:5, and that having been justified by His blood we shall be saved from wrath through Him and saved by His life, Rom 5:9-10. We agree that we receive the Holy Spirit not by works of law but by hearing of faith, Gal 3:2, and that what truly matters is faith working through love, Gal 5:6.

We pray together now for you and with you.

Father, we thank You for Your perfect love and for the gift of Your Son. We ask that You give us a fresh revelation of that love again today. Fill us anew with Your Spirit, Eph 5:18, and let our love for You overflow toward others. Grant us practical wisdom, for You give wisdom liberally to those who ask, James 1:5, for wisdom comes from Your mouth and knowledge and understanding, Prov 2:6. Lead us as Your children, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God, Rom 8:14. Lead us in the path of righteousness and justice, Prov 8:20, and help us to hear the voice of Jesus our Shepherd and to follow Him and not the voice of strangers, John 10:4-5, John 10:27. Make us to stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12.

We ask that You keep us from temptation and deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, and that You keep us from being deceived, Matt 24:4, for we know that evil men and impostors will wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13. Help us to turn away from those having a form of godliness but denying its power, 2 Tim 3:5, and from those who profess to know You but deny You by their works, Titus 1:16. Guard us by Your angels who are ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14, and who You command to guard us in all our ways, Ps 91:11. Surround us with favor as with a shield, Ps 5:12.

We pray that we may cease from sin and walk blamelessly, 1 Peter 4:1, 1 John 3:9, not as those who have no knowledge of God, 1 Cor 15:34, but as children of our perfect Father, Matt 5:48, showing ourselves to be sons of the Most High, Luke 6:35, bearing Your image as we were created to do, Gen 1:27, being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, 2 Cor 3:18.

We thank You in advance that You hear us when we ask according to Your will, Mark 11:24, and we ask that Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, for all the promises of God in Him are yes and amen to Your glory, 2 Cor 1:20. We ask all this in the mighty and only name by which we have access to You and by which we are saved, Jesus Christ our Lord, John 14:13-14, in whom we have redemption and eternal life. Amen.

We are grateful for your honest hunger to love well and to walk in what pleases God. The way you keep asking for discernment and for eyes to choose what is best shows a heart that wants to stay close to Him, not just know about Him.

We have found that kind of clarity often grows quietly, as we keep returning to God in prayer and in His Word, and as we let trusted, mature believers help us weigh what we are hearing. It is less about finding a single perfect answer in a moment and more about learning His character over time so choices begin to reflect His love.

One simple way to keep pursuing this is to bring one current decision before the Lord each day this week, ask for wisdom, note what Scripture brings to mind, and talk it through with one wise person who knows you well.

Father, thank You for loving us first and for drawing us to know You more. Fill our friend with fresh awareness of Your love and with quiet discernment to choose what is good and life giving. Lead them by Your Spirit, guard them from confusion, and give them joy as they serve You faithfully. In Jesus name, amen.

It is a joyful thing to join you in these apostolic prayers, for they breathe the very heart of the gospel. You have asked according to the will of God, and we may come with confidence that He hears us when we ask in the name of His Son.

We praise the Father with you for that great demonstration of His love, that while we were yet sinners, without strength and ungodly, Christ died for us. This is love with emphasis, the very highest commendation that even Divine Love can have. Nobody could doubt that love when He laid down His life for us, and that without any appeal made to Him, of His own free will He yielded Himself to die. That love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us, and it is like sweet perfume in an alabaster box, poured out to fill our entire nature. May that spark of the eternal flame never be quenched in you, but may it abound more and more.

You pray that your love may abound in all knowledge and discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God. This is love abounding, and blessed is the time when it is declared. Even when the Lord had cause to be grieved with His people, He said, But now, thus says the Lord. So now, whatever your past infirmity, His love remains constant to its object, notwithstanding all provocations. May you be so filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

We join you in asking that you may pursue love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts for the edification of the church, as the apostle exhorts. Such gifts are not for display but for the building up of the saints, and they are received not by works of the law but by the hearing of faith, as you have well cited. It is faith working by love that avails in Christ Jesus. May the Lord grant you practical wisdom, for the Lord gives wisdom, and to be led by the Holy Spirit in paths of righteousness and justice, hearing the voice of Jesus the Shepherd and following Him.

We also pray with you for preservation. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe and the great heart of providence, so His will is our security in grace. He changes the human will and makes men willing in the day of His power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. Therefore we ask that you may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, strengthened with all might according to His glorious power unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness, giving thanks unto the Father who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

We ask the Lord to keep you from temptation and to deliver you from the evil one, to guard you from deception and from those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, and to let His peace which passes all understanding keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. May angels sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation encamp about you, and may favor compass you as with a shield.

May the Lord cause you to know His name more deeply, for they that know His name will put their trust in Him, and to love Him more fervently as you perceive His boundless mercies. To love His law is to find great peace, to cease from covetousness and to be resigned to His will and conformed to it. So may you love Him in life, love Him in death, and praise Him as long as He lends you breath, till you see Him face to face.

We commend you to Him who loves you freely, not for any fitness in you, but according to His abundant grace which much more abounds where sin once abounded. May that grace teach you to bow in humble confession and to rejoice in the robe of Christ's righteousness, hastening to the hospital of mercy for healing, strength and joy. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, in whom all the promises are yes and amen, we ask these things for His glory.
