🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Phil 1:9-11, Constantly Knowing God Better Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12

Beloved of All
🙏 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us was so great -- that while we were sinners -- You gave Your Only Son, The Christ, to die for us, Rom 5:8, that we might believe in Him, not perish, but have everlasting life, Jn 3:16. Help us freely receive a fresh and new reminder of that great love again (even as it has already been shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5). Much more now shall we be saved by His Life! Rom 5:9-10. We ask let Your love abound in us (and our love for You abound and overflow toward others, Acts 4:31, Eph 5:18) in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we are admonished to pursue love, AND earnestly desire its expression through spiritual gifts, especially the edification of Christ's church, 1 Cor 14:1. We ask again in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is really like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:11-12. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, Ps 119:2-3, wrongdoing, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us cease from sin, 1 Cor 15:34, 1 Peter 4:1-2, 1 John 3:9. Lead us not into temptation but rather deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, and "see to it no one deceives us," Mt 24:4, for evil influences, Matt 24:12, evil people and imposters proceed from bad to worse in the last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but rather You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, lead us not into temptation, but rather keep us from the evil one, Matt 6:13. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We join you wholeheartedly in this beautiful and scriptural prayer and we say amen to your desire to pursue love above all things while earnestly desiring spiritual gifts for the edification of the body of Christ as taught in 1 Cor 14:1.

We thank our Father with you for the demonstration of His great love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, Rom 5:8, and that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life, John 3:16. We rejoice that this love has already been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us, Rom 5:5, and that having been justified by His blood we shall be saved from wrath through Him and saved by His life, Rom 5:9-10. What a foundation to stand upon, that we are already qualified to share in the inheritance of the saints in light, Col 1:12, not by our own merit but by His grace.

We agree with you in asking that our love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, Phil 1:9, so that we may approve the things that are excellent, that we may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:10-11. We echo your prayer that we would not settle for what is merely good but would have wisdom to choose the highest, to test and prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, Rom 12:2, being transformed by the renewing of our minds. This is practical wisdom that comes from above, for the Lord gives wisdom, out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding, He lays up sound wisdom for the upright, Prov 2:6-7, and if any of us lacks wisdom we are told to ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach, James 1:5.

We pray with you to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power according to the might of His glory for all endurance and perseverance with joy, giving thanks to the Father, Col 1:9-12. This is a walk that is led by the Spirit, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God, Rom 8:14, and Jesus said My sheep hear My voice, I know them and they follow Me, John 10:27, and they will not follow a stranger, John 10:5. We ask the Lord to keep our ears attuned to the Shepherd and our feet in paths of righteousness and justice, Prov 8:20, that we may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12.

We also join you in praying for protection and purity in these last days. We thank God that He gives His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways, Ps 91:11, for they are all serving spirits sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14. We ask our Father to lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13, as Jesus prayed not that we should be taken out of the world but that we should be kept from the evil one, John 17:15. We ask to be kept from deception, for Jesus warned see that no one deceives you, Matt 24:4, and we know evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, having a form of godliness but denying its power, and from these we are to turn away, 2 Tim 3:5, even those who profess to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Titus 1:16. Keep us, Lord, from lies and fear and cause us to cease from sin, 1 Cor 15:34, that we may no longer live the rest of our time in the flesh for the lusts of men but for the will of God, 1 Peter 4:2, for whoever is born of God does not make a practice of sin, 1 John 3:9.

Father, we pray together now that You would grant us favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, and let the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. We thank You in advance believing we have received what we ask according to Your will, Mark 11:24, knowing that however many are the promises of God, in Him is the Yes and in Him is the Amen to the glory of God through us, 2 Cor 1:20.

We are encouraged by your hunger to know God more deeply and to bear His image more clearly, for we were created in the image of God, Gen 1:27, and we shall bear the image of the heavenly, 1 Cor 15:49, being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, 2 Cor 3:18, that we may be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect, Matt 5:48, and be called children of the Most High as we love as He loves, Luke 6:35. May the Lord continue to increase this pursuit of love and discernment in you and in us, that Christ and His church may be built up and our Father glorified.

We pray all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and whatever we ask in His name He will do that the Father may be glorified in the Son, John 14:13. Amen.

We are grateful for the way you poured out your heart here. Your longing to know God more deeply, to love well, and to walk with clear discernment and wisdom to choose what is highest comes through so strongly. We join you in that desire and we are praying with you.

What you described, a life that is sincere, consistent, and pleasing to the Lord, is not something that happens all at once. Spiritual growth is usually gradual and quiet, a lifelong process with highs and lows. Over the long haul, what matters is that growth is happening, even when it feels slow. It helps to think of it more like training than trying, small faithful steps over time rather than one big effort.

The steady ways God uses to shape us are simple at heart. Staying close to His Word and letting it form our thinking, bringing honest prayer for ourselves and for others, gathering in worship where we are encouraged and sharpened by other believers, and leaning daily on the Holy Spirit who alone makes growth possible. God works uniquely in each of us, so the shape of that growth will look a little different in your life than in another's, and that is to be expected.

As you keep seeking Him, consider choosing one small, sustainable rhythm to stay rooted in this season, a regular time in the Word or prayer or weekly worship with others, and let that be your training ground.

Father, thank You for the love You have shown us in Jesus and for the work You are already doing. We ask You to deepen our friend's knowledge of Your will, give wisdom for each decision, and strengthen them to walk in a way that honors You with joy and consistency. Guard their heart with Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for love abounding in knowledge and discernment is most agreeable to the mind of God, and we do heartily join our petitions with yours at the throne of grace.

We thank our Father with you that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, and that this great love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. What a mercy is this, that He loved us not because we were lovely, but that He might make us so. Much more, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved by His life. Here is our sure hope, for as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so the preservation and perseverance and eternal glory of His people rests upon His will and not our own. He changes the human will and makes men willing in the day of His power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure.

We pray with you that your love may abound yet more and more in all knowledge and true discernment, that you may approve things that are excellent and be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God. This is the royal will which we seek to fulfill, not merely to know what is good but to choose the highest of all possible options, that which is good and acceptable and perfect, being transformed by the renewing of your mind. We ask the Lord to fill you with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might according to His glorious power unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.

We pray also that you may pursue love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts for the edifying of the church, as the apostle exhorts, and that you may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God. If any lack wisdom let him ask of God who gives liberally, and He will guide you in paths of righteousness and justice. May you hear the voice of Jesus your Shepherd and follow Him, and be kept from temptation and delivered from evil. Though evil men and impostors proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived, the Lord is faithful who shall establish you and keep you from evil. He gives His angels charge over you, and His peace which passes all understanding shall guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Remember that Christ is a perfect Saviour to begin the work and a perfect Saviour to carry it on and to finish it. He has offered Himself once for all, and by that will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once. In Him you have perfect cleansing and perfect pardon, so that you may come with boldness to the throne of grace, and perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Him because you trust in Him.

May the Lord keep you in perfect peace, cause you to abound in love toward all men, and make you to increase and to be established blameless before Him at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank Him in advance for hearing us, for all the promises of God in Him are yea and amen to the glory of God by us. In the name of Jesus our only hope and righteousness we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
