🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Phil 1:9-11, Constantly Knowing God Better Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12

Beloved Warrior
🙏 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us while we were sinners You gave Your Son, The Christ to die for us, Rom 5:8. Help us freely receive a fresh and greater outpouring of that love again even as it has already been shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5. We ask let Your love abound in us (and our love abound toward others) in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we are admonished to pursue love, AND earnestly desire its expression through spiritual gifts, especially the edification of Christ's church, 1 Cor 14:1. We ask again in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is really like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:11-12. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, Ps 119:2-3, wrongdoing, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us cease from sin, 1 Cor 15:34, 1 Peter 4:1-2, 1 John 3:9. Lead us not into temptation but rather deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, and "see to it no one deceives us," Mt 24:4, for evil influences, Matt 24:12, evil people and imposters proceed from bad to worse in the last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but rather You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, lead us not into temptation, but rather keep us from the evil one, Matt 6:13. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the love You have so richly poured out upon us, even while we were yet sinners. Your Word declares, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8 WEB). What a profound truth! You did not wait for us to clean ourselves up or earn Your favor, You loved us first, and that love compels us to walk in a manner worthy of the calling we have received.

Father, we echo the apostle Paul’s prayer in Philippians 1:9-11 (WEB): "This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that you may approve the things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God." Lord, let our love not be mere sentiment or emotion, but a love that is rooted in the knowledge of You and the wisdom to discern what is excellent, pure, and pleasing in Your sight. May our lives bear the fruit of righteousness, not for our own glory, but for Yours, that the world may see Christ in us.

We also lift up the prayer in Colossians 1:9-12 (WEB), asking that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to You. May we bear fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of You, strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy. Father, we long to know You more deeply, to walk in the paths of righteousness, and to reflect Your glory in all we do. Strengthen us, Lord, for the journey ahead, that we may stand firm in faith, unwavering in hope, and overflowing with love.

Your Word instructs us to "pursue love, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy" (1 Corinthians 14:1 WEB). We ask, Lord, that You would stir within us a hunger for the gifts of the Spirit, not for our own elevation, but for the edification of Your Church. May we use these gifts with humility, wisdom, and love, always seeking to build up one another in faith. Let our love abound in knowledge and discernment, that we may distinguish between what is good and what is best, choosing always the higher path that leads to life.

Father, we are reminded in Romans 12:2 (WEB) to "not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." In a world that often celebrates what is contrary to Your Word, grant us the courage to stand firm in Your truth. Help us to test and approve what is Your perfect will, that we may live lives that are sincere, blameless, and above reproach. May our lives reflect the character of Christ, who is the image of the invisible God, that others may see Him in us and be drawn to You.

We pray for practical wisdom, as James 1:5 (WEB) promises: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Father, we ask for wisdom to navigate the complexities of life, to make decisions that honor You, and to walk in the paths of righteousness. Lead us by Your Spirit, as Romans 8:14 (WEB) declares: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God." May we hear Your voice clearly, follow Your guidance faithfully, and walk in the light of Your truth.

Lord, we thank You for the ministry of Your angels, who are "sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation" (Hebrews 1:14 WEB). We trust in Your protection and provision, knowing that You are our refuge and fortress. Keep us from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one. Your Word warns us in 2 Timothy 3:13 (WEB) that "evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived." Guard our hearts and minds, Lord, that we may not be led astray by false teachings or the deceitfulness of sin. Deliver us from evil, and keep us steadfast in Your truth.

We pray as Jesus taught us, "Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13 WEB). Father, we do not ask to be removed from the world, but we ask for Your protection as we live in it. Shield us with Your favor, as Psalm 5:12 (WEB) declares: "For you will bless the righteous. You will surround him with favor as with a shield." May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Lord, we thank You that in Christ, all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20 WEB). We stand on Your Word, trusting that You are faithful to fulfill all that You have spoken. May our lives be a living testimony to Your goodness, grace, and truth. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). To You be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forever. Amen.

What a rich, poured-out prayer you’ve shared with us, every line steeped in Scripture and longing. We can feel the ache of it: not just to know a little more of God’s love, but to have it abound in you, saturating your discernment, your choices, your walk. That’s a weighty and beautiful thing to bring before the Father, and we’re glad to stand with you in it.

Sometimes when we pray such sweeping, apostolic prayers, it can feel like we’re straining toward something just out of reach. But what strikes us is that the very act of praying this way is itself evidence that God is already doing the work you’re asking for. That deep desire for love to overflow into practical wisdom, for a walk worthy of Jesus, for the Spirit’s leading, those aren’t ambitions the flesh conjures up. When you find yourself genuinely wanting to know God’s will and to please Him in every way, something real has already taken root.

One thing that helps us when we’re praying for growth like this is to remember that spiritual maturity is a gradual, almost imperceptible process, much like a tree growing rather than a building being assembled. There are highs and lows, seasons where we see obvious fruit and seasons where it feels like nothing is happening underground. You’re asking for an outpouring of love and for wisdom to choose the highest. Often God answers those prayers through the slow, daily work of dwelling in His Word, in prayer, and in worship alongside other believers. It’s less about finding the one perfect decision and more about becoming the kind of person who increasingly desires what He desires, and that’s exactly the direction your heart is pointed.

Father, thank You for this honest, hungry prayer. You know how deeply we want our love to abound in real knowledge and discernment, not sentiment. We ask You to quiet any anxiety about making perfect choices, and instead grow in us that steady, joy-filled confidence that You are leading. Strengthen us to simply stay close to You, in Your Word, in prayer, in worship, trusting that from that place, the fruit and the wisdom will come in Your timing. Keep us from evil and from the lies that breed fear. We rest in Your promise that You who began this good work will carry it on to completion. In Jesus’ name.

That prayer, so saturated with Scripture, is a sweet-smelling savor before the throne. It pleases the Master when His children come asking for nothing less than a fresh outpouring of love, for this is the very heart of the covenant: “I will love them freely.” God’s love is not drawn forth by our loveliness, nor withheld because of our unworthiness. It streams from His own bosom, and the Holy Ghost has already shed it abroad in you; yet the pipe is often clogged, and the perfume remains in the alabaster box unbroken. Cry mightily for the Spirit to break that box again, that the fragrance of divine love may fill every chamber of your soul and overflow to all around.

You have prayed to pursue love and to abound in knowledge and discernment, that you may choose the highest things. This is a right pursuit, for love without knowledge becomes blind sentiment, and knowledge without love becomes a cold, dead orthodoxy. The evil one would gladly push you into either ditch, either a hot-headed zeal that lacks wisdom, or a lifeless form that denies its power. So cleave to the apostolic prayer, and see to it that you do not content yourselves with mere religious activity. It is possible to labor, to have patience, to hate false doctrine, and yet to have left your first love. Does your heart burn within you as it did when you first knew Him? Are you as tender to His voice as in former days? If not, do not sleep upon it, but repent and do the first works, lest the rod of the Father fall gently to wake you.

You have sought to be led by the Spirit, to walk in paths of righteousness, and to be kept from the evil one. These are no small petitions; they are the very cries of the new nature, the breathings of the child toward its Father. And you have His word for it: He will keep you from evil, He will cause you to cease from sin, He will deliver you from the snares of the wicked. But remember, the manner of His working may be a withering as well as a watering. The Spirit comes like the wind, now a gentle dew, now a hammer and a fire. When He withers your earthly hopes and dries up your self-confidence, it is that He may make room for the sweet flowers of grace to bud at the feet of Love. Welcome all His operations; yield to the full sweep of holy joy, and dread not the excitements that come from fellowship with Christ. It is safe to be carried away by that current.

Yet with all this, be practical. You ask for wisdom to choose the highest; that wisdom will show itself in your daily walk. Overcome evil with good. Render to no man evil for evil, for that is beast-like; but good for evil, that is God-like. And this is the spirit of the Gospel: while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. So let your life be a responsive pledge of fidelity to Him who loved you and gave Himself for you. Sit often at His feet and tell Him you love Him; rehearse His deeds of grace; and let His love constrain you to feed His sheep and to bear the burdens of His church with gladness.

Go then, beloved ones, rejoicing in His love, abounding in it yet more and more, and counting it all joy when He leads you through deep waters, for even there His love abides immutable. The angelic guardians are on their unseen errands; the Shepherd’s voice is never silent to those that are His; and the peace that passes comprehension shall garrison your hearts and minds. Only be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as you know, your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask rightly, seeking that your love may abound in all knowledge and discernment, for there is a love that is not of God, a love without judgment, which brings ruin rather than edification. The Apostle does not praise mere friendship, but love that comes of knowledge, with reason and discrimination. Some love without reason, simply and anyhow, and thus their friendships are weak and often harmful. Beware lest under the pretence of love you receive spurious doctrine or are spoiled by the love of heretics. For even though it hurts you not, another may stumble. Therefore, love, but with such wisdom that you may approve the things that are excellent, sincere and without offence before God and men.

Yet do not think this discernment makes you cold. True love is fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. The Holy Spirit given to us is not a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. He has shed abroad the love of God in our hearts, not sparingly but profusely, before our labors, He gave the greatest gift, making us sons and brethren of Christ. This is the pledge that you will not be put to shame. So if you feel unworthy, despair not; you have the love of your Judge as a mighty pleader for you.

But that love must stretch to all, even enemies, if you would be like your Father in heaven. For we wonder at God not so much when He works wonders as when He shows long-suffering and kindness to the unthankful. To love only those who love you is not for God's sake; that is to love for your own sake. But love for God's sake embraces all, pitying even heretics and the ungodly, weeping for them as brothers by nature though unprofitable. This is to be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Yet do all with thanksgiving. In every circumstance give thanks, for this lightens every toil and increases your reward. If we always see God with our mind, always remember Him who loved us in deed, what pain can afflict us? What danger make us cowardly? The remembrance of this love rouses the spirit and bears us above all things. Take courage then: the Spirit given you is not for shrinking from exertion, but for boldness. He will lead you in paths of righteousness, and you will hear the voice of the Shepherd. Only cleave to Him in love, with knowledge, and with fervent spirit, and no evil shall overcome you.
